That was such a heart-stoppingly brilliant game by Tal. I can imagine his opponents soiling their pants even at his first move. Then they get a moment of hope - only to have it dashed by a crushing hamner blow!
I love your commentaries ! Played some chess in high school then only an occasional game in the last 40 years or so .I am glad I found your channel . At first your deep voice sounded kind of sinister to me , like Boris Karlof, then I saw your face , the glow in your eyes , and the warm smile ! Thank you for sharing these masterfull games !
I remember a few years ago the beginnings of this channel when it had about 800 subscribers or so. The analysis was and still is very entertaining to watch. You go mr. Jelic !
Dear Mato, My 63 year old father is a very big fan of yours, even I am. We admire your work and wanted to wish you the very best in life ahead. Excellent content, soothing voice. Thanks :)
I'm happy that you exist. I like your videos so much. Can you make a (another) video for Bobby fischer? He is my favourite chess player. Keep going Mato. You are the best!!!!!
everytime the video is about to finish i repeat: and that is all. i hope that you enjoyed watching this video. i wish you good luck at your chess and bye for now. :) love your videos mato.
Thanks a lot Mato , another great video from you . I have a doubt .After the move where the white queen takes the black knight .If the black rook is pushed to e8 , Would black have the upper hand in the game ?
At 7:12 Tal could offer his rock by moving it to d7 then if black eats his rock by moving to rock d7 then Tal could check with queen e6 then black wouldnt find any way to stop check mate. Or if he doesnt eat the rock then Tal could win rock for free...
The way Tal play is uncompromisable and always to the most ambitious path. He'll force the position forward without ever turning back. You can tell that he's not afraid of the dangers and losing. That's the way I play.
Mato, I want a quick advice: I like Tal and Nezhmetdinov, hate playing defensive and want to become more and more aggressive. ANY input, material or idea serves to continue. Book suggestions? Videos suggestions? Even one of yours IF I overlooked it? Anything will serve as an advice. PleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePleasePlease?!?
Mr. Jelic, you are a nice man and I love to watch the chess games but to be honest, when you smile it really scares me!!! But I'll keep watching your channel anyway, I will just close my eyes when you smile.
TheHorrorGamer Simionato he lost many games bcz of his agressive style. Botvinik, fischer and nezhmetdinov had defeated tal many times. But yes tal was a genius n if he could have played defensively along with attacking style, he would have become world champion many times. He just won world championship title once in 1960 against Botvinik and again lost title to botvinik in 1961. But his attacking game really gives all of us fun n magic. He was often known to be magician ftom riga.
Hmmm I don't disagree that Talj lost games, but check his record and you will see that He is one of few that have Positive + score vs The GOAT Bobby Fischer. p.s. Mato thank you, od sve srce, pozdrav, Kumanovo, Macedonia. win or learn :>
Those channels keep coming up on my feed and I made the mistake of clicking on them once. i learned my lesson - they're not a patch on Mato, and I haven't gone back.
Jesus Christ died for your sins on a cross and rose again after three days. You have committed evil deeds, as we all have done. God is a just judge, and must punish you for these sins, because he is perfect by his nature. But God loves you, does not want to punish you. This is why God took the form of a man, Jesus Christ, and died as a sacrifice for your sins on a cross. He was punished for your sins, so that you could be made righteous in God's sight. After three days, Jesus rose again, because it is impossible for him to have been held down by death. This is great news! Repent, (that is, change your mind,) and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and be saved from the judgement of God. God will reward you for your faith with eternal life, and forgiveness for your deeds. I sin, and you sin, and we both will continue to sin, but Jesus Christ died for these sins, and God is willing to forgive them. Repent, and believe the Gospel.
Tal's games never fail to captivate and Mato's lessons never fail to enlighten us. What a partnership!
I'm a simple man, I see Tal i click.
That was such a heart-stoppingly brilliant game by Tal. I can imagine his opponents soiling their pants even at his first move. Then they get a moment of hope - only to have it dashed by a crushing hamner blow!
One thing I love about Mato's chess channel: Short but Very Insightful! Other chess channels are too long.

"And there is another problem for Black, one that cannot be seen just by looking at the board"
"Tal is playing White"
my thoughts as well haha
I remember a few years ago the beginnings of this channel when it had about 800 subscribers or so. The analysis was and still is very entertaining to watch. You go mr. Jelic !
Whenever I get into trouble, I think, "what would tal do? "
Dear Mato, My 63 year old father is a very big fan of yours, even I am. We admire your work and wanted to wish you the very best in life ahead. Excellent content, soothing voice. Thanks :)
On timeline 5:45 Tal had forced checkmate in 2 moves. Pawn H7, knight is forced to take the pawn H7. Checkmate wit rook F8
Best chess channel.
Thank you
@@MatoJelic Literally NO ONE else keeps it as succinct as you. This video would've been 40 min on GothamChess.

Fantastic play sir,
Finely illustrated.
Mato, thanks a lot Sir!!
haha I found the killer move! and also it was quite a performance by Tal, I've already liked the video! Thanks for the upload Mato!
Thank you Mato for another of Tal gems, it was bewildering and mesmerizing, like walking the plank. I like Tal just as much as I like you Mato.
Tal is the original thinker outside the chess box !
Multiple sacrifice victory by Tal and good demonstration by Mato. Thank you Mato.
not even one move !!!! thanks so much Mato
sensational comeback moves from Tal,
I'm happy that you exist. I like your videos so much. Can you make a (another) video for Bobby fischer? He is my favourite chess player. Keep going Mato. You are the best!!!!!
The boldest of attacks,by the boldest of players.
Era un verdadero genio....poesía hecha ajedrez.....siempre será para mí el mejor ...
Thank u for your precious comments, dear Mato. Greetings from Mali Losinj!
What a magical queen sacrifice then getting back queen instantly and checkmate, even the smartest machine wouldnt expect what Tal can do next
everytime the video is about to finish i repeat: and that is all. i hope that you enjoyed watching this video. i wish you good luck at your chess and bye for now. :) love your videos mato.
Mato 😍 the best commentator of Al time
Thank you
Great attack and great style, making the opponent fall into time trouble by creating tons of threads.
Wonderful game thank you
Thanks a lot Mato , another great video from you . I have a doubt .After the move where the white queen takes the black knight .If the black rook is pushed to e8 , Would black have the upper hand in the game ?
I loved his smile
What recovery capacity had Tal. Bravo!!!
In this game tal had a bag of secrifices and he did one after one .moreover i thought that tal did not won
Brilliant game!

Tal had the ability to make it easier for these players to go into retirement
Thank you. Mato.

The King Hunt is coming soon. You will love it. Please check this page: chessschool.com.au/the-king-hunt/
very very brave game by Tal
I found the first 2 moves but not the last one. good game
Mr. Jelic, you are a nice man and I love to watch the chess games but to be honest, when you smile it really scares me!!! But I'll keep watching your channel anyway, I will just close my eyes when you smile.
So true. Great comment. But to give him credit: he really looks like a friendly psychpath when smiling. Besides, I like his channel
7:10 Rd7 is it good? If Rxd7 then Qe6+
I've started playing like tal but I still lose. Which means only tal can play like tal.
That is true
i like this game.thank u mato.
this endgame is fantastic
In 1:21 black can easily win a pawn. But black don't go for it. why?
I found all tal moves but I can't find moves like that in my game so sad
prasanth t It is easy to find killer moves if you know they're there
it's not easy, but it makes much easier
Classical Liberal ya u r right
Very good game after long time :) thanks Mato..
In addition to what others have written, it's not just about seeing the killer moves, it's also about setting up your opponent for these killer moves.
hi mato, why not after white knight h4 , black knight takes e 4?
thx, peter
Well,at least I guessed the last one!
I wonder when Tal knew he had it all figured out (one possible answer : before the game started ! )
I saw the Q×e4 like move! Tal played a move, and his opponent resigned! LOL!
That knight psyche-out, though.
At 5.50 after Ra7 doesnt h7+ win immediately atter Nxh7 Rf8 mate
Nope NxRf8
Not sure how Tal effected such mates... Was it just intuitive or calculated....almost like magic...!!!
I guesses like 5 moves but I re watch your Tal videos so I'm not sure if it was due to memory or me getting better :(
great video
In my opinion Pasman could try to exchange his Queen with Tal's while having extra materials.
mato, i m fan of ur commentary
is tal a god of chess (aggressive)?
Lord Tal is a very agressive player...He is an expert in smothered mates... personally,I see Paul Murphy as my idol in chess.
great game
Did Tal ever lose a game?

It only looks like a comeback.
Tal always found the impossible moves! His eyes and mind were in perfect coordination.
If 44. Ke4 then
Qd3#
If black plays 44 ... Ke4 ? 45 Qd3 ++ , and black extends his right hand .
I guessed all moves 💪👊🙂
El Mago de Riga!! Bravo!
"Hi this is MATO, in this video"
Think I only guessed one move!
True magician ....tal
Every game i sacrifice like tal but losses every match....
😮wow
Mikhail tal is crazy

Those channels keep coming up on my feed and I made the mistake of clicking on them once. i learned my lesson - they're not a patch on Mato, and I haven't gone back.
Who else guessed Rd3 and Qxe4 ? :》
I found all the moves
🤯
Wow.
Rook takes rook takes rook takes rook
Good dialogue. To be able to retain humour in the midst of mind-numbing moves by the great TAL is something superlative.
Smile at the end by mato worth millions of dollars
Pasman lost because he was only two pieces up against Misha. Not enough.
I guess 3
pawn take f3
