I’d like to add Pelipper onto this list for when it comes to Zacian teams! Perfect switch-in for Fire and Ground moves, disrupts Groudon’s Drought by setting its own rain and can drop a Weather Ball on it, slow Tailwind for some speed control, strong Flying STAB, and of course Wide Gaurd for protecting Zacian from P-Blades, Spout/Origin Pulse, Calyrex signature moves, etc., as well as being good offensively into Incineroar which people would be inclined to bring vs. Zacian. Zacian is also so good into Miraidon and Raging Bolt which are two mons that Pelipper would be terrified of but Zacian has the literal perfect coverage to deal with them with Play Rough and can Behemoth Blade when they Tera into Fairy as well as outspeeding Miraidon! I’ve pretty much been playing Zacian since I started dabbling in Regulation G like a week ago and have had lots of fun and success using the pelican with sword doggo on a balance archetype!
I built a team around that same concept for Reg G! Unfortunately, it takes a lot in order to get the maximum value out of Kyogre in this meta given how strong Calyrex, Terapagos, and Sun teams are.
I've been using Giratina Origin form with Glimmora and Grimmsnarl. They have busted synergy together and Tera Gjost Giratina actually doing big damage with shadow force and shadow sneak. Rounded out with scarf urshify water, incin rilla core. Pretty fun team
@weightedundermountainofbook Powerful physical grass STAB from Power Whip helps beat Groudon and other Kyogre and can threaten an OHKO on Flutter Mane if ignored. It also naturally resists Raging Bolt and Rillaboom and has an easier time dealing damage to them with Triple Axel or Play Rough
Anybody gonna mention that Goodra gets feint? Feint, icy wind, etc. Some great support options, even on something like an av set. Also Blunder Policy Kyruem white is hilarious. Not good, necessarily... but hilarious. Pair it with just basic fake out and redirection, and it does that really unique thing of setting speed control by attacking. It's like getting speed boost... on a restricted with real restricted levels of damage.
I kinda want to say Araquanid is a sleeper pick, resists Kyogre and Groudon, gets Wide Guard for support, but that's where it falls, what do you think?
Hey I was wondering how effective foul play really is on wo-chien due the the opponents having a lower attack stat because of tablets of ruin. Do you think its still worth running? Although I don't see an other viable move to go in this slot. Also great content thank you for all your upload they really help a bunch!
A support move that wasn’t mentioned in the section for Mienshao is Wide Guard. In a format where a lot of the restricteds have really strong spread moves, spread debuffs (snarl, icy wind, breaking swipe, etc), I find that this move comes in handy quite a bit. It’s also really the only good WG user in the game, while still having the other benefits mentioned in the video.
@@weightedundermountainofbook probably not, but i'm the biggest tsareena fan on the planet, so i'm just happy to see her getting more usage this season :)
@@GenieFarms Theres two sets you can use. Seed sower set beats miridon and calys pretty consistently, and its also great into groudon and kyorge. On groudon teams you use harvest leech seed stall with pollen puff. I got rank 5 on ladder with it and ill make a vid on it soon
Strangely, Pollen Puff isn't affected by Triage. Floral Healing gets +3 priority as a result of Triage, which is massive as it even goes before Extreme Speed and redirection (which are +2). As a plus, it goes from 50% healing to 66% healing on grassy terrain, leading to great Rillaboom synergy.

I remember using Tsareena+ Scarf Kyogre back in VGC19. Also Gothitelle + MMawile was one of my favourite pairs.

Mienshao my beloved
I’ve been using Tsareena ever since Reg A glad it’s getting recognition again :)
Very cool
Is there any particular reason to use tsareena over farigraf?
@@weightedundermountainofbook Well, maybe not anything glaring. But trop kick always lowering attack combined with beating Urshifu R is pretty nice

Just as a general psa he left out with comfey is that it gets tailwind on top of trick room for speed control.
8:05 Wo-Chien Supremacy!!!!
Maushold supports Calyrex Shadow very well to use nasty plot with follow me, feint and helping hand.
You can even use calyrex with covert cloak to counteract snarl
As a maushold lover, I am very glad to hear this
I just wanna ask why use tsareena when you have farigraf? It's strictly better then tsareena as it also beats calyrex-I with imprison trickroom.
Glimmora with something like eteratus stall is worth a try
I made a new trick room team and I'm unbeatable so far. Kind of 15-2 in Showdown.
The best part is going with uncommon picks
Wo-Chien - Glimmora Core is back baby!

wide lens power whip, hjk, triple axel tsareena is real queen
I used tsareena with my choice specs typhlosion-hisui in ranked ladder(bo1) I hit rank 2 as well guess I am truly a sleeper
Both comfey and meinshao ready to go!

Tsareena Sweet scent + origin pulse Kyogre could be broken
Is corrosion glimmora supposed to work vs steel types? Cause it doesnt on showdown.
Comfey Terapagos and lugia is good

It is not affected by tablets
I think Skele is a sleeper pick
Facts
the basic spread for Tsareena is 252 atk 252 spe?
What? Neil vouching for Roaring Moon? 😉

That’s what I’m saying, pair it with corrosion glimorra and shadow tag gothitelle

That Incin set isn’t new they used it in sword & shield but you wouldn’t know lol
