Not an animist in the sense that everything is alive and inspirited. I am of the opinion that things that are living - defined by the scientific necessities of life - have a spirit, but this does not transfer to other objects. For me, it is less about the spirit itself and more about the occult virtue of a material, which is influenced by its natural virtue and occult virtue. The natural virtue takes into account growth in different geographical locations, such as a cemetery. For example, a black walnut tree already has a Saturnian occult virtue and its natural virtue echoes this (think about their color, seeds being used to make iron gall ink which dries down as black etc). But a black walnut tree growing in a cemetery has a stronger connection to death and necromancy than one growing on a college campus, which would have a more mercurial virtue due to its natural location. Hope that makes sense!
Personally using yoga as a method of centering, generating, and releasing energy. I've done yoga for a few years now but connecting it to my practice has given it new meaning
Makes sense to bring oneself to a state in their practice to really connect to their practice on more levels like with connecting to the ingredients ^_^ I like this

Neat! You and Daat Darling both released similarly titled but uniquely enlightening videos! I definitely hear more of my own experience in your words but appreciate both of you more than I know how to say. Something that occurred to me while watching your video, I think there are probably people who would benefit from being around animals. Specifically because of the intuitive side of communicating with say, a cat (your cat is very cute btw) so much of the communication between a person and a cat is based on learned but subtle signs, I think we internalize a lot of those signs and at a certain point it almost feels like you have a psychic connection, or a spiritual connection, it's like, a step one could take if you were having trouble making contact with the spirit, spirits being constantly present but almost unconsciously so, to the point that many people simply deny their existence entirely. I think if you went cat> familiar places> an old tree you remembered for instance. Personally I just want more people to become aware in general, I feel like Im in an ocean of wonders most of the time but then there are.... Bulls in the china shop? Blind Wrecking balls? I don't know, not trying to be mean but sometimes people can be pretty rough with what they don't understand.

This is very good advice. 👍Over time, I have started to practice all of that you have mentioned - however, I could enhance the bioregional element which you have talked about in the end. I used to have a good connection to a specific space and the plants there, in a forest here in Hamburg, but then I moved to a different district and I can't reach that space so easily anymore. However, there is a nice cemetery in the neighbourhood and a large park. And your video has now inspired me to explore those places more than I used to (though they are a bit more urban than the forest). 🌳
I resonated with some of this content and other aspects I did not. I believe it’s truly okay to read books all throughout your practicing years. I love reading and exploring new topics and avenues. I also think a magickal practitioners path or practice especially when solitary like myself, is truly personal and unique to the individual. I sometimes love working with books with correspondences but then also making my own take as well. Now I do appreciate that this video challenged me, to really ask myself the deep core of my beliefs and take on magick. That really helped deepened my perspective within seconds actually. For example, I believe my magick is based off frequency, vibration and the laws of attraction and universe. But I don’t exactly work with “spirits”, I guess you could interchangeably call a specific vibration a spirit but I guess I just have a personal different experience and perspective. Thank you for challenging and helping me deepen my practice, but I also just want to emphasize that all witches at any stage practice differently. There’s no one true way in my own opinion. Books? No books? Great! Believing everything has a spirit or not? Fine with me! I guess I was both challenged and slightly triggered 😅 but I come with peace and no harm , no hate and nothing but the yearn to learn and a heart full of love. Also the pursuit to understand and accept others. Thank you again for making content, hopefully I don’t step on anyone’s toes. Just wanted to express myself truthfully and give my own take and perspective. ❤❤❤❤
I really agree about reading I have been ready so many books since I became a witch and I love the books I read but I see I spend more time reading books instead of practicing and growing I'll take a break from re😢and watching RUclips on witchcraft for a month and see my change your a amazing person thanks for the video again

what i struggle with is accidental self sabotage because i’m constantly doubting my ability. so i find that my workings don’t work so well cause im constantly worried that im not a very good witch 😕

I was wondering if you also can answer a question that no-one usually talks about: WHERE should I put the ashes of burned sigils and also other remnants of rituals - like wax leftovers from candle rituals or any other material leftovers of rituals? WHERE to put them? In the general bin outside? Dig into earth - but in that case where in the earth if you live in the house of flats in urban setting? As for ashes - is throwing in the wind and option? A detailed advise would be appreciated. (Because none of the wichcraft videos o RUclips says WHERE to dispose the remnants of rituals.
Great video! Another thing that's really changed my practice is designating with my spirit allies how I'd like them to communicate with me. Setting up your own correspondences and symbolism with them so they know how to best get your attention even if redefining the meaning of those pesky repeating numbers.
Im not even on a level yet. Theres so much info out there but people do things differently and in the end im not even sure what im trying to accomplish haha. I just research. One of the main things is meditation but how do i know if meditation is doing anything i suppose is the question i ask myself for anything.
