Don't feel too bad Simon, I've lived in this country 50 of my 51 years & I only know what a few of those things mean. & I even played for one summer as a kid. (Hated it, didn't want to, but I did.)
My coworkers and I spent the entire Crowdstrike debacle wondering if Crowdstrike would be discounted enough for us to buy it. And wonder of wonders, we actually *were* allowed to demo Falcon a few weeks ago. We decided to go with a competitor, but it was fun. Simon, the reason for simultaneous updates is Crowdstrike is designed to recognize *malware*. Malware gets updated so fast that it's essentially a cat and mouse game between virus hashes being identified, Crowdstrike (and equivalents) being updated to catch them, and then the malware being updated to change the hash. Staggered rollout increases the odds of an update being useless.

I utilize oracle at work, and I make steel roofing/siding. We use it for scheduling orders and sending them to the machines, and managing inventory.
Epic Daikatana reference, Kevin!
Why thank you!
I was ready for them to follow the solarwinds strategy and rename the company before the end of the month.
Lol Simon's off his rocker on this one
Crowdstrike happened on my birthday. I chose to believe the internet broke on my birthday because of just how significant a day it is. But truly, it’s still the fault of Microsoft. Prove me wrong 😑 Simmons melt down over baseball was the perfect opening pitch to this awesome episode 😂
Glad you enjoyed!
I love it. Depending on the length of flight. I will pay $100s extra, just to fly in a wonderfully quiet and smooth Airbus.
