Audi, bmw and others make the top one nice and just stick a rectangle under it and call it a day. They think that it’s hidden when it’s clearly visible and it makes it look like an afterthought

Surely, they could bring it back with all the EV nonsense they've been doing and stay within the dumb "fleet emissions" rules in the EU, and it doesn't even need to be a V10. Go for a V8 like the original, use the one from that Huracan-replacement that revs to 10k (the Temerario? I can't remember the name of the Huracan replacement).

He did really good work on the VW Golf, pulling it out of its blah-look being a car that has to appeal to too many different aspects. The sharp lines really made the Golf 7 stand out. Tho with Audi his design language wasn’t a good fit imho. Too sharp angles, even with only seeing the Prologue concept I knew it would go downhill from Walter de Silva-era Audi design. And it did.

Audi has just been late in releasing new models. So it's logical that there has been some struggling recently but new models are coming and sales will pick up for sure. I don't think they are even that much bad looking (except the A6 E-tron which is horrendous), but once the old models will be renewed, they will be fine. So that's not a big deal imo

One of Audi's core problems is that they look old fashioned, they are basically generic looking cars. They aren't bad, they are basically nicer VWs available with lots of horsepower but because they are designed to be inoffensive they look like 20 year old cars. I don't even like 90s Audis, I thought they looked generic then too.

    - 80 (b4)
    - Coupe (b4)

    - A6 (C5) - the back was incredibly designed
    - 1st gen TT

Tesla obviously because it was the trendy electric vehicle and first to take off, and Audi because of their superb design that made them desired, particularly among the younger demographic, (kind of like Lexus was desired in the 90s).
