Giving Legolas the ring is a bad idea because the stronger the bearer of the ring the stronger the power boost/corruption. Hence why Gandalf and Galadriel where incredibly tempted.

@@OMartinez91 It's complex, it's one of those cursed magic items that worms its way into your heart and mind. It all depends on the person's heart, some might be stable enough to resist just seeing it, others might just see it and have to have it. That being said holding it is defiantly more dangerous.

OriginalPiMan Though, the three rings were not as corrupting as the others, because the elf Sauron enlisted to forge all the rings made the three in secret, and they were not touched by Sauron. That's why they can get away with wearing those all the time. I believe Gandalf even has one of them.

My favorite song by a one-hit wonder that isn't "the hit" is probably, that I'm thinking of it, "Give Him A Flower" by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown. He almost ended up starting a band with Jimi Hendrix but the organist needed to be institutionalized for an extended schizophrenic attack because he already had issues but had a major breakdown when someone slipped LSD into his water. The only reason for Arthur Brown having a hit at all was because Jimi had told some stations to play some of his music. Arthur Brown was surprisingly influential and inspired people like Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson.
"Give him a Flower" is a song about taking the piss out of the whole flower power peace and love ideology without reasonable moderation.

I mean that in a good way.
When you speak Karl, I always feel like I'm being told a story by a really close friend in a homey pub and I cherish it.
Also Brad, the way you place images around Karl in post production blows me away every time with how simultaneously you keep the green screen filled with humor and the original idea of video. Your ability to adapt to the ever changing story telling style AND keep asking the right questions to keep the story telling organic is just the bees knees.

Gandalf gave a Hobbit the ring because they're the least innately powerful sapient beings, and the ring amplifies the owner's power only by a certain amount. The stronger the holder is, the more powerful it makes them and the harder it is to resist. If Legolas got it.. well, yeah, he'd be batshit insanely overpowered. I love that you brought up the Fountains of Wayne song from Scary Movie. It's strangely too good for the movie, but can't be found outside the soundtrack CD.

Only seen the movies, but hobbits get the ring and not Legalos BECAUSE of how powerful he would be.
The ring would corrupt and use him to get back to Sauron.
That is how I understand it anyway.
    Absolutely love y'alls channel. Cheers!

Don’t forget the fact that Joseph Williams, lead singer of Toto, also did the singing for adult Simba in The Lion King. What a legend.

If I remember correctly,The elf own the ring of there own. Also they are too powerful to wield the ring of power. It will corrupt them.

Joseph Williams, the lead singer of Toto, was the singing voice for Simba in the Lion King. So 1) if you've seen it you've listen to Toto and 2) the dude that sings Africa sings as a lion in Africa

A number of record labels put their most successful musicians together to record albums.
    Two examples are;
Nuclear Blast Allstars - The best lineup from the Nuclear Blast Label (Soilwork, In Flames, Arch Enemy, etc etc)
    and
Roadrunner United - Same idea, but Roadrunner. (Slipknot, Korn, etc etc)

If you actually listen to their discography, Toto is a damn good band. Steve Lukather is actually one of the best guitarist ever, a full on virtuoso.

Avantaisa and Northern Kings. Both super bands. Northern Kings are 4 power metal singers from different bands. Avantaisa has band members ranging from Helloween, to Kiss.

The ring doesn’t go to Legolas because he’d be massively corrupted exactly like Sauron

My fav supergroups are Them Crooked Vultures; Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters, and John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin. and Travelling Wilburys. Bob Dylan and George Harrison are probably the most notable in there but there are still huge names, too many to go one about

TOTO - When touring Japan for the first time, thought they were massive there when they arrived as their name was everywhere, big huge neon billboards with TOTO in massive letters... They later found out that TOTO was the biggest brand of toilets there. This came from their own mouths in an interview.

I must be the only person in the world who owns both Fountains of Wayne albums!
I saw them play Redding in 2001!
Check out 'sink to the bottom' or 'radiation vibe' from the first album as their best songs.
