Would looove a review on the Veneficium! 💚🌿
I agree! I’m also interested in 13 pathways of occult herbalism. Both his books sound so interesting.
The necromancy book I would like to have a book review
If you're talking about "The Bones Fall in a Spiral" by Mortellus, it's a beautiful and deep book on death rituals without feeling depressive. I really appreciated their first book, "Do I Have to Wear Black?" and this one was a nice follow up.
If you're talking about a different book, which one?
@@karmas8864 no that one was what I was referring to. Just forgot the name when I commented
I think I would be most interested in Elves, Witches and Gods because its sounds like a book I'd be very, very interested in but I share your hesitations on buying books about Norse magic and Northern traditions. They can get really ick really quickly.
A video on Spinning Wyrd by Ryan Smith would be great to. It sounds like your kind of book so I'd love to hear your take on it ❤
Yes! I second this lol!
Me, too. ❤
Yessss🎉
Witchcraft Unchained sounds right up my alley 👀 great haul!!
Really interested in Six Ways! ❤
I'd LOVE a review of Folktales and Fairytales from Denmark. Especially if you're hoping to have your own revelations emerge. I would find a video like that fascinating.
I got "The Bones Fall in a Spiral" as audio but haven't listened yet. I'm looking forward to your review on it. ❤
Utterly wicked sounds great, too. I'd love your take on that. If you love it, I'll buy it. ❤
I'd like to hear a review of your favorite spirit traveling book.
I would like to hear a book review on Shamans by Ronald Hutton if you are so inclined.
Love Ronald Hutton!
I'm looking forward to that, too. Better, have you done a video on the term "shamanism"? I'm trying to find a substitute word that incorporates the entire modern meaning of how it's used nowadays. I've only ever found fragmented ones.
A Broom at Midnight is fantastic.
would like a review on the norse sorceress pwetty please of possible (maybe do a review video with short reviews on more books?)
Those are wonderful titles. I have a few of them on my shelves. I loved "Byn Moonlight and Spirit Flight". It's small but it packs quite the punch.
All the books are worth a review, so I'll look forward to any review you might do on any of the books. Happy reading!!
I'm so happy you're excited by so many books in your haul!
I'd love a comparative review on the "shamanic" books, once you've read a few. Which ones are just core shamanism and falling into all the problematic traps, which ones are doing what you want.
side comment it's kind of interesting you think it is so "boring" that you "only" bought books for actually a wide range of topics that are very fitting for a "norse witch" which is very on brand... because it is actually quite amazing!
Haha idk 🤣 I kind of thought „ANOTHER one in herbs…. And ANOTHER ONE on herbs“… an hour long is kind of boring 🤣
@TheNorseWitch yeah but it wasn't just herbs, i mean you listed four or five topics in the end which are quite broad XD i was not bored
@CoffeeDropping I’m relieved ❤️
I love stories and myths from all over this spinning rock! Many people brought the herbs they knew and plants they had relationships with. I fully believe, the plants asked to be brought to the rest of the world. So, imo, herby witches really need to know the history of the plants they love. 💚
I'm not a very herby person myself,, but I find it fascinating to hear about it from others when it's delivered in a way I can follow as a total non-expert. So I'm definitely looking forward to your thoughts on these books, too. ❤
Oh no!! This is bad news for my wallet!😅😉❣️
😂😂😂 I second that.
Your book selection is definitely not boring. I have added several to my wish list!
I'd really love a review on witchcraft unchained. And yes, the s*x magick got me, too. 😂❤
So happy you finally mentioned one of Fez Inkwright's folk & herbs books! You got the white book which focuses on the "positive" plants but it's sister book, the black one, which is the same but focuses on the "bad" plants i think you would love! The two books complement eachother well.
THERES A DARK ONE??? 😍
@@TheNorseWitch Yes!! Its called Botanical Curses and Poisons: The Shadow-Lives of Plants! The two books go together, its perfect
The Herbal Alchemist's Handbook by Karen Harrison sounds so nice! I'm curious whether you're gonna enjoy it or not!
Though at this point seeing the other comments, it feels like it's going to end up as a huge video following the book haul once you're gonna be done with all of the books! All of your picks sound very interesting ✨
I added so many books to my wishlist. Im dying here! 😂🙈
Sorryyyyy 🤣
@TheNorseWitch I'm not. 🤣🤣🤣 I started listening to Martellus on audio last night, but then fell asleep over it. The part I consciously remember was absolutely brilliant. Some of the practices are definitely too dark for me, but I love his stye and the research he put into that. I'm sure you'll love the book as well, regardless of whether or not you'll decide to do the suggested practices or parts thereof. I woke up right at the end where he describes something involving human bones, so that was the bit where I decided, that's definitely not for me. But I'll still listen back to the parts I slept through. ❤️
@TirzaTheSmilingGoddess Just a little bit of info: Mortellus is non binary and uses they/them pronouns ☺️
@@TheNorseWitch oh, thank you for telling me. I didn’t know. ❤️
I finally received The Bones Fall In A Spiral last week after having it preordered since mid last year 🙏 I was so excited to read it. Mortellus commented on my IG post and explained the delay was because of changing publishers so the book was as they had intended originally 😉 ... I'm definitely interested in some of the books you listed - thank you for sharing. I've read a few of them and have a review for some of the ones I read on my channel - I uploaded my faves I read in 2023 a week or so ago and Daniel A Schulkes books and some of Roger J Hornes are included. I would highly recommend them👍 ✨
6 books in, and I want them all. 😅 I guess I'll let the others make the poll for you, as I would never be able to choose just one. 😂 thank you for this video!
The witches ointment !!!! ❤ I will probably buy it before you do a review 😅 I love stuff about entheogenic and i did not know there was about who mixe it with witchcraft
You can never have too many books ❤
yay bookhaaaul, perfect to listen to while writing in my grimoire :D thank you for this video
I own and have read Utterly Wicked. It was an interesting read. It contains a lot of recipes and spells. One of which was my first and only her because it backfired. 😂😂
11:32 Craig Spenser was on an episode of southern bramble with marshall and Austin maybe that’s where you heard the interview.
Yeeees that was it! ❤️
You have the first two books of Daniels Trilogy, The Green Mysteries is the final part.
I have a few of these books and look forward to hearing your thoughts. A few are on my wish list already. A couple I hadn't heard of but will look into 😊
Now I’ve added about half a dozen books to my reading list! I’m interested in any of the books on this list about plants and spirit flight.
A great book haul Bente! Here's a couple books I HIGHLY recommend getting if you don't already have them. The first is all about magical uses and crafting of incenses, oils, and brews. The second goes along with what you were searching for in writing incantations of your own instead of just another book full of pre-written ones. I hope you enjoy them! 😊 'Incense, Oils, and Brews' by Scott Cunningham and 'Crafting Magick With Ink and Pen' by Susan Pesznecker
I own the first one but not the second one, thank you for the recommendations! 🥰
I did not know there are ♥️ reduced prices on Black Friday for Books 📚!
I would love a book review on the witch by Ronald Hutton I've been wanting that book but there's no book reviews on it.
So excited about this one! Always looking for witchy book!
Fantastic video! How's the reading going? Could you possibly do a brief overview on which ones you truly enjoyed?
Thanks for sharing your time and knowledge.
Spinning Wyrd by Ryan Smith please...
I have many of these books. What a great book haul and thank you for sharing with us.
Will u do a review on witchcraft and the shamanic journey?
Thanks for sharing the book haul 👍💙
Of course! 🥰
I'm dying that you called your camera a bitch. 😂
Sometimes it is a little bitch 🤣🤣
WOW 😲😲😲 Alot of book's 😊😊
Haha yeah xD but it’s my entire 2023 book wish list apart from very few that I got right away
@@TheNorseWitch 😀😀
ahh what a nice video to find at 3 am☝️😅
Happy 200 videos, Norse Witch!! Sending sunshine your way🌞🌞🌞
Thank you 🥹
Would love for you share some of the German superstitions in English!
Would love a review on talking to spirits by sterling moon!
Can't wait to see some of your opinions after reading these. This was a plethora of different books and loved this video can't wait to order a copy of the spirit contact books which I'm very much interested in as well ❤
❤️
do you know or recommend any books with norse druidry? what's your opinion on druidry? druidry vs shamanism?
There were no Norse Druids. I think you’re confusing Norse with Celtic ☺️ I don’t have any experience with Druidry so I couldn’t tell you anything about it :/
@@TheNorseWitch thank you for responding. i was just wondering as my path is mostly norse based but my mom bought me 'the path of druidry' which was a bit random but i didn't know if there was any base in norse paganism that i was just unaware of.
You lost me at “they/them”. This is fascism in itself. You of all people should know this. Peace out!
Congratulations, your comment won the award for BOTH the most stupid AND most disgusting comment of the week!
