Do the high temps have a affect?
Florida tends to be very, very hot in July historically.
None
not a chance
Sure. 150-160 degrees people won’t go. How hot was it?
Well, Sea World was at capacity on the same day, so...
Pride over patriotism! Magic has left the Kingdom.
And, Dark Magic has infiltrated it. 😈😬💀
Pride goeth before the fall. . . .
Well said.
Disney, the Transick Kingdom
I think we need to find out if Chynna has made an investment into that company. I’ve heard rumors that they have.
When Disney celebrates pride day above and beyond patriotism, it's time to walk away.
Huh? They didn't ...Maggats can only lie.
I was at Disney Springs and I saw lots of pride stuff, I really don't remember seeing that much July 4 / American themed stuff for sale.
Blackrock's DEI score and money are insanely more important to Disney than customer money.
This comment should be so much higher but my guess is the overwhelming amount of people have no idea what your even talking about.
I'm a tad confused what blackrock gets from pushing DEI. What ROI are they getting by investing in and pushing DEI? Genuine question, I think everyone has noticed the increase agendas but I'm confused what blackrock gains from it.
They finally solved the thorny problem of overcrowding at the parks.
Simply make a trip to Walt Disney World as unappealing and expensive as possible, so that overall attendance drops! Genius!
I went from spending thousands yearly on Disney to zero. When I spend money, I refuse to be insulted while doing so. Disney chose their audience...why are they shocked? They refuse to read the room.
Exactly.. They forgot their demographics. They had to please the 1% over the 99% . Thats not good math right there
Yip
Go figure there's not that many gay or trans people to pay their bills
True!! They are still doubling down on stupidity
I hope more people realize how vile Disney really is and stop going there..
Going to Disney to celebrate this nation is about the last thing I’d do to show patriotism.
I'm burning a trump flag .
Exactly, Donald J Felon, '24!

No, the Deep State and Biden will protect me.
I BET YOU WENT TO A TRUMP RALLEY TO CELEBRATE!
We were able to rent a lovely Sprinter camper van for a week and take our 10 year old twins to 2 Major League Baseball games, the Baseball Hall of fame museum, Niagara Falls, and were home in time for a great neighborhood celebration for July 4th with a beautiful fireworks display for much less than our projected Disney budget. We had a fabulous family time!
Now that’s the way to celebrate our great country. Great idea. 🇺🇸
@iarpak shut up and cry
I was there on the 3rd and spoke to many cast members. I asked about "Patriotic" merchandise and passholder merchandise, hoping for something exclusive. Every cast member informed me that patriotic pride in America is now identified with "white nationalism," which no one could define except to say it is bad.
However, the red, white, and blue outfits guests wore into the park were outstanding. Minorities especially dressed in the most attractive patriotic clothing imaginable. I was so impressed by the guests and disappointed by Disney at the same time.
I thought white nationalism is the confederate flag, not the US flag. I am glad my daughter was little during prime Disney.
Wow. Me a Marine veteran, proud of the USA and patriotic. A third generation American of Mexican descent and brown skin. Didn't know i was a white nationalist. Thanks Disney. 🖕
You're lying. "Every cast member" used the term "white nationalism"? What a crock.
Blame guests...blame fans... blame everyone except yourselves. Disney, you SUCK.
$160 a day just to stand in line all day? Hard pass.
You say that as if Disney is NOT the only family amusement park on the planet! …oh wait a min😯…

Easy to afford with all those trump tax cuts .
Disney is no longer the wholesome company that we grew up with and families are not taking their kids anymore. They only have themselves to blame.
I said it before and i'll say it again
The Magic Spell is Broken and Disney deserves it . The diminishment of Disney that we see is not what the Disney execs see. They see ESG compliance. They see DEI agenda compliance. They are serious about the indoctrination of youth as more important than quality entertainment. They see those things as a higher calling for them than audience and profits. We are watching Disney go woke and go broke IRL. But to them it is a necessary sacrifice. Keeping the company healthy and thriving is a distant second priority to advancing “The Message. Is this a wake-up call for Disney? Substandard rides, substandard movies, substandard producers, and directors. Congrats! You took a near flawless company and turned it into a dumpster fire.
When I was a kid growing up in the 50’s every Friday and Saturday night all summer we went to the drive-in movies and for $2 which paid my parents admission price which was $1 per adult and kids were free we came early to get a good spot and went and played on the playground. Then when it got dark the first movie played. Then at intermission you would go to the snack bar and get drinks, popcorn, candy bars, hamburgers and then they would have a huge fireworks show, then one or two cartoons, previews and the second movie would play. We got so much fun for $2.
The biggest problem is that Disney is a completely different company now inside and out. All the good imagineers went to universal and it’s their turn to take the lead in the theme park industry.
Universal Orlando was a blast!
Veloci-coaster easily one of the most badass coasters I’ve ever ridden
Their new rides are all killing it. Love to see Universal kicking some butt

Prices have gone through the roof so guests can pay for the Acolyte, Indiana Jones, the Marvels, etc.
Screw Disney
The early and mid-90s would see the Magic Kingdom stay open two extra hours past midnight for guests, regardless of whether they were staying at a Disney hotel; and the fireworks show consisted of the regular nightly fireworks show plus Disney's "Salute to America" presentation...all in all, the 4th of July fireworks show I grew up with at Disney World were AT LEAST 30 mins long.
Not everyone has $1000 per day to drop on Disney. They have exceeded the limit that ordinary people will tolerate.
I’m not wealthy, but if I was, I still wouldn’t spend money on Disney.
All the corporate catering mainly to the top 1%ers across the board isn't working. Back in the day houses, cars, and everything else was geared toward the working class.
Disney's demise is inevitable.
Instead of improving the Disneyworld experience, Disney continues to cut back and raise prices. They can't continue this squeezing their most loyal patrons forever, and when these customers finally say enough, expect a collapse.

I was there on the 3rd. It was super hot. The crowds were low, 20 minutes for the E ticket rides. Fireworks people started to come in the park about 4 pm. So Disney did it, the people came and left just for the fireworks. PLUS BIG THUNDER was running only 4 trains and loading just the right side. That inflated the line to 45 min.

Packed to the brims. Long lines, hard to get restaurant ADRs. I’m a big fan of your channel and I honestly thought you were just exaggerating about how bad things are at WDW. But I owe you an apology. We’re SHOCKED by how low attendance is. It’s great for our visit, but as a lifelong Disney fan I actually find it really sad and depressing…I don’t know if it’s because the Disney brand is just in such bad shape or because the parks are ridiculously expensive and also not in great shape or maybe it’s both, but what I can tell you for sure is there’s a HUGE problem, WDW is in big trouble and I don’t understand what the Disney executives are thinking. Five minute wait for Soarin in the middle of the day on July 3rd!!!!! When Test Track is down for refurbishment! The food court in The Land that’s normally packed and it’s impossible to get a table - empty and quiet. Depressing. Kilimanjaro Safaris walk on in the middle of the day on July 4th!!!!!! Because of drought, fallout, and fire conditons Sea World has limited their fireworks.
That's them cutting the budgets and then calling it a feature
Disney used to be a unique experience. It is now a very expensive Six Flags.
My local fireworks in a small college town went for 30 min with a free concert beforehand (from a local group playing covers but they were still pretty good).
If Disney’s fireworks were only 7 min I have to say WTF. I’ve seen fireworks at Six Flags go longer than that.
Disney does fireworks everyday though, they probably just did the normal show. They just have put on a special show for the 4th.
@@mattneil1449 I believe happily ever after is the current firework show. That is still 18 min + 7 if the 4th of july is just a segment not a complete show. That is still of 24 min.
My small town went longer. And again you have the free concert going on beforehand from 6-9:30. Not to say Disney doesn’t put on a good show but my local show shouldn’t be rivaling it because at my local show I don’t have to pay nearly $200 for entry.
And then you have my comparison to Six Flags. It’s the only theme park I’ve braved on the 4th before specifically I was at Six Flags New England. And it was a pretty good show that was economic to get into (I had a pass that was like $80). And Six Flags are known for budget cuts.
I would also say this I saw images from King’s Islands fireworks this year and they looked amazing. I hope I can find a full video.
I miss how Disney vacations used to be exciting and magical before they went woke.
Has anyone considered this is Disney’s strategy? We’ve known for years they’ve been intentionally pricing out people with lower incomes in favor of fewer guests with bigger wallets. The loss of foot traffic may not be the worst thing to them as long as those who do show up are “high value”
They’ve become money grabbers with the genie plus which is going away along with their lightning lanes. Everything’s and xtra fee. We recently went a few weeks ago and it made for a hectic, expensive and very uncomfortable time. I ended up realizing it was probably the worst trip I’ve ever been there
This is what happens when you go woke, destroy your beloved attractions, raise your prices to astronomical levels, and take away so many perks. Disney has lost the magic and people are catching on. If attendance was low THIS year and the people that did go this year were unhappy with the fireworks display and overall 4th of July celebration, can you imagine how many less people are going to return NEXT year? I have long suspected that the Disney company as a whole is OUT OF MONEY. No money to put back into the parks would contribute to poor imagineers, cast member cuts or new people who are not properly trained, rides breaking, improper maintenance, cutting back on quality, food portions, decorations and fireworks, performances and shows, and telling the public that they’re going to come out with something awesome, and then pulling it way back, or cancelling it. Everything now is about giving the customers less while charging ten times more. With every choice the Disney higher ups make, they’re telling the consumer that they don’t care about anything but our dollar. You make a complaint, they don’t care. They’re going to do what they’ve determined is “good enough”, and forget what the consumer thinks. Nearly every other theme park around has the completely opposite philosophy.
Well, they still have enough money to spend $200-300 million on movies that consistently lose $100 million.
Never been there - never spent a dime there and don't feel I missed anything.

You don't know what you're talking about because you're basing your world view on social propaganda and not actual first hand experience. You've been played for a fool by people who want you to hate and fear so they can steal power. Wake up
but plenty of multicolored flags from made up countries the month before!!
I dont believe George Lucas could have ever imagine how badly disney would botch star wars
The whole idea was to take it over, and drive it in the ground, to reverse the entire methodology of Walt himself.
Iger told us directly: if you aren’t a rich liberal Disney isn’t for you.
Intersectional feminism and the woke "culture" inspired by it, are as FAR from the left as possible. They are NOT progressive. They do not want equality. They want SPECIAL treatment for their "persecuted " followers. They are regressive and fascist, as RIGHT as possible. Their greatest, and most evil, trick has been hiding behind the word "progressive."
Well Us poor American folks Heard you Mr.Iger.....😉
@WaltRight Dollywood's been getting a lot of attention lately too
now he has to explain his brilliant strategy to their stockholders, who aren't too excited about losing money....ooops !! LOL
Okie veiy
Meanwhile Universal is pulling in record crowds. Gee...could it be that they give park goers what they want? Once Epic Universe opens, it's over for Disney World.
Universal's attendance is actually flat, however....they're also spending tens, if not hundreds of millions on their current parks with new pathways, renovated buildings and facades, renovated restaurants with new menu's, new attractions, a new land with DreamWorks Land, new menu's at different areas of their quick service stands, a brand new nighttime show with drones, a brand new parade with all new floats and performers, new entry pavilions at USF with a new entry system that should make entering their parks quicker, etc. They're playing the long game and while it may not be paying off right away, these are the little things that will win people over little by little. When Epic Universe opens and people see these little things versus what Disney is doing perhaps we'll see the pendulum really start swinging the other way towards Universal.
I was sad to see Dark Universe fail. I liked the idea behind reviving the old monster movies.
It’s just the execution of the lead off movies was poor.
Especially sad when the video game for The Mummy is better than the movie itself (The Mummy: Demastered is a hidden gem from WayForward)
I don't think the movie was half as bad as people pretend. People went in it already prepared to not like it. It came out when people still thought Marvel was actually good and anything not Marvel formula was guaranteed shit on. It wasn't much worse than most Marvel drivel @@poohbear01x48
*nickers* I think it's been over for them since the pandemic :)
Nothing beats late 90s early 2000s Universal. Nothing.
I read on either a travel or business website that there are families financing an entire Disney trip on credit cards. That would be insane for a lot of people to do... so instead they just don't go. And those at the park are the Fear of Missing Out crowd, Keep Up With the Jones', or just can't say no to their children.
Edit: Found the article at Lending Tree, dated June 10 2024, titled "45% of Disney-Going Parents With Young Children Have Gone Into Debt for Trip". Respectfully not posting the link, but should be enough information for anyone to get the article.
My friend and I have talked about this when we talk about our vacation plans. We aren’t taking our kids to a place that no longer is about family. We don’t want to expose our kids to men dressed as princesses. Many of us are still boycotting Disney. We want a company that is made safe for kids.
It's obvious that Bob and friends want to destroy the company. I say let them reap what they sow!
It is easy to wreck something you didn't build and the most insulting thing is that Bob and others like him will be rewarded with Golden Parachutes for running Disney into the ground.
@@NeilPower sad but true
I’d rather see Disney shutter it’s doors than to continue destroying Walt’s legacy. Sad as it may be.
They are either embezzling money, or they are making money by submitting losses for tax purposes, they have to be making money from losses, nobody is this dumb, or a sinister plot he is getting paid by a different entity to purposely make Disney fail , nothing else makes sense
@@MichaelRei99What!? No! Disney is in danger right now, but we can’t give up!
Disney cuts back and wants to be cheap, when universal is pumping money into epic universe. Pay no expense
Epic Universe is something I am looking forward to.
For several years now I have no looked forward to anything Disney has or will be doing.🤷♂️
I live in Orlando. I had first gone to Disney as a kid for July 4th 1976 Bicentennial year. Had been many times in high school in the 80’s and had been to all of the Disney parks dozens of times. I have only taken my own children to the Magic Kingdom ONCE and NEVER to the other parks. Disney has lost families. My family should have been easy to snare as reliable customers but they HATE normal families
They will just blame the fans. Calling them racist! The best news of my day!
I was at Disneyland yesterday . It was not busy. I rode 18 attractions from rope drop til about 7. The only ride I repeated was Rise of the Resistance. The line was low most of the day. The highlight of my day was seeing a girl about 15 wearing an American flag T shirt that said this is my pride flag!
I was there too and it was not crowded until after 7pm . Then it was the most crowded I’ve ever seen
I also noticed that.I think people/passholders just came in the evening for the fireworks. I ended up watching them from the top of the parking structure so I could get out of there quick!
Wouldn’t want to give Disney my money either on the Fourth of July? Seeing as though the parks are already expensive as hell as it currently is. Lol
Don’t forget the rise of violence at the park.
