Enjoying a fine Earl Grey Tea with some choice tea biscuits while watching a chess game analysis with the wonderful soothing voice of Mato. Life doesn't get much better.
I always thought Chess is a game of pure logic and thinking but seeing Tal i think its more like a poetry!! What imagination does this man have got??? Brilliant
Mato , Mato you are the man, can't get enough of you. Great analysis. I am exhausted after few games but it goes on and on and on......the next day. Thank you from sunny Florida. I am fishing tomorrow, but I get some of you first thing in the morning to wake up my brain.
Imagine you´ve been told: "Tomorrow you play with Mikhail Tal". What a night!

I guessed 2/3 moves ! The second one I thought about it, but told myself that it was a bit too risky and went for Qh4, but this in-between move is definetly not Tal's style. He's my favorite chess player, along with Nejmetdinov (who coached him at one point).
Thanks a bunch for all your great videos. The first move of Tal's combinaison was easy to find. But the following firework was awful ! We have the impression that Tal's combinaison comes of nowhere ! He's the only one doing such combinaison. He's my favorite chess player.
A GM speaking about Alekhine stated some to the effect of, the combinations I understand well enough. It's how they flow from "ordinary" positions that amaze me. Tal vs. Alekhine would have been a VERY interesting matchup. Eli D.
***** Actually I analized it with my chess program deep rypka 2.3.2a and it suggested simple defence pawn H5 (duh) And other thing to mention is that my program didnt play as Gugenidze Qxe5 - instead after Rxh7 it plays Bg7
Instead of crazy Tal attack 21. Rxh7 when you paused the video I saw 21. Qh4 h5 22. Bf6 NxB 23.pxB c5 (getting ready to check K) 24. Qg5 Qc6+ 25. g3 c4 26. Rxh5 (g6 pawn is pinned) followed by Bxg6 and mate next move.More cautious. I think most of Black's moves in that line are forced but I might have overlooked something.
In trying to guess a Tal move, even when one knows it's probably a sacrifice, it's still hard to find the move. Both players no doubt drank a lot of vodka after this masterpiece.
At the decisive point 8' 12'' Rd7 is surely the most elegant finish but the straight forward Rxf8+ wins easily as well. If -- Kxf8 then Qf4+ and if Bxf8 then Bd8+.
It doesn't really matter as white is far superior, but Qd8+ allows Bf8 which I think gives the black queen way more space than in the original position.
Whenever mato says " Mikhail tal had white pieces..." you can bet that the magician from riga had some splendid tricks under his sleeves,,..and of couse will win
Mato u have a lot from tal but the best chess game ever played in history u dont have i check almost all ur games but tal vs koblens 1957 is not to ur archive

did with morning coffee, same thing, mato in the mornings for a shot of logic
Delightful. Sheer pleasure.
+Scott Rackley YES!
Everytime i have to pause for a move i look for sacrifices in Tal games.
I always thought Chess is a game of pure logic and thinking but seeing Tal i think its more like a poetry!! What imagination does this man have got??? Brilliant
Thank you Mato for another Tal video. Tal is the Maradona of chess, brilliant and unpredictable.
Joey P oh a brilliancy..............lmgo
Joey P except Tal doesn't cheat
How the hell you cheat in football??
maybe, but cocaine aint steroids.
yeah it seems
The combination of a Tal’s special and Mato’s commentary is something to die for.

I love Tal, and his ever-aggressive, ferocious playing style!
Thanks Mato, another great game commentary. I guessed most of the moves, but it's a lot easier when you know there are moves to be guessed.
Gurgenidze showed great restraint with all of Tal's sacrifice attempts. Tal dominated anyway.
Gurgenidze tried his best but tal is tal.... He shows the Beauty of chess...
One of my favorit chess player is Mikhail Tal....Thanks Mato greatings from indonesia
thnx Mato you couldnt be thanked enough for your choice of games and excelent presentation!
I really enjoyed this game. I've learnt a lot from Tal, I find my self often using his offensive strategies in my chess games.
Thanks for making this videos Mato! they are very helpful and also very entertaining to watch
baap game bhava!!!! Спасибо. Любил смотреть это.
Good Lord, to play with Tal must have been a nightmare!
Great game, weird that I was playing through this last night (in 'complete games of Tal 68-73') and this morning, here's your excellent video. :D
So many sacrifice chances.....
Gurenidze was very patient against Tal. Great game
Tal was so brilliant. I loves me some Mato-commentated Tal games.
Tal games are always umbelievable!
Great work, my friend, have a wonderful day.

My mistake, it was same players but opposte color, played in 1957 :) thanks Mato for your awesome work for chess!
we would like to see more tal videos from you mato...plz
"this rook is berserk"
Thanks..Crazy Tal game as usual!!
For me, seeing the tactics are easy WHEN THEY'RE THERE. But it's positioning your pieces to have a flow of tactics which is hard! Tal was a genius.
U deserve more subscribers
Nevertheless: astonishing defence by Gurgenidze!
I guessed both rocks moves and the last one before he had resigned. little bit of progress:)
Wow! Amazing. I guessed 0.
+john smith When in doubt trying to guess Tal's next move, sacrifice something or move the pawns away from your king!
What about move 16. Rh6 and checkmate next on Qg7
Thanks a bunch for all your great videos. The first move of Tal's combinaison was easy to find. But the following firework was awful ! We have the impression that Tal's combinaison comes of nowhere ! He's the only one doing such combinaison. He's my favorite chess player.

Hi Mato
Tall has taught us the chess is the art of scarification!
hi
8:43 in why not Rf7?
Hm have u met tal before?
at 4:55 when we need to find move whats wrong with Qh4?
*****
Actually I analized it with my chess program deep rypka 2.3.2a and it suggested simple defence pawn H5 (duh)
And other thing to mention is that my program didnt play as Gugenidze Qxe5 - instead after Rxh7 it plays Bg7
Zorroborro Why is not the Tal style: ]
I can't believe such beautiful minds have existed
After having watched several Mato's Tal videos, it is easy to guess the next move R x h7. But R x F7 is something really bizarre.
Hey Mato!Nice work. Can you make videos about Wei Yi?He is very good too I believe(not like Tal,but..he is only 15)
34 Bg6 could be an excellant move ?
Que brillante era este jugador....
the bullets that are coming from tal sides is everywhere!! haha
I did not expect that rook sacrifice, twice!
U put the same video in 2012 or im mistaking?
Great fun, thanks
Instead of 34. Rd7, wasn't 34. Rxf8 also good?
34. Rxf8+ Bxf8 35. Bf7+ Qg7 36. Qxg7+ Bxg7 37. Bxc7 (34....Kxf8 35. Qf4+ Kg8 (35...Ke8 36. Bc6+ Kf8 37. Qf4+ Kg8 38. Qxc7) 36. Qxc7)
Tal tried to sacrifice the rook on move 21, and got the win on move 34...so did he see the win that far?
Tal's pieces have so much energies... :P :P :P
paul morphy, emanuel lasker,Rashid nezmedinov, mikhail tal, the true attacking players....they show the beauty of chess
What about rook to h5 at 5:12
+shobhit sharma except Black doesn't have to capture Rook, and then it is sitting on h5 doing nothing
But the second one was too hard to find.
i guessed the move ! woohoo Tal's style is awesome :) makes me play so aggressive looking to sacrifice even my king !
+Apostol Victor sacrifice your King lol like put yourself in checkmate in order to checkmate :D
Espectacular
Brilliant game!
"There are to kinds of sacrifices. Correct ones and mine!" (M. Tal)
In trying to guess a Tal move, even when one knows it's probably a sacrifice, it's still hard to find the move. Both players no doubt drank a lot of vodka after this masterpiece.
7:28 how about rd7 here
Qxc6 forking the rook and the king.
Tnks!!!!!
At the decisive point 8' 12'' Rd7 is surely the most elegant finish but the straight forward Rxf8+ wins easily as well. If -- Kxf8 then Qf4+ and if Bxf8 then Bd8+.
i didn't guess 21.Rxh7, no chance i was going to guess the continuing moves heh
What an attack!! By Mikhail Tal.
I dont understand Tal's sacrifices sometimes...
Pontius Pilate thats y he is the greastest attacker of all time....;)
Poor Gurgenidze! Tal was able to harass him to death. Have you ever seen one player cause so many problems for the other?!
Magic. But reason-based magic.
Tal the beast !
I guessed that move after 1 minute of thinking.
"..and where is 1968?.."
I was able to guess the first move only...
TAL is the greatest of all time
Tal is nuts but also genius.
once again, I predicted all Tal's killa moves at first try. Me and Tal have similar style
MrJoeljoy haa haaa show as one of your games....I am just curious :D
annasvilks screw you, i dont need your approval.
Tal the greatest. I love Tal.
i can guess all the tal's moves even im still a beginner hehehee.. not too hard to predict
I guessed it because I know it's Tal playing
Tal was a super genius!
MATO: Tal to move. See if you can guess the next move. ME: Haha, good one, Mato.
I agree, guessing Tal's moves is like predicting dice.
OMG..this is brutal
I guessed it, but looking over Tals shoulder, it's easy. ...
At final position white pieces formed a totem :D
good one
Actually i abled to guess some of the moves of tal... Damn xD
. Even if just was a guess i am feeling like tal 😁
"Rae1"?? from Tal in the middle of an attack? lol didn't consider that for a sec. "Tal's (what?) had so much energy..."
Tal's 'pieces' had so much energy
Oh my goodness but doesnt Mato make game analysis fun!!
pure magic
At the end of the video it's better to play Qd8+ instead of taking the rook immediately.
It doesn't really matter as white is far superior, but Qd8+ allows Bf8 which I think gives the black queen way more space than in the original position.
Those were the days when chess was chess
Whenever mato says " Mikhail tal had white pieces..." you can bet that the magician from riga had some splendid tricks under his sleeves,,..and of couse will win
Awesome game
tall was a monster not a player :D how he can do this :D
Tal is the Greatest Master of chess.....
100K for Tal the GOAT
Gugunitze... game over :D
Mato u have a lot from tal but the best chess game ever played in history u dont have i check almost all ur games but tal vs koblens 1957 is not to ur archive
Did you check well?
Check this: ruclips.net/video/hDSZrajTYME/видео.html
8:17 - I find Rd1 winning the queen
kojotus3000 but after Kf7 Rd7 white also win first knight and the game
All hail mato

MatoJelic Greedy ... ☺
I usually guess Tal's moves better than this. I really stunk in this game.
