I just called an Uber to come pick up my weekly laundry and deliver it to your laundromat. I hope you use lemon scented soap. 🤣.....Great job on this 👍😎🇺🇸😇
Great build! I have an old double metal wash and rinse tub on wheels that don't roll anymore. It sure comes in handy. And, yes you can get a nice wringer. ❤
This is awesome!!😍 You've done a fantastic job, and YOU ARE clever!!! With my back the way it is, this would work perfectly for me. I'm happy with a large bucket / tub if I have to handwash, but my back needs more looking after these days. Love your idea❤❤❤
I think we are gonna give this build a try. We were going to save for the Leman's but this may do better. I might add some holes in the agitator so the water and slosh through it. Thanks.
I bought mine from Lehman last year. Only 1 they had in stock with the winger and they rang up the marked price on it & not Internet price. It was about $200 savings that way. If you live close by then it's worth the trip just in savings from shipping cost. I live about 3hrs away. I was able to pick up more off grid stuff from the savings
cool idea. Thanks for sharing. I think I'll try to build similar - however, I'll need to have an easy storage solution so maybe removable legs are the way to go for me. Love the idea of mounting a manual wringer.
Very nice build. Pure genius. I've been wanting something like this for myself, but I justt wasn't sure how to go about making it. I've got a wringer that I bought a few years ago, and this was the key piece I needed to set myself up with a great off grid washing machine. I have even come up with an idea for making it a lot better, and when I do it, I'll be sure to give you the credit for the original idea. It will be on my alternate channel DIMTIM1000. Thank you so much for sharing.
Fancy! As a Scoutmaster I had to teach my scouts how to wash their dirty clothes by hand! Having done that for years it really wasn’t that hard. Nice design.
Have a nice trip? You preparing for the power being shut off? Nice project but, I would just build a wood gasifier to run my generator. Then I could use the labor saving devices. If you go with the gasifier and generator, put them on a trailer and use an electric chainsaw. Good Luck, Rick
@@will5184It is currently a bunch of propane tanks and pipes. When I need it, I'll build it but its not a priority yet. Mr Teslonian has excellent how to videos for alternative energy projects. Restoring my pickup and and enlarging my garden are the priorities. You could look at powering your washer with a vertical wind turbine and run it through the trans-axle from a lawn tractor. Good Luck, Rick
It is still going to be very cold in winter using this, but it does wonders for laundry outdoors if its all you can do. I would LOVE to have the ability to hang my laundry outdoors but my neighbors complain about everything I do.
did something similar diy with a 55 gallon. check out the pannedemic dasher washer here on youtube. prefer to use 30 and 15 gallon size. i use them inside my bathtub so i don't need a stand. the only hand crank wringer i found that works is the heavy duty carwash type.
The old school method would be a tub and paddle or plunger. the washboard is only used for stains or really dirty areas (collars, cuffs, ect) I prefer my new set-up.

When bad times will come we wish to know or have all this😂
If I were doing "off-grid" this would be THE design to use. Thank you for sharing this.
You bet!
Mines better, no offense.
Looks like a great project

It was good to see a new video from you, I really missed them.

Impressive!! I always enjoy your ideas and videos!
I like your DIY home washer, Lemans is a good place to find those wringers. They have a lot of non-electric items.

Great job! Thank you for sharing 🙂
Throw some wheels on the bottom, heavy problem solved.
Great build ❤
That thing is pretty good! I like it! Awesome job!
Thanks
Looks great!
Awesome. Could you also add a set of rollers (Wringer) to squeeze the water out?

Europe was great, thanks. Do you have a video of your wood gasifier?

Impressive! Now, I just need to find a guy (or gal) to build me one! Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks
I like it. I'll just need to adapt it to a 55 gallon drum. Thanks!
Good Morning ! New SUB. Thanks Will. TAKE CARE..
Need to see it working!😜
Good design.
Nice!
More high tech than the big rock in the brook behind my house:)
Okay, where's the hand crank or the stationary bicycle chained to the mechanism? How about a demo Billy-Bob?
There are a couple others who've hade a dasher washer. but they used other materials.
Saludos desde México buen video voy a construir uno en cuanto lo tenga te enviaré una foto como muestra de agradecimiento
Me alegro de que te hayas inspirado. Mis mejores deseos para el proyecto.
washboard and tub? bucket and toilet plunger (never used in a toilet of course)? i use both.
The old school method would be a tub and paddle or plunger. the washboard is only used for stains or really dirty areas (collars, cuffs, ect) I prefer my new set-up.
Add on idea, figure out how to make it bicycle powered for a kid to do the laundty😂. Looks good though really
No demonstration?
I did a separate video for that.
You should sell them.
Or if you don't sell them, you should sell the plans to make them.
You should patent this, then make & sell them :)
I give you permission to do this. I hope you make millions.
Just built my own Dasher stlye washing machine, check it out
I've shown the wife this video . Now she won't speak to me . I thought the cross bar is ideal to lean while watching her turn the handle
😂 😂😂
