What are your thoughts on the ATR2500x-USB?
I bought this microphone but I haven't used it yet lol
The fact that this comes with a stand and cords was what made it a purchase. Rediculous how the more expensive mics require you to get everything on top of the mic. Loved that you actually used the mic for like half your video.
I’ve watched 20+ videos today trying to get an impression on the quality of the mic out of the box and on the stock stand. Undeniably, this video has given me the most certainty in my purchase! Thank you and great video!

@@BongoToucan great! Have had it for I guess 9 months now and its great! For being relatively low cost, the quality in’s better than most and I probably won’t be taking it out of my setup until I go all in and get a Shure SM7B
@@MaxGnarly You're using it on the stock stand right? Any issues with keyboard/desk noise because of that? I'm pretty tempted to get one, seeing as I've found it on sale, but I dont want to end up too annoying in calls
@@BongoToucan Yes Ive always used it on the stock stand. I’ve never heard anything disruptive or annoying in my recordings or streams. Also for what it’s worth, nobody in my chat or on calls have ever mentioned bad about my mic.

Hey I think I accidentally bought this microphone because I bought a interface as well is there still a way to use this with the audio interface?
Yes , the microphone has multiple connection ports
after a good 2 years the mic suddenly turns down the master volume on my pc completely on its own, seemingly irrelevant if the volume down button is being pressed or not
its very annoying
