I'm envious of the inspection pit, it's fantastic. All those tiny features on the Manitou are great as well - nothing fancy, but it's durable and won't interfere with maintenance.
Keep going baz with ashville loader he will understand and look after you guys in the long run keep up with good work

I feel for you baz on that transmission, sometimes when u try and do your best to help someone out and it doesn't work out u get caught in the cross fire been there myself. As long u know you done your absolute best there's not much more u can do. It will all work out in the end and you learn so much from them jobs. Fingers crossed for you and Daniel as you both seem two genuine guys. Great video as always 👍

Hi Baz, i understand where you are with the Liebherr!!! Your friend gave you good advise, given the hours of operation, i'd say cut your loses and potential future loses. Only advise, trying to stay positive

Win some, lose some Baz but you will keep on fighting, we know that for sure. Always knocks the wind out of your sails when things don't go as you hoped, even after the best attempts to do a good deed.You care a lot about your clients/friends and wear your heart on your sleeve mate. Keep at it with Ashville’s machine your in to deep to walk away or be pissed off., it’s a massive build many would never take it on the joy you will get when that goes back onto the low loader is worth the headaches and pain that job has caused. My mate always says “A friend in need is a nuisance” always puts a smile on my face when I hear someone says my mate asked me to do it

Lots of work well done, Baz if you get a bin with the hinges rung so it wont close, just put a scaffold pole in the corner where the hinges are and the door will sit away from the close face. Get a chain hoist and fix tabs to pull off then pull the door closed using the hoist.
Did loads for Veoila saved them a fortune 1 hr fix against they had to send them away for Min £500.00 fix and a bin down. The drivers used to let them swing back then ring up saying it won't shut soon stopped that lark lol
Problem with that Liebherr is there could be a crack inside the casting, or there could be a crappy little seal mis-seated on the swash, or one of the tolerances could be out by a tiny bit due to wear - at them pressures, 17-18 bar, tiny differences make for huge leaks.
Upside is there's 0 pressure at the box & 17-18 b at the pump, would be worse if there was 17 at pump & 8 at box - harder to find a small drop than a total loss. Might just be a boo-boo in assembly, or a missing seal, might not. Not being able to test it off makes fault finding a right pain & diagnostics will just say there's a transmission pressure issue, won't have a clue where or what. Plus, chances are whatever poor sod is checking it, they'll not have done another & won't have any known good to refer to..
No good deed goes unpunished & all that Baz. Best of luck to Tim & the lads getting it sorted. A pain indeed. Stuff like this, you're so deep into jobs financially, it has to work going out - or everyone loses.. Headwreckers.

These things happen Baz, I feel for the guys who built the transmission. Shame they didn’t have a test rig to allow them to bench test it.
That pipe guard is a proper Rolls Royce job. Looking at that pit, I can see some orders for canal boats coming your way. Well done and thank you, you’re doing a great job 👍

I think that you should look at getting an overhead crane in the shop. But I know that is most likely on your to do list
I worked in heavy manufacturing for over 45 years and enjoy watching a pro do this all the best going forward.

Take it easy with the loader situation. I think the skidsteer hydraulic guard got the best of you. I'd need a few drinks & a long weekend after battling something like that . And you went straight from that into the loader saga. Maybe consiser sticking solely to managing & delegating /mentoring .

I can't believe Manitou didn't think that that connection manifold wasn't the biggest target for any piece of whatever to land on and damage those connections. Liebherr wouldn't have let that out the door. Great vid.
