As we said would happen, Disney has dropped all its legal actions against Disney and has reached a settlement. The company now faces a huge penalty as compared to what would have been had it not opposed the state over bedroom issues and elementary school curriculum. It's bad enough even the major publications are beginning to question Bob.

This is one casualty of a DEI board and CEO. If this is what it takes to be rid of Bob woke Iger, it is worth it.
Go woke go broke A trillion dollar loss all because of a stupid agenda.
We can't stop until Disney is completely bankrupt.
The DEI goons need to learn an expensive lesson. No forgiveness for Disney. None of this "They've had enough" or "They promise not to do it again" nonsense.
He's just a symptom. He'll probably be replaced by a DEI hire because the corporate overlords don't care.
I don't think Iger is truly woke. I think he didn't realize how many woke people controlled Disney and he was too weak to fix it. He didn't want his legacy tarnished by being cancelled so he just went along. But settling with Florida will finally get him fired because he caved in against Evil Florida & Wicked Ron.
@@lanefunai4714 Nelson Paltz can go against the overlords.
I'm sure Florida could put that Trillion to better use than Disney anyway. Perhaps put it towards protecting kids instead of grooming them?
❤❤❤👌👍👍👍
Florida buys what's left of the MCU and de-wokeifies it.
Definitely not enough Florida politicians with their pockets lined. So, there's one purpose.
It is sad that there needs to be funds to protect kids from this stuff, it should be common sense. I mean I guess it could be all inclusive and protect kids from other things as well.
@@kipolem53I think everoynre needs to be protected from wokeness. Many adults seem just as susceptible of buying into it particularly when it’s slipped in everywhere constantly like a nonstop diet of poison backs duo by celebrities and authority figures who add perceived credibility but are really just greedy and corrupt.
The media is simply calling this a 'settlement'. It's literally Disney admitting they lost and walking away. Peltz is gonna make a field day out of this.
wrong. It's literally Desantis admitting he lost and walking away.
Wrong User. 😂
I'm sure both sides saw no end and were wasting each other time. They need each other. Just call it marriage counseling.
The settlement is, Disney stops legal action and the state of Florida won't prosecute them for illegal acts related to their RCID activities.
It's hilarious to me that Disney thought their lawyers were sharper than the hundreds of state lawyers who actually write Florida law FOR A LIVING.
@@user-qc8ed5xt6u Ah, the fearful bot users that haunt the comment sections of truth speakers trying to disqualify things they are terrified of, the equivalent of the 50 cent army. Hi! We're laughing at you even when the comments aren't destroying you.
I grew up in Orlando ànd worked at the rat's house. They're contempt for the community and residents of Orlando was well known by employees. I am ecstatic to see their downfall. 🎉❤😅
20 years ago Disney didn't allow their workers to say Merry Christmas, but they sure wanted to rake in the .money on it.
Bob fought the law, and the law won.
Bob fought the law, and the law won.
Bob fought the law, and the law won.
he shot the sheriff- but he did not shoot the dep-u-tee... :)
For now. Until another governor or legislature gets into office. who know, in 10 years or 20 years, Disney might get a better deal (government intervention in free markets). The Federal, State, and local governments should be forbidden from interfering in free markets by making tax breaks and sweetheart tax deals, illegal. Even the $50 billion to bring back microchip production to the U.S. is COMMUNIST and a government intervention in the free market. Just because the US cannot compete for microchip fabs... does not mean we should go full COMMIE like the CCP.
Hey Disney, play stupid games, win stupid prizes!
since their domestic parks are losing money and now with this move stands to lose even more if I were Disney I'd close shop, sell the property and open up another international park somewhere else. See how Florida likes losing all those jobs and tax money.

No more freebies for Disney at taxpayers expense. It's about time.
Disney really thought they had enough pull to try to carve out its own nation inside Florida.
It worked for Iger's folks in Palestine.
To be fair to Disney they did do it for decades.
Fun fact the land for Disney was donated by the CIA...

Looks like even more reasons for Peltz to take those seats over.
This should cost Bob the CEO position. A real board would vote to have him removed.
Or the board is as corrupt as Iger is.
In my imagination what I see
Peltz laughing
Disney is on the ropes, weakness is shown. I hope everyone with a grievance sues them now.
"Close your eyes... what do you see?"
A big foreclosure sign and a crying rat
or musk buying out Disney.. I'm just parroting what I see mentioned a lot.. but it would be hilarious
Disney is so deplorable that I find myself rooting for the government.
A crying money hungry rat.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lol. Followed by "Universal studios welcomes you to Disney world" or "Elon Musk welcomes you to Disney world"
Iger is done! His legacy is nothing but shit!
Everything woke, turns to Iger
The only thing Iger was good at was acquisitions.
He is TERRIBLE at actually running a company. Turned Disney into a woke disaster that can't make a profit on any of their movies, and is full of weirdos and pedophiles.
Even if he's not booted out of Disney anytime soon his precious legacy that he was trying so hard to make...making himself bigger than Walt Disney himself, is utterly down the crapper right now. I find it hard to believe he will in anyway be able to recover it...hell according to Geeky and Kneon's channel even the big publications are starting to turn against Iger, saying he's "no longer invincible"....when the magazines that have carried water for him and Disney are starting to turn you know it's bad.
Too bad he took Walt Disney's legacy with him. Though at least he won't become president. Can you image how he would have ran this country?
Need Eisner back
Peltz should be talking endlessly about how much money Iger's politics have cost the shareholders.
Another term needs to be in the agreement: “Disney agrees to stop grooming children.”
These are sad times. I wish DIsney was the same as when I was a kid. It's unfortunate that Disney leadership has burned a great company to the ground. And for what?
All because Disney company listened to the woke employees to fight against a bill that protects children! The shame they've bought to Walts legacy!
"woke" is a pseudonym for queer--and don't fault me for that word, that is what they call THEMSELVES
Just more ammo for Peltz to really show Bob Igor’s complete incompetence towards Disney’s investors on the upcoming proxy battle.
companies....stay...out...of...politics!
grooming children is NOT POLITICS!!!!!!!!!! it is SICK IMMORALITY, and good on Ron DeSantis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who said Disney no longer knows how to provide entertainment. Disney kicking it's own ass, is the best fun thing, we seen in the last 12 months!
F-Disney!
BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE
All of Disney’s wounds are self inflicted. This Florida thing is a reaction to Disney’s meddling in Florida politics. Mr. “We don’t have an agenda” got pretty rowdy for a company without an agenda.
In Florida we have a saying "F around and find out." Iger just found what happens when you F around in Florida.
Too bad they can't recover the money they paid that idiot Iger
Like I once said…
Bob Iger needs to hold on to power so that he can continue to quietly cover up everything that he and Eisner did over the past 40 years.
You don’t settle when you’re right. You settle when you want to hide.
Discovery or BUST!
Gina’s up next in line to take a swing at the Iger piñata 😂!
What started this was Iger's ambition to run for president as a Democrat. That's why he picked this fight over the don't say gay law. Howard Schultz of Starbucks did something similarly stupid, though on a much smaller scale, when he invited people to discuss race with their baristas. He then ran for president.
@@teastrainer3604 I’m sure he wanted to run for president (or more specifically, run away from accountability). I have no doubts that he has bones buried in that office bathroom of his. That’s why he won’t let anyone else use it. 🤣
Iger is the worst CEO in Disney’s history. At least Eisner was a good CEO during Disney’s greatest era during the animation renaissance of the 90’s.
@@LH74 People who knew said Roy E. Disney, and not Eisner or Jeffrey Katzenburg, was behind those animated hits. And Roy E. is the person who forced Eisner out.
@@LH74Eisner screwed over Katzenberg the guy who saved them from Don Bluth and is directly responsible for DreamWorks being a thing.
Ooooh bobby boy owes trillions? the blood is in the water now
Let's see if Blackrock covers the bill this time.
He could start hawking bibles and tennis shoes...just sayin' :)
This truely shows the difference between a person who wants a theme park and a CEO lining his pockets.
This is big time karma!!!
Poor Disney... I can't help but smile though.
As a Florida resident, born and raised, I'm very glad that this did not work out for Disney. I may not have wanted DeSantis for President but I am VERY glad he is the Governor.
We could do worse with DeSantis in the Presidency.
@@tonyburzio4107I mean yes but I think a hammer like Trump is better. And DeSantis has helped keep Florida as one of the free states that immediately backs up other states fighting for their own protection like Texas. The state guard was sent to back up Texas in defending the border. One of the good things of we can keep even a few states free from the libs those states have their own guard who can defend against any attempt at tyranny. Biden has tried to illegally force Texas to open up despite having zero legal right to do so. And he’s taunted Americans saying they’d never be able to stop the American military as if you can use all the military when they’re stationed all over to maintain bases and many of them would refuse to fight their own people and each state has its own guard backed up but tens of thousands and or millions of armed civilians. Dudes an idiot. And to be openly threatening your own people is insane and sends a crazy message to Americas enemies of the state of things. Just like him saying we don’t have ammo when we very much did still have ammo. You don’t say that even if you are out of ammo, especially then.
@@tonyburzio4107DeSantis is good but I think we want more than a good president we want strong senators to reinforce that as many places as we can and Florida and also for now Texas is a great example of that. I think Texas might be getting a new one or I heard that so hopefully he matches abbot.
You must like your property insurance skyrocketing under destanis and high property taxes
ron bankrupted the state 😂 worse than jeb
😂Scooping and Scooping and Scooping the Disney litterbox
and not using the clumping litter either!! :)
Disney seriously thought it was sooo big it could strong arm Florida , instead they got dk slapped by Ron 🤣🤣🤣
You did not need to be a lawyer to see that Disney was not going to win. I would laugh every time I saw a "pixie duster" talk about how Disney's great legal team had outsmarted the state of Florida. You can have the greatest lawyers in the world, if your opponent literally has the ability to rewrite and change the laws, you are NOT going to win. I am not sure what Disney thought would happen, in the end.
Agreed..did Disneys overconfident Council back - knowingly?- a bad legal move vs. The State of Florida ?
They may've made thier last $500/ Hr. Fee from Disney..😂..
“Close your eyes. What do you see?”
Bob Iger resigning.
Not exactly what Walt had in mind for the future of his company 😢
In my imagination what I see
Peltz laughing.
That's ok. Sales on "Acolyte" toys (special 'adult' toys) will cover more than a trillion.
A Trilion US Dollar. That is a shitton of money to just burn.
cant believe disney lost their own government, if only they weren't full of hubris
I can see Iger acting like Denzel Washington in "Training Day", saying to himself... "I'm still winning..." right after he lost everything.
Yup..Ego too big to Fail..
" I'm King F-ing Kong, MotherFkrs ! I'll put cases on ALL Y' all !"😂
Can not wait for Epic Universe. Opps!!! That is Universal
Iger is now suffering the Eisner affect, the magic of all his decisions has faded, and he has to go. Between his acquisition of Fox, his pick of Chapek to succeed him, this lawsuit failure, the India disaster, Disney+, he has cost this company an enormous and egregious amount of money, that all of us park goers are paying for.
$145 BILLION lost so far..more huge losses from these ill-advised lawsuits..lost Reedy Creek..😮 lost the cache of thier Brands..lost thier Movie Stars..lost thier minds grooming children..
Disney has learned it's not about politics, it's about what's right and wrong
When a corporation becomes a mouthpiece for a CEO with Presidential designs, then it is doomed to become a target. A corporation is in itself a government, but that doesn't extend outside the corporation...or shouldn't. Keep your political views to yourself, work transparently through lobbyists to effect legislation in your favor, and focus on your business mission. When you've got a great deal with your hosting State and then you spit in its face and you don't expect consequences because you think you can hide behind the Constitution and the public's complete misunderstanding of said Constitution (although they misguidedly *think* they know it), then you deserve exactly every bad thing you get.
Chapek was set up to fail. Initially he did not want to comment on the legislation. Iger pressured him to speak out against the legislation. Iger then jumps back in to play the hero. Unfortunately for Bob Iger Chapek's initial move to not comment on the legislation was the right thing to do. I don't hold D stock. If I did , I would have to vote for Pelz group.
Soon as I read this on a MSM site, I was excited to see this kind of video!
On day one back as CEO, Iger should have done this. He just wasted millions and millions of dollars of company money. Investors should be very upset.
Yet, DIS is up almost 1% today. I don't know what these investors are looking at. Its mind boggling to me.
Disney may be up today because this settlement is not gonna be a back-breaker. Desantis can destroy them but instead he chooses to settle? Desantis has changed the last 18 months- they have gotten to him.
How much you want to bet that Iger is gonna use this to his advantage prior to the election . No jail time, no multi billion dollar settlements and certainly no “trillion” dollar hit.
they are looking at new leadership
George Lucas's recent Pro Disney speech has me wondering if he's not panicking about the loss of value of his Disney stock (-38%) and the fate of his friends and extended family he once was close to as former owner of LucasArts. 🤔
You have to get rid of this guy and shake up the board. This is getting ridiculous.
I suppose the "Disney defenders" gotta find a new objective.. even after they gave the cftod pink slips...
So.. the "modern executive" is being shown that the way it was done before had a reason and purpose, so discarding it without a thought wasn't the best approach?
That's no non-Iger. It's ok though, these executives can also be replaced.
this doesn't stop Florida from punishing Disney in legal ways by code enforcement of the park.
At some point, Bob Iger is going to realize he and Disney are not the Lord's of society.
Some media pixie dusters and bloggers call it a settlement a win for Disney but the truth is iger knew this wasn’t in his favor and also not to mention he seems more worried about peltz lately then he is with DeSantis I think he knew he had to get this out of the way to some how make him look good despite he ask for the lawsuit to be dropped.
I hope this puts Disney back in their lane and they begin to start making family friendly and wholesome content again
Florida- 🎶How ya like me now?🎶
Amazing. Growing up all things Disney was magic. Even as a grownup.
Now it is just plain shit.
Me: What did it cost you bringing Bobby Iger back as CEO, Disney?
DIS: Everything
Go woke go broke!
Greatness. The money laundering is enormous.
have you ever seen the legit laundery complex Disney has for all the parks and resorts? I have a feeling they're washing a lit more than sheets and towels! :)
So... when do people start shorting Disney stock?
And now Disney is showing a biopic of the Beach Boys in late May! Haven't they learned, after the Taylor Swift failure?
"Oh noe. Oh NOE!"
- Justice Dankula, writing for the majority
We have a saying among lawyers, "In every case only the lawyers win." Any CEO should always be vigilant when taking advice from a lawyer, especially outside counsel, because they always have a perverse incentive to engage in litigation to rack up those billable hours through case work regardless of the viability of the case or the potential risk to the client. A good lawyer keeps you out of trouble, he does not plunge you into one fight after another for their own enrichment.
Disney is pleased. That they have to pay out a trillion $. Potentially. So pleased
Disney likely also is breathing a sigh of relief due to this delaying 'Discovery' too given the proxy fight and the way Iger sees his company as a powerful cheerleader for the next big nation political election. *Deceive, deny, and delay, Disney's 3 D's as they see their power slip away in fits and spurts.*
So, the question is, what are they afraid to find and discovery
Disney broke the most important rule in the Unite States: you DO NOT fuck with Florida. There’s a reason why businesses shouldn’t be involved with politics. So…. Y’all still wanna crack those Florida Man jokes?
Disney now plans to move to Texas and mess with them.
GENIUS
I'm a Floridian, I love the jokes. They're told with much envy 😁
The Disney company is no longer a for-profit company. It's a political, far left propaganda machine
Nope gonna still crack jokes. Y'all keep getting into fist fights with hurricanes.😂
@@Mglue3 Not my city. They always miss Jacksonville and slam straight up into North into South and North Carolina 😁
I would like to think that other companies will learn to stay out of politics, and just sell whatever they sell. Whenever a company gets into politics, they are going to upset a certain part of their paying customers. But I really, I’m not sure that other companies will learn from this. Just look at bud, light and Tyson foods. They have still not learned that getting walk goes broke, and not to get into politics. 🤦🏻♂️
A victory for the "little people" vs. Disney.

I remember when disney bought star wars and I thought at the time how awesome it would be with the resources they had to make some great new movies. Wow, I've never been more wrong in my life.
I want criminal charges though
Love it! Hopefully this will be the start to getting the company back to actually creating magic and wholesome family fun for all ages instead of the SJW and identity politics that have plagued them for the past 10+ yrs. Also, it's going to be interesting to watch the media eat their own words.
🎶 I fought the law and the law won 🎶
Wow, mainstream media had no idea what they were talking about. Who would have thought it :)
🤣🤣🤣 So Florida did find gold at the end of this particular rainbow🤣🤣🤣
If they had a lick of sense they'd be making so much money they'd run out of places to put it.
Legal Eagles, eating crow....🐦⬛🍗🍽️☕
What about the criminal investigation of Disney?
Disney lost? Oh dear. How sad. Never mind.
Don't say Gay Disney said.
Leave the damn kids alone
Disney caved. FL wins. Parties to the damage still have an open door. A TRILLION reasons to keep corporate fascism out of government. THANK YOU Desantis!
This is all about Igar being able to say he "calmed the storm" left by the other Bob.
Its not like Disney will pay that trillion. It will be added to cost of everything they sell and will be covered by whatever customers they have left.
Disney(and most companies) dont sell products and services based on their cost, they are priced based on what customers are willing to pay
Increasing prices will cause them to lose customers and perpetuate their death spiral
Disney's problems have just begun, especially if their environmental record comes to light.
I feel not sorry for this current day Disney.
This settlememt is disney dropping the lawsuit and florida not asking for atty fees.
So does this mean it will cost Disney more to operate in Florida and translate in even higher ticket costs for the consumers?
Sooo glad to see this after my lay off.
For those who aren’t versed in the minutia of this case, this video disappoints because it fails to explicate how Disney is out potentially a trillion dollars because of this ruling. All that was alluded to was the property rights, third parties effected and the Central Florida Tourism and Oversight District, Disney’s previous tax arrangements with the state, and Iger’s temerity to challenge Desantis’s bill banning queer sexual discussion in elementary schools. How does this affect Disney in the future?
True, the Desantis of today is not the Desantis of 18 months ago. He has changed for the worst. I think Iger is gonna turn this to his favor prior to the April elections. Just watch👀
He did not ban queer sexual discussion. He banned all sexual discussion below 3rd grade. ALL.
Biggest story? Almost nobody has ever heard of it.
Florida: "Knell!!"
Disney: "No!!"
Florida: "I, said KNELL!!"
Disney: "Yes, my master!!!" bends the knee!!
I think you meant 'kneel' :)
