- Hello there, since the majority of the pre-games will focus on District 6, the reaping montage shall not be featured in the movie. However, I wanted to post it separately for those who want to see it.

I love these characters so much! I am rooting for Andrea because idk something tells me she volunteered to save someone idk it’s just the look in her eyes? She’s not moving her eyes around to look at the crowd and not moving at all.
You are correct. She volunteered for her sister. I don't think many outlier volunteers actually want to be in the Games, but saving a relative, a friend, or a lover is probably the most common reason why they volunteer.
Not me rooting for Gwenith. She had that main character glare at the reaping, we love that
I mean, she was reaped along with the guy who dumped her. I would be annoyed too if I were her.

I can't get this comment out of my head. I'm inclined to agree with you and I think she will make it pretty far if she doesn't win.
Adair has caught my attention by being reaped and not volunteering, which shows that District 4 is the least affected by the Capitol brain washing. Ryland and Gwen's relationship must be strained Since they cut before the harvest the previous year plus Ryland saw Barley being a victim of the games. I love those doses of humanity and depth that the vast majority of taxes it has. Will it be a movie or in episodes? Good luck with the project, it will be as good or even better than the 43rd
Yeah, my theory is that, unlike districts 1 and 2, 4 does not have volunteers all the time.

I'm not quite sure because I don't have any canon information, but I don't think they did. Finnick was just 14 and most volunteers are older, and Annie was traumatised by her games so I doubt she wanted to be there in the first place, but her volunteering and being traumatised after that is a possibility too.
@@cyraelin4950 I agree with your hypothesis that Annie was reaped, which makes me wonder why no one volunteered that year. Maybe District 4 was worried the other careers wouldn't let them win after Finnick's victory. I wouldn't be surprised if he volunteered, but anything is possible.
@@ComedyPlasticNo, you see how Jewel changed after her victory, yeah, I think that’s what happened to Annie, she probably went in excited for the games, but after the beheading of her District Partner she well became, y’know…
I can't wait to see this Hunger Games Sims movie. I’m so excited to see this so much. Rooting for Heilco, Andrea, Garrick, Gwenith, Ryland, Rosamund, and Furrow.

Really nice job, I love how we can see some of the mentors like Beetee, Seeder, Ginny (42nd), Jewel (43rd) and if im not wrong maybe also the tributes from 75th hunger games like the district 5 male on the left and the district 9 female on the left. So if my theory is correct that would mean the mentors are on the left and the mayor is on the right but thats just my theory. As for the victor prediction i think Ryland will and he might be the district 9 male tribute in the 75th. And also i really appreciate the time you put in this and im looking forward to watch your movie🙂

I absolutely loved the 43rd games, and was astounded by such intricate storytelling from a RUclipsr (I hope that does not sound condescending, it’s meant as the highest of compliments!!). It was incredible! Do you know of when-ish it will be out? I’m so excited, but I don’t want to stress you, I’m sure it must be a long process.
Thank you so much! Honestly, I wanted to be a writer for a long time and I also love cinema so I thought I could combine both hobbies in one with these projects. As for the 44th, I am currently halfway through the Games. I am hoping to release it by mid February, but I am not sure yet because it's still too early to give a concrete date. Rest assured that I will make an announcement when I am ready.
@@cyraelin4950 I can tell! I especially loved how a lot of the characters subverted expectations, and I ended up liking a lot of the characters I did not care about or just straight up hated to begin with. Again, great storytelling!
And take your time with the movie, it'll be great so it's definitely worth the wait!

Nope. I think Glimmer and Cashmere's being blonde as well as the association with luxury created that trend, but seeing as districts tend to have certain features (like 11 being majority black and 12 having the merchant class and the Seam), I can believe it.

She could be. It wasn't intentional, that's for sure, because Rosie is an old sim that I made for John's games, and I ended up reusing.

I had to admit that it is a pretty funny detail that the man from District 8 (the one sitting) is red-haired because in my HGs the male tribute is also red-haired.
Oh, cool. It was just a coincidence, though. He is supposed to be the mayor, but he does not have any lines.

I have a piece of advice for; I think it would be better if you did not use music during the bloodbath scene on the first day of the games. If you've watched the ballad of songbirds and snakes, you'll know what I mean. I think that if we only hear the struggle screams of the tributes, their shouts and screams, and the sounds of the weapons they use to kill each other in the bloodbath, everyone will understand and feel the horror and terrible atmosphere of the hunger games much better. Everyone will see better how wild and deadly these games are. I hope I could explain.
Thanks for the suggestion. I can try it out, but it will be a bit more complicated because there aren't many screaming sound effects and the ones we have in the Sims are exaggerated to the point of being comical at times which might not fit the serious tone very well. I will keep that in mind, though.

That will be difficult. For every bonus scene that I make, I lose one day that I could focus on the movie and that might end up delaying the release.
Why one day? Because I often spend at least 3-4 hours just to get 2 minutes of footage and I also have to do this in my free time after work so it's not like I have all day long to film.
With that in mind, please be patient.

Well, the truth is, I feel the same. I had this issue last year too. Death scenes are usually the most dreadful part in the production and I have to film another one soon and it just makes me feel sad. But it is what it is, if no one died, there would be no movie. 🤷♀️
The way I don’t get attached to tributes is that I lay out who is going to die, For example the D6 M gets his head bashed in by the boy from D10, during the bloodbath, and yes, I have mapped out who wins in each games up from Game 101 to Game 114, and yes I have used a few victors from Panem Academy, but I have changed a few things in the games, and will give credit. Only problem why I haven’t made games before is I don’t have a PC, I have a Laptop, but said Laptop has broken speakers, and 2 GB of storage.

1. From Andrea's reason to volunteer, you may think she's similar to Katniss. But if there's one thing you can be certain of, it's that I don't like any of my characters to feel like clones after canon characters.
2. People tend to feel sympathy for younger female tributes, which is why many of them like Hex. Young boys are popular too but to a lesser extent.

Unlikely. I'm only on day 5, and I have roughly 6 days (of the Games) left to film. Also, keep in mind that the 43rd took me a whopping 7 months to make, so I doubt this one will take only 3 months...
At best, it could be done by mid to late February if I keep it at this rate, but I am not going to make any promises yet.

I use Sims 4 with many, many mods (it's almost impossible to play without mods), OBS for recording, and DaVinci Resolve for editing.

Do all the tributes form Districts 1 and 2 always volunteer? Why?
Not always, but most of the time. In earlier years, they didn't, but after they started training, they began to volunteer. You also have to note the fact that the Games are glorified in these districts, and many young people see it as an honour to represent their district. It's a part of the Capitol propaganda because they want to pit the districts against each other in order to maintain order.

Mayors and other officials. They're also not relevant to the story, but they were just added for the montage.

When is this expected to be released?
My target right now is sometime between mid to late March because I am getting pretty close to the end (I'm at the final 6 right now). I don't have a clear date yet, but I will probably set one soon. Stay tuned for the announcement.

There are two, but the other one is not visible. Anyway, many mentors are not relevant, and they were only added for the reaping montage. You won't see them anywhere otherwise.

Are they on the gallery? I would love to download them, even if its just a base without CC
no they’re not, the creator doesn’t put her sims on the gallery due to things that happened in the past, and even if you wanted a base sim version, it would look NOTHING like they do in these videos
Not for now. My problem is that I used a lot of cc (including skin details and default replacements), so even if you download them, they will probably look different in your game. I'm still debating whether I want to remove their cc and only give them EA stuff.

@kstep0 Sorry for the late response, but it's from the Mean Girls set by Daylife Sims. I also decided that I would upload the cast on the gallery after the movie is released, but I will only give them cc hair.

Thanks, I understand the point. My idea is that, considering that most of the tributes are picked at random during the reaping ceremony, some casts might be more diverse, others less. I will try to include more ethnicities in the future, but rest assured that some of the most important characters this year are poc.
