I think you are a top shelf 22 rimfire youtuber along with "Don from RIMFIRESS and Josh from PURSUE OF ACCURACY". But you are the one that consistently shoot the farthest of the three top tier 22 rimfire RUclips channel 100 and 200 yards.
The 45 gr CCI subsonic is meant to be alot more accurate but i cannot get my hands on it at moment. If you give the projectile of CCI standard a light spray of WD 40 (i use inox spray that contains lanolin) it mimics the wax on expensive ammo and improves accuracy.
in the words of John WICK"S mechanic, " That is some crazy shit out there". :) I would try that on my next outing and report back on the verasity of this claim.
It would be nice to see what the Lithgow can do at 100 yards with CCI standard velocity. I just got a 5000 round case of this ammo for $348 delivered. Can't beat the price. Good video.
That CCI ammo really falls apart between 80 and 100 yds. IMO, the only way to have a fair match-up is to determine each rifle's favorite ammo, and use THAT ammo. In all likelihood, you will be shooting 3 different ammunitions, and since the ammo variable will have been eliminated, we can get on with seeing what each rifle is capable of doing.
The rings are the lows the just clear the barrel and the back of the power adjustment ring just touches but I filed down the knurled part just a bit like a couple thousands of an inch so it turns without touching. And the scope cap had to be shaved down a bit to clear also but I usually just remove it when I’m shooting.
Thanks for testing CCI SV. I think 100 yards is the practical limit for plinking and training (not for groups, but running drills). Given wind conditions, 1.6MOA is good enough. 200 yard testing would be not worth your time/effort, unless it was zero wind that day and just one rifle (CZ457) for giggles to see how much the groups would open up (for science…😅), but no. Great video editing to capture Garmin shot data and close up of target impacts. Do you think you would ever get a scope cam like TriggerCam 2.1 for your videos? Only benefit would for us to see where you are aiming and how steady the rifle is when you break the shot. For target impacts, your current set up is the best! Just curious. Thanks again my friend!
I have always wanted to do scope cam but I didn’t think anyone wanted to see that. But if it’s something you want to see I’ll save up and make it happen.
@ I am not sure about anyone else, but I would be interested in having it integrated into your videos. Maybe ask your audience and see if you get a significant response.
I definitely will I’ll do one of the community post tolls and see what the consensus is. I personally want to do it because I like to see when the shot broke in other videos I watch on RUclips. I will probably end up forking out the cash for one regardless. Thanks for the recommendation though I’ll be looking into this
@stevenlee2780 omg those are $999 Canadian 😳 I was thinking they were like $300! Yikes I’ll see what I can do but it’ll probably take almost a year of RUclips revenue to buy that lol
For me, very timely review. Currently tracking CCISV in my Ruger Precision Rimfire. 12 group 100 yd average 1.807 and an average Mean Radius of .604. Mostly 10 shot groups but also some 5's.
Thanks for the vid. I love that Bergara. I already have 2 CZ's. I went shopping for a new 22 and ended up with a CZ 600 Range in 6mm Creed. I feel like a such a traitor.
So I just saw this ammo (box of 50) for 19.99 at my local Canadian tire. I’m really hoping it’s an mis-sticker and not a sign of things to come. Those ndr mags are awesome.
$20 for cci standard? Omg I sure hope not. If that’s the case I’ll have to remortgage the house and by the good ammo while it’s still reasonably priced
Great video. I been using Atlas works products on my Tikka's for years. Love their stuff. Some issues with their bottom metal on my 7 rem mag but their bolt knobs and handles are absolutely top notch. Also our Canadian dollar is worth more so ordering from Australia is awesome. And amazing fast shipping.
I would like to see you try Fiocchi Range Dynamics. 40gr lrn 1050 fps! It shoots 1 hole groups at 50 yards out of 2 rifles that I have! It's cheaper than cci sv too!
@@BROTUNED A friend of mine gave me a couple of boxes! Had my local store order me 2 bricks and have been really surprised! It costs 35-40 dollars a brick. Oh yeah tell your girl she needs a SMALLER POSTER! Later brother! Have a great Thanksgiving!
May be the barrel length difference? But a couple inches shouldn’t make to big of a difference. I guess something the pay attention to in the future. Great observation though. Cheers!
I make my own. I bought a sewing machine and watched a bunch of videos on RUclips. I for some reason can’t justify spending $180 plus 150 shipping and duty for a game changer bag. Because I live in Canada it seems like you can’t get the goodies I see all my favourite RUclips channels using. I started making them now and could possibly sell them if people are interested
My new rifle doesn't make any sense! It only likes CCI SV. I shot 4 different types of SK and 5 different types of Eley. The only other round it seemed to like was Eley Match! Any explanation for that!🤔😅 CCI SV and Eley Match both shoot about .5 at 50. All other ammo was around 1.25!☹️
That’s the unicorn rifle then. I’d be happy to have a rifle that shoots inexpensive ammo well. 1 moa is my standard also I’m happy if I get consistent moa groups. Hopefully it does that same at longer ranges
@BROTUNED i think I'm going to contact the company and see what they say. It's nice that it does ok with CCI, but concerning that, it's the only ammo it shoots!🤔
Ya I’d love to get him to do some work for me but the international stuff seems to not work in my favour for a lot of things. Not sure what the regulations are for importing and exporting but they don’t seem to be easy
@BROTUNED Yeah that might be a problem I don't know for sure what part of the US he is in but his videos look down south .But the guy sure seems to know his stuff And I would bet quite pricey .But even you might pick up a few tips watching his videos I've only seen two of them

Thanks so much!
Have shot a lot of CCI Standard. Some boxes shot great, other boxes were all over the place.
It’s strange because I weight sorted and still got the same results
As usual, another valid and informative test. Thanks.
Very welcome. Are you ready for December?

Interesting 🤔 I think I’ll have to try that out!
Very good job. loved it. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!

I’ll have to give it a try. That Lithgow is a shooter
Thank you 🍻
Any time! Cheers 🍻

I really thought the tika would take it... great shooting. hey, what height are the rings on the lrp? medium?

i was thinking maybe they where low. looking at the dimensions the mediums seemed kinda high..: have you tried a set of the medium height?
Nice video thank you. With different ammo that could end up totally different
Oh 100%! We need to get those Lithgow’s out

Thank you glad you liked it. What could I do to make it better?
Thanks for the vid. I love that Bergara. I already have 2 CZ's. I went shopping for a new 22 and ended up with a CZ 600 Range in 6mm Creed. I feel like a such a traitor.
How are the 600’s I have never shot one?
@@BROTUNED I haven't shot it yet, but i'll probably post on Facebook when I do. I'm waiting on my scope to arrive.
What were the dimensions of the little squares on the targets?
Hi , are those squares on the target 1/2 inch or an inch , thanks
Hi there, those are .5” squares.

Can't wait to get my own LRP.......Good video.

What i find strange is that the FPS was wildly different between the 457 and the T1X

@BROTUNED 🫡
What kind of rear bag are you using?
I make my own. I bought a sewing machine and watched a bunch of videos on RUclips. I for some reason can’t justify spending $180 plus 150 shipping and duty for a game changer bag. Do the same test with eley sport
I will see what I can do

You better buy every box of that lot number of the CCI you can find!
@brianwood7882 ive got 3 or 4 bricks!😉
@ if it was me I’d triple or quadruple that if I could find it.
TUFF TO WATCH.....HUNG IN THERE FOR THE B14R THO..
Was it to long?
IT WAS THE ACCURACY... JUST TUFF FOR ME WHEN THEY ARE CONSISTENLY SPRAYING MORE THAN 1.5 INCHES AT 100YRDS... 🤔🤔
Hey a bit ago I told you about a guy on Utube that builds custom 22s that you might be interested in look up Eagle Eye shooting

I have been watching him for a while now and he is a very smart man for sure I just wish I had access to the US firearms market
No 200 😊
If you want it I’ll do it
My b14 is 1/2 moa with hornady match. Better with my handloads. Luck of the draw, I guess. Good vid.
What caliber are you shooting?
@BROTUNED I'm shooting 6.5cm, but also have 22-250, 243, 260, and several .308 barrels with similar accuracy.
@trehawker4045 6.5 is my favourite as far as none rimfire
@BROTUNED Agreed. I shot my first 1 hole 3 shot group with it recently at 100m.
I'd like to ask, do you ever weight sort your rimfire cartridges?
👊👍👌
Thanks
remove this compesator from cz457 and buy a vormint cap, you will see that the groups will be tighter
