- This is my HOME! And here the reason why I love this place! Flying you thru this beautiful bay in Mexico Caribbean ocean, fly fishing chasing species!. The most beautiful bay in the riviera maya! I would say the Grand slam swims in these waters!
As native of the area I take every single moment to go and fish the salt in my front yard 🎣🎣🎣..
*I just changed the name of the channel to (the mikel fishtory) same name as my Instagram, I think this channel its all about my adventures, fishing, vlog, fly tying , tips and tricks so I felt that this name fits better for it.

how big do the jacks and snook get around these parts?
It is 😍.. I would say jacks up 25 - 30 Lb, and same for the snooks maybe a bit bigger.🙌🏽🎣

Great video which month did you film this
I was at a resort north of Cancun by about 20 miles last year, kind of adjacent to Isla Mujeres. Caught a bunch of fish from the beach and off a dock. I am headed to Playa Del Carmen next week, bringing my fly rod, hoping to have more fun. Looks like you have it down!
Very soothing video , it snowed last night at my house in the Madison Range in Montana . Beauty is relative the mountains in the morning with the sun coming up is just spectacular. On the other hand The ocean sunrise is also and this time of year it’s warm and has Permit and bones swimming around . Make the COVID-19 go away and we will be there to share a beer and tell stories.

Well I am in playa del Carmen from the next 5 months. Been to Cozumel and Tulum beaches. This one at beginning looks nicest. Of course all beaches are deserted now. Well there are a few people out.

We where in Tulum (Caleta Tankah) for the second time this Christmas and I actually think we meet you on the beach together with a couple of Americans and I think your where on your way to Chamicos after a day of fishing.
Anyhow we had a great time and extrealmly good fishing, we just love the area and will be back next year. Would be great fishing with you one day and exhange some fishing stories !

Mikel did you know there is a blowhole in the rocks about 200 meters south of the abandoned dock of the destroyed resort. Funny they never rebuilt it.

Hola Mariano, gracias!! Si, es buenísimo! (Go pro karma) . En realidad es la Gopro que graba en (perfil plano)(flat), y pues edito un poco el color y tonos en post.
En si el video original es precioso! ver la calidad y resolución, una lástima que RUclips aún no me codifica a una mejor resolución!
Pronto llegará ese día de poder ver mis videos tal cual los edito y subo! conforme el tráfico de views y subs llegara.😄
Por el momento pierdo un 40% aprox de calidad por la compresión de RUclips, aunque sea poco pero pues se ve algo!😁

Si claro, la compresion es fatal, es el mp3 de los musicos, te mata gran parte del trabajo, pero animo que se ven barbaro los videos ! gracias por el dato del drone, ando buscando uno y no decido (y estan carisimos tambien) un gran abrazo !
Black's Channel deberías comprar uno usado un mavic, spark, modelos pasados.
Ahora todos quieren los drones modernos como al dji mini.
Así que uno usado que grabe en perfil (flat) hará la diferencia en calidad de video!
Lo voy a tener en cuenta, no necesito uno nuevo, solo uno que grabe bien, pero aca los usados estan muy cercanos en precio a los nuevos y no hay mucho mercado tampoco, o sea que no hay mucho para elegir, pero como no tengo apuro me voy a tomar mi tiempo y hacer una buena eleccion, abrazo y que sigan esos videos !

About the gear supply, there’s no fly shops in the area, I usually buy everything online from USA! Quite hard cuz then it’s not what you were expecting in quality or so.
Rods and reels are always what you ordered if you know the model that fit your style.
So keep learning and get your stuff ready,
