Dear Mr MatoJelic, You are truly a god sent angel to the world of chess training more particularly for ROTGUTS like me who doesn't know a horse from a donkey where chess is concerned (barring rules and pieces movements). I have just started off learning the game through your videos at the age of 60 to bide my retirement time. Hope to reach some level in next 1-2 years. Thank you for the video training. Profound regardxs LBV PRASAD / Mr
Happy to see more Tal videos by Mato. clearly he's the best in narrating Tal's games. We all know Suren and agadmator copy Mato but only Mato can deliver it more interesting and exciting to watch!
Lo entiendo claro sin hablar tu idioma Mato, explicas bien las variantes. Hablas correctamente el idioma universal del ajedrez. Felicitaciones, buen video!
Thanks. Interesting facts: Flesh János claimed world record when he played against 52 players in a simultaneous exhibition blindfolded. And also he played draw once with the great Tall
You're not supposed to trade pieces when your opponent has more pieces. If knight to g7, black king to e7, knight takes black queen, black bishop takes knight. I'm sure it would have made no difference to this game's outcome anyway.
The fork is king & queen. Black bishop has to recapture knight after knight takes queen, white queen takes bishop . No one said queen & bishop fork, so if you read it that way that's your problem. I'm also aware that the continuation was Mato's. My comment was asking Mato if there was was a reason he chose to follow up with Qh8+ rather than go for the queen winning fork.
Majed Al Shamsi no, the saying goes along this line "when up in material advantage, you can trade down to simplify the game". In this case, Tal could fork the King & Queen with his knight, which would lead to a Mate in few moves with Queen & Rook. But Tal is Tal, so he chose the spectacular Winning way :D
This video is very helpful but I need subtitles for your upcoming videos...because your pronunciation is different..subtitles will be helpful for other country peoples
I would have love to see a game between Tal and Magnus. from such a game I think if Tal wanted to be persistent with his "style" he'd have to take his game to a whole different level:)
6:39 I guess capturing the bishop with the other rook would've been better, because then at 7:48, the black rook would not be on e4 for white to pick up with that fork.
But this man don't resign yet? It's not like I want him to resign but he made a video saying he was resigning and that it was his last video. Like we were suppose to cry or something.
i actualy found a move and played against stokfish8 from that position , he manged to save the queen, i was barely able to win cuz my c pawn became a pass pawn and i got second queen i think after Nd5-e7 stokfish played Rd3-d5
Krishna Mohan Tal's speculative sacrifices often times does not work against top players. for example Classical games: Viktor Korchnoi beat Mikhail Tal 13 to 4, with 27 draws.
Jerome Tan Yes. That is true, but that only makes him greater in my eyes. No other player would take such risks to see the beauty in the game. While Tal seeked beauty others seeked winnings more than anything else. I'm not chess history expert but isn't this true?
Jerome Tan yes. That is precisely why he should be given more credit. It feels like he wanted to see the beauty in the game more than winning. Win or lose play risky. Someone with that attitude going on to win the world championship is a huge huge thing.
Krishna Mohan He is given credit. He is considered as a great attacking player. But in terms of greatness/being best, players like Kasparov,Karpov,Carlsen,Fischer,Capablanca,Lasker etc is ahead of Tal. Tal cares about winning, he even has a trainer, but his style is agreesive.
Jerome Tan Tal participated in a tournament with all the great players and went undefeated . Tal has the longest winning streak of all time .. Tal won the world championship against Botvinic the great player The problem with tal is that he has health issues and he died very young due to that He was 53 years old and he looked like 100 because he used to go to hospital even during the tournaments

A Tal video with Mato's commentary! Nothing better than that! My favourite chess player of all time.
And my favourite chess commentator of all time.
h3 move was totally super Grandmaster stuff.
Awesome game and brilliant commentary!
I also sacrifice 9 pawns to win a game, learned that from Tal.
mascaltzone7 I sacrifice my wife to win games
mascaltzone7 pff, I sacrificed my King to win the game
mascaltzone7 I sacrificed my loosing position and took my opponents winning pieces to win the Game.
Lol I just realised that this was a joke. There are only 8 pawns on the board
I too sacrifice your soul to win games.
Tal is my favorite... love his games.
Thank you Mato.
Much talent in Mikhail Tal makes his brain sharp.
I don't think that the first time I am seeing the match between Mikhail Tal and Janos Flesch.
classic Mato delivery with Aesop fable reference!
Loving the Tal games, a true mastermind! Keep up the good work!
The mountain shook and a mouse was born is a funny saying. Nice translation to English
tal is officially my favorite player

You are the best Mato!!!!
tal games are back yay.
Please Mato, can you explian the last game from kasparov, vs Karjakin in the St. Louis?
Thanks. Interesting facts: Flesh János claimed world record when he played against 52 players in a simultaneous exhibition blindfolded. And also he played draw once with the great Tall
Tal created beautiful and deadly knight dances. He is truly one of a genius chess conductors ever
@ 5:07 was there a problem with the knight g7 fork, winning the queen & bishop in exchange for knight?
You're not supposed to trade pieces when your opponent has more pieces. If knight to g7, black king to e7, knight takes black queen, black bishop takes knight.

Nice job by black. He put up a good fight.

Para mí siempre será el mejor....era un mounstruo....
Amazing and instructive game.
Hi this is Mato hahahaha I love it!
Thanks
mato is the best chess commentator. no doubt about it.
Lesson to be learned here. If Tal offers a piece, DON'T TAKE IT!
I always sacrifice every piece to win..even my king. But it’s doesn’t work ☹️ i want to learn chess like u Matto

"The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." Nice one from the bible
And funny because of his name, Flesch :_)
I want to get those book. Can you carry it to Vietnam by airway.
Paul keres vs Tal
tal was so advanced he would sac a rook in the exchange for a minor piece and a pawn early. genius
No one ever could find what's in DVD......
Because it was too expensive
i actualy found a move and played against stokfish8 from that position , he manged to save the queen, i was barely able to win cuz my c pawn became a pass pawn and i got second queen i think after Nd5-e7 stokfish played Rd3-d5
What is inside skull of tal?
A king.
A brain larger than life
MATO YOU ARE A GOD
5:25 Bxe6 is not better?
It will forever be a mystery lol😂😂😂
The battle between Flesh and Blood...thirsty killer.
Archangel meets Jupiter
LOL the spirit is willing...
I just realised I play like Tal...but I lose
Wow... Tal again...
h6...asking bishop a question...
There must have been a terrible experience to play with Tal.
*Tal is the only player who WON most matches playing with white pieces.*
Tal’s genius is obvious.
Its called "Tal sacrifice chess engine...."
your videos are the best kind of ads
psychoanalysts should gather from all over and study Tal's mind.
Lesson #1 in chess: They're called knights, not horses Lesson #2 in chess: If you're playing against Tal, don't accept his sacs!
....and black resigned 👓
i try to imitate tal but it is so hard
Fletch creeping
Lol.you got me
Can we see some of Tal losing
Tal is God.

its LVIV, not LVOV mr. mato.
Joelrocks Lvov is the russian name
Czegenyi Raymond Lvov was albo a Polish name - it used to belong to Poland before 1939.
to be precise, the Polish name is Lwów, not Lvov. And it's better to say Lviv, just like the city is called now.
