@@kennycampbelljr5896 to make sure that it goes into the pan with the yolk intact is a skill. Another level up is when you could crack, let it go into the pan with one hand and with the egg still remains in perfect condition
thats awesome!! just remember its okay to learn slow :) you have lots of time to learn! (tbh, scrambled eggs are easier because you cant mess them up. pasta and mac n cheese are also easy to make!)
ok so i just tried making this and when i thought the egg was almost done cooking i forgot to grab a plate and i was gonna make toast to dip in the yoke and i forgot to put the bread in the toaster so i did that got a plate took the egg of the pan and it just slid off the pan onto the plate wich i thought was pretty weird and i tried the egg and i put way too much butter and i shoulda let the egg cook more because it fell apart when i picked it up to put on the toast(which i burnt) then i was gonna make another one but when i tried to crack the egg to put in the pan the egg but it exploded and didnt get in the pan right and it all mixed so i just ended up making 4 bites of scrambled eggs wich i put on the other peice on burnt toast im eating it now hope i dont get salmonella:)
Chill. Some people like me, would like to know how to make sunny side up eggs. I’ve recently wanted to learn how to cook so I’m kind of putting recipes together. No need to get all upset or short tempered because YOU didn’t like the video because I found it quite helpful, however you sound like a 10 year old who has nothing better to do but throw a tantrum.
That was NOT the same egg that was poured into the skillet. I CANNOT find a single video that shows from start to finish WITHOUT cutting to a DIFFERENT finished egg. Cooking a PERFECT sunny side up egg is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY harder than all these stupid videos make out. You are either going to brown the edges too much, cook the yolk too much, not have an ACTUAL sunny side (white cooked over the yolk)... YEAH. Anyone else out there have these SAME issues?!?! I'm convinced it's because I cook with electric and not gas.
Gas or electric shouldn't matter for this. Honestly you just need a hot pan. Heat the pan up, crack the egg in the pan and kill the heat. The residual heat in the pan will cook the egg 😊
Thanks, I'm new to cooking at only 14 years old! This will help alot!
Good for you Pruggy. Ignore negative comments.
@John Obama! 1: he doesnt need to be 18
2: no one asked you either

@John Obama! No one cares!
I'm 14 too kibby! So cool to find someone my age actually caring about cooking lol
Cracking an egg without splitting the yolk is a skill too
That’s why you crack it into a bowl first. Just tried it it really works well

Cracking the egg AND cracking the yolk is more of a skill I’d argue. How do you even do that?
Thanks so much I'm 11 and my mom's always complaining about how I never cook I made breakfast this morning!

you can add some after!
Delicious and easy to cook
So I can't use vegetable oil to make my sunny side up eggs? Because I use vegetable oil to make my eggs
U can use vegetable oil or butter but butter just gives a better taste

But how do you know if the egg is ripe enough?
Ripe? It’s not a piece of fruit, don’t let it age too long.

White cooked over the yolk is not sunny side up. That’s over easy. This video is perfect.
No, this is completely wrong. The top will not be done.
