Best part of Hangzhou would be the west lake and the mountain surrounding it. You can hike around and see the city， there’s a lot of tea gardens on the mountains. You can hike during late March to see the tea farmers pick the tea leaves there. The headquater of Alibaba is located on the west side of the city, so just go east to discover the old area of the city. Wish you luck of your one year.
Wish you all the best. Alibaba is a big name, even if you feel you are not right there I think you'll find another job easily after that. Anyways, you're young and have time. Get all the experience of working in a big environment and you will go far.
Although I'm from Chengdu, Hangzhou in my opinion is the best Tier 1 city to live in. For more than 1000 years it is the representative city of Southern China.

If you work in a faster environment, you won't have enough time to do videos. Good to get experience of a more professional and fast pace environment, but think carefully. I used to work in a fast pace corporate environment, but after awhile, I found it drained every ounce of my life.
