After my B.Tech….Mom wanted me to do M.Tech. Dad wanted MBA. Friends were preparing for MS and Sharma aunty’s son got a huge package at a company and all of these people were telling me what to do but nobody knew what I wanted to do after my B.Tech. Which is okay…because even I didn’t know what I wanted to do.
About 9 years back I had this confusion and I wish someone had given me the right information so that I atleast find out what I want. And that’s why I am making this video today. Because a wrong decision at this point can not only take you away from an exciting career but it can also leave you frustrated for life like that uncle who always keeps shouting at the neighbourhood kids.
What is most important to you right now? Let’s be honest….Money. But here’s the thing… If you work hard, all of these 4 options (MBA, M.Tech, Job and MS) will get you money. But by the end of this video….our job is find out which of these will get you the most money, least frustration, but most importantly….which of these will you actually enjoy doing!
So in today’s video, we are going to:
- Talk about the 4 after-B.Tech options i.e MBA, M.Tech, MS and Direct Job.
- Compare them based on their entrance exam, tuition fees, salary you can expect after completing the course and their advantages. For the job option, we will talk about the different jobs available.
- And finally, towards the end, I’ll give you a bonus tip that will help you decide which of these options is best for you. (esp. if you have no clue what to do)

I'm a Plant Engineer. I went the MBA route.
I worked while I went to school for my Bachelor's to gain experience. I worked as industrial maintenance/ electrician at a factory so that I could learn the application side hands on while studying the theoretical side at school.
I make well over 6 figures per year. I'm not even 30 years old yet.
Hopefully this encourages someone.
Dont give up. Work hard.

Pls make a video on how to land a job in one's dream company with whatever qualifications we have . I have suffered a lot in this job searching, I tried everything from doing mtech thinking it will add to my knowledge and trying everything to get into a tech firm in research and development to telecom companies but ended up landing a business development job and after 1 year and 4 months of experience I'm now pursuing an MBA to broaden my prospects in international trade and market . But the tough part is landing a job in the right firm at the right position otherwise the whole process goes haywire .Hope you understand my plight.

I absolutely agree to the point you mentioned in advantages of job… about university not teaching about commutation etc
I have done my mba in finance n now working in a private sector as business development executive
I want to inform you that, the major problem i found at the time of completing my all education was not understanding mathematics.
And later on i realised that mathematics was used every were, like those competitive exams also require maths. And if u r not good at mathematics u cant crack any thing.
And den if you get less score in competitive exams you need to compromise on collage n later no campus placement n no job for many months or years.
I personally faced these problems.
N still d job i m doing not paying me the salary wat i should get after doing my mba.
