I hated him as a young browns fan in college, in the early 2010s. Here I am now, a father and husband, and my wife said she wanted to watch a game with me this season. It was Joe's first game in Cleveland. She's been hooked since, and it's crazy that I've ended up loving this guy.
Also, i wish most of you guys knew the entire relationship between the Browns, Ravens, and Art Model lol

I’m a Ravens fan Baltimore born and bred AND IM A FLACCO FAN. So happy for him. He deserves this. ANYONE who can play (like he did) 12 weeks out of a back surgery IN A back brace ON the field IN an NFL game …. Well. There was also the game where metal knee brace locked up on him on the field. This is a man who knew what was coming down the pike from his hometown in Bmore and STILL mentored a young player Lamar Jackson. Showed him the ropes. Joe could have walked away HE DIDNT. He is well spoken, thoughtful, KIND and has genuine respect for his wife family friend’s teammates and HOMETOWN. I’ve been beaten up over the years for my fav😊 QB JOE COOL ! So I say. Please Joe and the BROWNS PUT A WHOOPIN ON MY RAVENS AND GET TO THE SUPERBOWL !!! GO JOE GO BROWNS !!!! ❤

I think the fortunes of both the Browns organization and Joe Flacco benefited greatly from timing. Cleveland is obviously a well coached and talented team, and Joe, I believe, is healthy for the first time in a long time. I haven't seen Flacco this mobile and accurate in forever and this could be just the beginning.

Joe became a Browns Legend in 3 Months after being Public Enemy #1 on a team that was the product of the Browns being stolen from the city of Cleveland. Not moved from, stolen. To quote Quincy Carrier, "Art Model did the crime but did none of the crime." The city of Cleveland did 17 years for financial mismanagement and for Joe Flacco to come to Cleveland and march a broken and busted team into the playoffs after years of reactivation pains, and mediocrity, and watching awful decisions in the draft is absolutely Karma. This city will build this man a statue if we win it all.

Hey, he's not lying. There were a ton of people on the Browns Reddit suggesting we sign a vet like Flacco, me being one of them. The same day Watson went down, I even made a post myself talking about trying to bring someone like Flacco, Hoyer, or any vet who had been there, done that. Amongst people who really follow the team closely, that's definitely been a talking point since the moment Warson went down. I don't know why that's so hard for you to believe that someone could possibly have thought "lets sign Flacco!" It's not like he's saying he predicted the outcome of some hugely complex equation or something...come on man.
Well I wanted no part of Flacco. I wanted them to get Wentz until he got snagged up. It defied logic based on how they built this team and the type of offense we was running.

You gotta remember, people always make excuses for Lamar never having enough weapons. Flacco has always dealt with the same thing but never got the benefit of the doubt. As a Ravens fan I’m not surprised by this “resurgence” at all given the weapons the Browns have.

Or a 35 year old Steve Smith Sr... Look they all had there moments but none were even top 25 in the league outside of Steve Smith's first season with us. Amari Cooper and David Njoku are by far the best weapons he's ever had.

Also announcers and people need to stop saying Joe Flacco bad for 10 years he wasn't bad I went back and found a bunch of games the teams he was on were really bad I mean he threw perfect balls to receivers on Denver and New York that they just point out drop the ball or they tipped it in the air and it got intercepted and honestly even this year and those years 70% of the interceptions are not his fault receivers and ran the wrong route or the ball was tipped in the air but right away they want to pin it on Flacco like he's a bad quarterback I think he's going to surprise a lot of people in the playoffs and put up really good numbers with wins

I'm a 43yo ravens fan and I still liove Flacco. He was a great QB and a great professional. When we drafted him I think 08 he came right into a winning well built team and ran with it. He got a little lazy years later after winning the superbowl but I am glad that he has that fire lit under him again and is taking advantage of his opportunity. Much luck Joe and I hope to see you and the Browns in Baltimore for the championship game. May the best team win.
This is just not true. He didn't get lazy at all. After the Superbowl, the ravens got rid of his best target and Pitta got hurt. In 2014, when we got SSSr, we could've made another Superbowl, but the defense collapsed against the Patriots, giving up two separate 14 point leads. The following seasons Joe had a back and knee injury that took all his mobility away and turned him into a statue behind shaky oline play after the best offensive coordinator we ever had left. Joe was never lazy. He may have not been the best, but lazy is not the word. Now he's healthy, has weapons and a good offensive coordinator that plays to his strength. He's doing what he always could do.
@iThirtySeven37 go watch the tapes. You'll see alot of him not stepping into his throws or not setting his feet or missinga RB out of the back field. The Ravens didn't draft a new QB for nothing. Just like all you Browns fans or any fans who know the game complain when your QB's sucked it up on the field, B-more fans were doing the same thing after his superbowl run and even the organization saw it. Why do you think Lamr was drafted because Joe played great 🤣. C'mon man. Like I said, I love Joe, he is a great guy and it is good seeing him play winning ball again. Joe Flacco came to my Panera store back in spring 2018… came in, Tall dude. Definitely noticeable but looked familiar. Looked at our screen and last name was Flacco. I introduced myself, told him I was a Ravens fan. That I had went to school with his younger brother Tom.
He was kind, not in rush. Listened, wasnt on his phone but a genuine dude. I was able to ask him, who did he think the Ravens would draft that year… I was thinking OL or Receiver honestly.
That was the draft the Ravens selected Lamar… ever since Lamar took over, we havent looked back.

Good guy. I always enjoyed watching him throw. I was a big ravens fan. I watched every games since 98. 2012 was the best season ever. Witch is crazy he could easily have 3rings or more. They didn’t get a kicker intill 2012 season. Just lost respect for the ravens. Joe was always elite. I seen the film. It was the pieces!

The truth to be told, is that Joe Flacco saved this Cleveland Browns team💯. Watson wasn't doing it and neither was PJ Walker or the rookie DTR. Unfortunately, the offense isn't the problem, it's the defensive backfield that needs to step up, and lean how to tackle. This whole year the Professional Analyst have praised the defense, well they shld have been praising the defensive line. The backfield and LBers need help. As a fan I wish I was wrong, but it's the truth. Newsome isn't the answer, and JOK gets a pass, bc he's the best LB we have. Missed tackles and assignments will be the demise.
