- Time to snipe some noblemen!
In this scenario, Ismail must do battle against the Aq Qoyunlu again, but this time has the support of the Qizilbash soldiers. However, your enemies have a big army, and their capital of Tabriz is well-defended.

In case people are wondering, you don't have to do the achievement before the first attack, I tried to rush it, failed miserably and then got to the last noble waaay after the attack was launched :D
It's funny, Georgians ended up betraying me when I played, it was quite late in the game, after giving them the relic, I can't remember exactly what was the trigger, maybe sending military units in their base, they are like "humm are you betraying us?" then turn against you. I got rid of them, and they go like "we shouldn't have tempted you". Damn straight!
I attacked Aq Qoyunlu first because red was going mostly versus them so I tagged along ^^ Plus they seemed much more of a threat
Was having the same experience as you, but the difference was the Georgians betrayed me as my 20+ Units entered the victory flag in Tabriz.
Was sweating a lot if the triggers would be bugged out because I never had the time to fight them. (Or knowing whether or not the Monaspa's would backstab me)
I didnt know that. I always rush them at start to take them out and collect villagers with monks. Though they would be a threat at start 11111
I went for the Georgians with elephants and light cav while they were waiting for the relic. Sprinkled about thirty elephants and twenty light cav throughout their base, then turned and killed everything they had almost instantly.
I think that they betray you, if/after you defeat Aq Qoyunlu first...
Always been fond of the idea of cross-civ uniques; part of the reason why I like seeing the Vietnamese teaming up with various different allies to see how they make use of the unique Skirms.
Just so you know, with a lot of these new campaigns in the DLCs, the enemies will attack a droves as a hoard, so a player needs build up their forces rather than rely only on a small force as a means of taking on objectives and moving around the map in order to avoid leaving their base undefended, especially when a timer says that a specific enemy will attack.
Those Qizilbash warriors gave bonus damage to infantry and camels. They're very good.
Kinda they work like cataphracts they beat anti cavalry units but get beaten by cavalry, still they are worse in comparison to them + no logistica, only advantage is gold cost at 60
Edit: they also have slower fire rate at 2.0
Ornlu references meowth, meowth evolves into persian, you play as the Persians in this scenario… O:
When u said rams are better at buildings than elephants, I must be in disagree with you (at least in castle age).
Elephants can deffend themselves against melee units and can stand ranged attacks pretty good. I made this campaign quite easily thanks to them (I have never made rams).
With ONLY 1 relic u got a large army.
*meanwhile Attila: Da hell???
33:50 Qizilbash: Ornlu, we r ur friend, right? Right? 🙂
🤣
Qizilbash waiting patiently to attack
You have to go to Trabiz first if you don't want your trade constantly harassed by war elephants lol
Especially in the restricted to castle age scenarios the persian cav archers felt amazing with their extra armor, finally a good support unit for my knights that can keep up with their mobility
Ornlu has my vote.
comment avoir l'achievement svp il faut 20 solbat dans la basse mauve c,est sa ?
Il faut capturer les 3 nobles
Persians are good in defense thanks to their unique imperial age tech, but monks and university techs are below average; if you like cavalry units perhaps you like them, but if you want a less monothematic civ you should pick another one.
i love the elephants they have! but yea they are quite cav heavy... unless you use crossbows and halbs :)
love the campagin! hope you get to use gunpowder and savars!
Of all the times in recent Aoe2 campaign history, I never once got caught offguard be a betrayal like with the Georgians here. I figured "Hey, I'll be playing as them soon, might as well be nice to them" forgetting how I sacked their city in the last scenario. But when they betrayed me I just went "You know what, I'm just outside of Tabriz, I'm just going to leave you be" and I placed a castle in their way so they wouldn't bother me. The only enemy I spared that scenario where the Georgians. So I guess I'm not wholely genocidal here.
I think they resign if you kill too many of their units. I placed two castles along my border with them after they betrayed me and after 10-15 minutes ignoring them and letting my castles kill whatever came my way, they resigned, saying they regretted betraying me 😂
Did you use the taunts?
Hey, just a technical remark, maybe you should leave the voicelines a bit higher, we really cannot hear anything when dialogues pop.
Ismail fights both Day and Night
Only issues i have with this campaigns is the difficulty. I'm so used to playing against swarms of enemies that i end up completing everything in one day and then i just end up feeling empty
I was trying to find some like extreme cringe text I probably got from Aq. I guess I probably took longer than you, so you didn't get it... It was some straight up lifted meme text or something, I can't remember what it was (which is why I came here) but it was like really bad stereotypical millennial game dev cringe, super oof.
P.S. that lady is straight up crazy, her brother dies in a battle he chose to fight in like so many others and she wants to kill the man he freely followed into that battle... Evil and deranged
I have no idea why they show Ismail as a completely inasane nad arrogant person, like any other leader, he also had his own darksidel but at te same time he is of great importance in the history of Iran, as the safavid empire became the first iranian empire rulling that region. Before this dlc coming out, there was acustom campaing for Ismail, I really recommend you and everybody to play that one. Really well made and the narrator is much more fair.
Is there one on Selim too.
Probably because Ismail was almost invincible before he encounter Selim.
@@人的本质是双标 indeed. He was Iranian Napoleon prior to Chaldrain.
@@人的本质是双标 up to the Chaldoran war, he didn't suffer any defeat in his life !!!
@@frankieseward8667 U mean in the custom campaing that I suggested ? The last mission of that is the war of Ismail and Selim, but if you r looking for a campaing about ottomans, play Rise of Ottomans, there are one or two missions about Selim as well.
Yes playing Shah Ismael with zoroastrian symbols, while elephants coming from Tabriz. Logic too much very much history.
