Honestly what I've played so far it's hands down my favourite miniature game at this moment in time, also, you say sorry so much are you sure you're not English? 😂😅
I have trouble understanding how it would take so long to make a rule book that is based on other games rules that are ment to be faster and easier than the original. Not complaining, just sounds weird. Personally I'm looking for a game where troop placement and location really matter. Meaning the position and angle is more important than the numbers on the dice you role. Good luck, the mini's look amazing. You should be proud of yourself and your team.
So when writing a rule book based on other games, there is a delicate balance between creating a fresh new experience and giving players something familiar while also providing that balance you want so troop placement and location matter. You want to provide a satisfying answer to the question, “why should I play this instead of what you’re basing it on?” Then there is the playtesting feedback, analyzing what the data means, and deciding what changes meet the criteria of the design direction. Plus, theres also the time availability factor and coordinating with those who are involved in the project.
I would pledge but I am unfortunately a poor grocery store worker. I was of the understanding that it had closed and never saved any minor funds for your beautiful looking sculpts. I'll see what I can do in another couple of months/years.
I’m guilty of impatience. I’d be lying if said otherwise. I want to one day walk into a random gaming store and see wargamers playing Ravaged Star. Seeing the immersive tabletop experience celebrated like that is a dream come true. So indeed I echo the words “So buy quickly, so things can move along.” LET’S MOVE!!!! ❤
you all know GW is going to file the lawsuits against ravaged star in two weeks cuz thats what happens when you blatantly copy an aesthetic of something else
As I understand, aesthetic is not legally protected? Specific designs are, but not art style/aesthetic. And now I'm probably going to go research it again because I don't remember any details from last time I went down a copyright/trademark/patent rabbit hole. XD Darn ADHD
The Ravaged Star miniature designs are unique from Citadel Miniatures. If they remind you of a certain aesthetic, that’s because they’re influenced by my love for chaos space marines. But also, my love for The Witcher aesthetic? And Vikings. And mortal combat and Willow. The names of the units are unique to the Ravaged Star universe. I’ll always be a GW fanboy. Good luck taking out Khorne from my psyche. It’s well-conditioned to be there lol. But I also find it very rewarding to see our community come together to make Ravaged Star happen. Have you seen all the minis? Did you see the Immari and Gorkog? I invite you to have a look and see the full aesthetic.
Without watching this video: Because it is a strategy to milk as much money from people as possible? Plenty of businesses love to feign a coming shortage or even halting of providing of a certain service or product (for one reason or another) to bump up sales, only to string along the customer by either prolonging the deal at the last second or actually ending it, but once again offering it after a certain time has passed once you see that demand is back up.
Did you literally make a comment critiquing a video... without even watching it? You are a complete moron in every sense of the word. I got one for you, without reading your commnt: Because it's a strategy to milk attention? Plenty of people love to feign care for the consumer without having any knowledge of the product as a means to spread hate towards others.
It’s definitely a strategy that companies use to generate that “urgency.” But as Matt said in the video, we’ve had requests to give 2 weeks notice for those who wish to preorder to accommodate pay cycles. Were this not the case my vote would be to close the pledge manager right away.
Mat has fantastic hair in this video.
💁🏼
Agreed.
Thank you for the heads up! Some of my play group has been waffling on splitting a box
That’s sweet man. Show me your paint jobs once you get them.

Thanks man! And thank you for supporting us.
Huh, i thought that would be over by now.. maybe ill go look..
Nice! If you decide on a war pack or a 2-player starter set, let me know which one you choose.
Can’t wait!
Same! It’ll be a dream come true seeing it played in legal gaming clubs and at conventions.
Heya guys. On Game Found...it says no new pledges are being accepted? I really want to grab a 2 player set
Hi, does Singapore available for delivery?

Bahahaha apparently us Canadians have that in common with you ❤😂
What about the bunker and those rooms.
What about them? Are you saying you want to visit your second home at the MWG Bunker? If so, I’m sure that can be arranged.

So buy quickly, so things can move along. Say it instead of this acting things up.

Which is my point, and leaves you open to copyright claims
