You got me into least killifish! I have 4 and I just found two teeny tiny babies in the tank. Still can’t find the golden type you have shown on your channel. Hopefully someday!
Beautiful! You should show us what it looks like now! I just discovered the crypt parva and it is really fun! How many fish did you put into the tank? It does look the tank will be a bugger to maintain. 😜 I had a hard time finding chili rasboras and during COVID lost all but one. I was able to find some merah and bought them hoping it would help with lowering the stress level of the chili. It did work for the most part and have a mixed school of 6 fish now. As soon as Flip Aquatics has some available, I am going to get 20 more. they are in my 75 g-big schools of nano fish in a large tank. 🥰
Finally set up a specific grow out nonscaped tank for the super red fry. Black painted black sides and bottom. A couple caves, Anubias on driftwood and one on rock. Guess I’m weird I think it looks great and every time I pull everything and put in bucket of water to catch fry I get to rescape. Just because I feel like it- did you know I sent my picture to the lonely hart’s club. They sent it back turns out they aren’t that lonely!-I stopped understanding math when the alphabet got involved.- You know why I don’t have tattoos? You don’t put a bumper sticker on a Ferrari!( that one is for the Professor 😝🤪)
I was thinking about sending you a note to ask if you were familiar with the fish I’ve just started keeping. They’re an even smaller Rasbora species, and I just got my second delivery of them today - Boraras Micros, aka Micro Rasbora. I have pygmys too, but the micro are about half the size, with an average adult topping out at less than half an inch in length. To get an appreciation for their size, I’ve told folks to flip a dime over to the “tails” side. The torch, in the middle of the image, is about the size/proportions of their body (without the fins). I’m keeping a school of 15 in a “micro nano” tank - and I still have to hunt for them unless they’re at the glass waiting to be fed. 🔬

Love the tank. It turned out great! The fish are adorable. I just bought a 5 gal, and I'm trying to decide how to scape it. I don't have a lot of things to work with, just what I already have. I'll figure it out. I'll check out some of your videos for ideas. 😀 Keep up the great work. 👍
Turned out great. Love seeing your big group of fish. Both beautiful! I have some chili’s and they are tiny. Which rasbora fish do you think are smaller?
Awesome scape! Will the rasboras be ok in your rock hard water? I thought they were soft water fish. That's what's keeping me from getting any. I don't want to have to deal with buffered substrate either.
I love it! Those fish are so cute. I have a Spec V aquarium and it is the favourite of my two tanks. How many of those tiny fish did you put in? I don't imagine they would make a lot of waste as they are so small.
Joanna, this is sooo lovely. I have been doing a ton of research and you convinced me that what I want is school of those adorable babies for my 5 gallon tank. One question, though, do you think that one or two snails would too much in this setting? Thanks a lot! I love watching your videos.
Ya, it is used a lot but I do love dragon stone. This scape was done with specific purposes in mind for other videos not yet released. I must agree that my tastes do run a bit simple, boring, whatever you want to call it.
I have a good friend escaping Ukraine right now. She had to leave her Nano tank in Kyev. When she gets here I want to give her a decent tank probably a Flex model, so she can start to feel at home here. She hopes to go back one day but she has no longer got a home to go too. She is travelling alone with her dog and cat. When she is up to it I will show her your channel.
I just saw this, I’m quite behind reading comments. My heart goes out to your friend and all in the Ukraine 🇺🇦 right now. How thoughtful of you. I will keep her in my prayers.
Ohhh I am working on a cave as well. Made one out of river stone, lava rock and super glue, then found some bone white and dark, almost black natural driftwood next to a river near by. Soo cool, Soo fun! Luv what ya do Mrs. Lady!!!
That is a beautiful scape and a great inspiration. It takes time to find just the right piece of wood. Each are so different. You’ve done a lovely job on this little tank.
Joanna I thoroughly enjoyed watching you set up this Aquascape!! And I love the fish so much!! Cave scapes are really the coolest! It's so much fun to watch the fish enjoy places they can go into and explore!! Thank you so much for sharing I hope you and the family are having a wonderful and blessed day 🙏🌿🐟🌿❤️✨🥰
Isn’t it just the best to watch them explore? It’s like making them a gift and hoping they like it! ☺️ it’s currently raining now, making me sleepy 😴- I hope you have a blessed day as well, friend 🌱💚🌿
I just brought home a group of 6 of those same fish about 10 days ago! I have mine quarantining in the 2.5 gal I raised up some fry in recently, and they are doing great. I was really pleased with how fast they colored up. I have rocks arranged almost cave-like, so they can hide in between, and lots of baby java ferns and 1 fake plant. They seem happy even though it's small. Shared with a nerite snail. Cute fish!
The woods and rocks go together so perfectly, it looks so natural with the plants. The fish are so sweet. I love tiny, little schooling fish. And I love watching you put a scape together. 👍❤👍
Looks very nice, but it seems odd to me to put rocks on top of wood. I think it works in this case because the wood looks something like rock. Interesting that the video at around 5:30 makes the aquarium look much larger than it actually is. The dwarf rasboras are a great choice for this landscape and small aquarium.
That really came out well. Plants really bring everything to life and makes it look great. What nice little fish, too. Another winner, Joanna. Take care.
Love those cute Rasboras. I was intent on reducing my tanks down to one or two and then along comes, Joanna with another scape! 😂 I feel I just have to have one similar
What a lovely little scape! I got a school of these sweet little gems last week and all coloring up and doing well. Hope you enjoy them as much as I am. :)
You’re kind, Melanie. I actually kinda like this one, I find myself smiling by it..and that’s quite rare for me. It’s just nice and simple. Have a great day, Melanie 🙂

Ahhhh!! Really?! ☺️ Aren’t they soooooo tiny?! THE cutest. The golds are a lot more timid ...so there’s that.
@@thesmallscape timid? Ah bummer. Yeah my lil guys are definitely not timid anymore. So much personality in a teeny package.

I'm in the process of putting together a heavily planted nano tank right now for a school of chili rasbora :) couldn't be more relevant
Looks great and those little fish are awesome! Perfect choice for the 5gal.
What a great video! The fish are adorable! I am always looking for ideas for enrichment for my fish and I think the cave is perfect for that!
Very nice, Joanna! I think I just found the next type of fish I want to keep!
Beautiful! And I love that piece of Mopani wood!
Cool fish!!!! Great landscaping!!!!
Very mice! Soo cute. That scape design would look nice in just about any size tank. Thank you!
Gosh thanks, Wendi! I was just happy it came together like it did in my head 😂
Really great but a bit boring with dragon stone(overused and not a huge fan of them in general), beautiful fish and great piece of wood!

Hey good morning blessings my friend 🙏💜
Looks amazing well done Joanna!
I'm loving the look of your Cave Scape 😍 👍👍❗
Thanks so much, John! It’s a peaceful tank to watch. ☺️
Cool stuff! Great video
Love the mopani/manzanita piece 👍 Great personable fish, have em in my kitchen. Found them to be fiercely territorial tho 😩 Enjoy 💋✨🌿🐟🍂
Little tough guys huh? ☺️
@@thesmallscape Definitely, but so fun to watch them pick through leaf litter, visit each other’s space and of course play tiggy 💋🤩😁
Yayyyy! Schooling fish ! Thanks for doing this video 🙌
Yayyy for teensie schools !! ☺️
I hope you let that tank cycle before you put the fish in, or they might have a really rough time in a few weeks!
Oh yes, all good! Like I showed, I added used filter media and Fritzyme 7. 🙂
What tank are you using?
Shouldn't but 1st💜
Almost missed this video. Had to run and make a cup of tea to enjoy one of Joanna's great tutorials.
Hi Tom - sip sip - enjoy! Snowing a bit today 🙂
@@thesmallscape Not here yet. Just rain. On its way though. Great video on the cave style.
I love it !!!! Gave me some great ideas for my next 5 gallon set up !!!
Oh yay! ☺️
Nice scape!!! 👍🏽

Wow! Sweet tank! And those fish are awesome when they color up! I keep about 10 or so in my 33 long. Setup looks excellent good job!

Like how you wedged the stick so not to float up
Yes! I super glued it a while back. They are one now...forever 😂
Hey can you do one for chili rasboras?
That would be super fun!
Love all micro rasboras and great choice of plants , live stock and hardscape.keep up the work
How beautiful! I love those little fish, too. I have chili rasboras and i just love those guys too. Enjoy your tank. :)
Do you really?! They are so cute 🥰
@@thesmallscape I do, Joanna.... Somehow, i thought you and Jason had chilis too. Mine are in my shrimp tank. They're adorable little dudes.

Absolutely adorable, I think doubling the fish would really make the tank pop! Great job.
You just keep getting better!🥰
You are so kind. Thank you for stopping by ☺️
Nice! You make it look so easy:)
I like to just keep it simple ☺️
Very cool scape Joanna. I love the cave and plants arrangement. Those little fish are adorable. Thank you for sharing. Have a great week.

I love it everything looks so good together 👀👍🏽✌🏽
Very cool Joanna ... I really like the subtle modifications such as the temp background and the sponge on the water outlet. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Papa Shrimp!! ☺️
Who makes the tank you used?
Hi - that’s a Fluval Spec 5 ☺️
You find the light it comes with does well growing the plants?
This turned out so beautiful! I love what you did! ❤ this just inspired me to give my little 7 gallon a make over! I love your chanel!
You’re kind, Melanie. I actually kinda like this one, I find myself smiling by it..and that’s quite rare for me. It’s just nice and simple. Have a great day, Melanie 🙂
Amazing scape, love the fish. Another great idea from the Super Scaper.
Lol - I love that Dave...from one super scaper to another!
Wow, looks amazing and the pygmy rasbora are just perfect for it 👌
They are just the cutest little fish, Mr PTA will have a species spotlight on them very soon. Yippee!!
Thank you for sharing your gift Joanne! I love watching you aqua scape and it’s so fun to pick up a little tips along the way! ☺️
What a nice thing to say, Denise. ☺️🌿
Love what you did do you have a Facebook group for either page I would love to join
Hi! I’m actually one of the rare humans that are not on Facebook. Someday perhaps 🙂
Absolutely stunning. I love it❤
It looks beautiful Joanna! 😍
What cute happy fish! The cave scape is fun! 🐟 🌱
Everything worked out so well together and some extra video skills too. Looks pro !!
Always trying... ☺️
Curious to see how this one turns out.
In my Spec V I have such a hard time with hair algea.
I even swapped the light to no avail.
Really?! That’s a bummer. I currently am battling that stuff in one of my tanks. It’s a real annoyance. I shall keep you posted ☺️
Well Joanna, you've done it again and created another inspirational masterpiece! 👏 😍
Thank you Staci ☺️
I want a tank like this. So lovely.
Such an inspiring little tank, thank you for sharing! 💚💚
