I used to live in Hangzhou too, Xihu district and the moment you said Yuhang my face went like 😕.. because as you said it is in the middle of nowhere but you look happy there so good for you! At least you aren't living in Linping haha, now that is really in the middle of nowhere!

I think you and I might have the same taste in apartments. I always like High floor, good view, open plan. My best apartment in China was on 53rd floor.

No, you can pick up food close to the main entrance and pick up packages in the basement. You need a card to get to your floor.

I lived in EFC (european financial center) so maybe just go to the nearest agency at the location where you wanna live. there's plenty of agencies. just walk for a 5-10 min and you'll find one.
