I am an 18 y/o student. Invested in largecap stocks and is learning stocks market since past 2 yrs. I have divided my investment in following way :
Bluechip MF - 40%
Debt MF - 20%
Stocks - 40%, plus have 20k as FD for immediate needs..!
I lost some money in stocks initially when I tried gaining in short span, but since now I have been looking for long term since two yrs I am getting a handsome returns..

I'm right now saving for paying home rents for 5 months so that if any bad happens in my career then atleast I will a shelter to take care off.......I already have savings for the foods..So now the aim is for rent..And then it will be for vehicle that is two wheeler ....Because it will help me to reduce my travel time for atleast 5-6 years by 30-45 minutes with very more mileage....
I have been investing from the time I was in 9th standard. Back then in a year I had saved 5000. Then gave it to mum. Had opened savings account in post office in 8th standard.
Saving is an attitude never stop investing however small the amount may be.
