It’s a nice watch but I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it. I definitely prefer the JLC Polaris Chronograph, which offers me a beautiful dial and excellent movement for a fraction of the price.
I loved the 11:59 from first seeing and I believe it is a sleeper and will become much more accepted in the future. I bought my RO Chronograph in 1999, I happen to be in Tourneau on Madison Avenue NYC, one of the sales people noticed my watch and commented, that's not one of our popular brands. I was pleased because I've never liked to follow the crowd. Therefore, I believe as I said the 11:59 will slowly gain traction and be far more popular in the future.
Tried on this watch at AP Miami because they were trying to get me to start with this instead of the Royal Oak I wanted. Its a beautiful watch, but the Royal Oak is beautiful in every way, and the bracelet is my favourite of any watch. Made me feel something when i put one on. Cant wait to get one

I love my Code 11.59 - WG blue dial chrono. Dial colors make a big difference on desirability. It's a lifestyle watch that doesn't abide by traditional dress/sport design conventions, fit for the more casual dress aesthetic.
Mate I love the code so much it’s a pity that you feel this way about since it’s release you have been very negative. I own 2 of them and not so i can buy a RO because I already had one before the hype started . I think code represents everything AP does really well such as excellent case finishing . It is a causal watch that can be dressed up or down a new category on it’s own a dress watch for younger clients may be. also they are selling really well not as good at RO but may be very comparable to ROO. It took me a year waiting to get my date one and another year for the ceramic chrono. The line is still evolving may be 2023 we will see more metals and may be AP will consolidate the line to fewer models. But so far so good for AP.
Comment is tip-top. I would consider the black leather strap with the blue dial, still fully agree... hands are too thin and subdials with 2 different sizes and art-deco fonts are not a perfect match... the hight of the watch might is a problem too. Code 11.59 is still sexy and I love the movement and transparent caseback. Without Hafiz I wouldn't get it.
The Code is a much more aesthetic watch. Jumping from those clips of the white dial to the Nautilus, the PP is ugly. All it takes is for celebrities to hype a watch enough and everyone will start to love it. The Code just needs better marketing.
Code 11.59 was really first to bring multiple color dials. To say no one following that trend is not accurate. Rolex and Omega jumping on the band wagon all others will follow
I tried it in the AP boutique. It is **awful**. The dial is horrendous (like an emporio armani watch) and "lifeless". What were they thinking?? My view is that to only have the seconds marking on the dial is sufficient but they had to put it on the top of rehaut as well, like wtf? This makes the dial look cheap. And the date between 4 & 5 o'clock ?? really?
at AP boutiques they're shilling these pretty hard. they tried to sell me this model in different variations like crazy... no way. it's not a good looking watch to me. they're desperate to move from the "one watch brand" narrative but to date doesn't seem likely at all for AP to succed in this.

Only thing I dislike is that 12 on top like why? It makes it look less valuable
But the watch actually looks really good on your wrist. Thats the paradox of the 11.59-there’s a huge difference when u hold it vs when u wear it.
