i went to CP for my senior trip in May or June 1989. This coaster was all anyone talk about bc it was the first one to have a 200 foot drop (if I'm not mistaken)
Now it kinda looks like a kiddie coaster.

Magnum is such an enigma/double edged sword, its like a similar situation to Mine Blower. The airtime is so bonkers but at the same time so is the roughness. I don't mind Arrow jenk but thats just Arrow pain right there.

Magnum is lifeee front row is actually the magic seat... everyone says row 3 but ive been on this thing thousands of times.Lapbar needs to be 1 click loose and seatbelt tight for most enjoyable ride.

I always called this seat "the ejector seat." I believe car 6 row 1 or row 2 is "the magic seat." Much smoother and a bit less painful airtime.

So you did get a full POV of this ride from the station. I forgot what seat I had to sit on but it was the front or back but I don't remember where , where it wasn't as rough because my friend kept wanting to marathon this ride since it was the only coaster without a wait.
