Hey how are you? Remember we talked about water and temp? I am seeing germination now (Western NY) from October 1 with high quality rye and fescue. By the way I like to water by hand at sunrise, just something to do while I drink my coffee before leaving for work, but we got a lot of rain this month.
Another We Workin Sunday in the books. You, Cam and my man Polo are crushing the RUclips lawncare game. Great content Turf and you get extra credit for 🧢 I need one of those! 🤣 #weworkin
wow totally great info and tips thru and thru Rob ! And I have just adapted to the yellow spikes which are always on point . Take care Lawn looking good too.
Good to see you TurfTherapy. I hope all is well with you and your family. Thanks, great information shared. I wish I could follow it... Texas Drought + water restrictions in my area don't work. I'll do it when I can for sure. But watering the garden is priority for me.
Any effects towards your PH levels would be fleeting. SOP is not an effective way of lower your PH if that's your desire. However, Ammonium Sulfate is a solid option for doing so over an extended period. Citric Acid and Elemental Sulure are other options that work much faster but must be used with caution due to it's volatile nature. I hope this helps thanks for watching 🌱
@@rudy5454 Great question, Rudy. Magnesium Sulfate could be used if you have a soil test that exhibits low magnesium in your soil. But because it doesn't release any hydrogen ions, it wouldn't be feasible to adjust your PH conditions. Furthermore, Epson Salt isn't a refined product for turf management itself. You'd be better off supplementing with products designed for turf and keeping the Epsom Salt for muscle aches and such. Hope this helped.

I'm a firm believer that you can have both! 😆 What are your water restrictions in Texas like? Thank for watching 😁🌱
It was 105 every day this summer in Texas. That’s why lol.
It’s been 95° plus for the last 30 days in Germany with less than 2” of rain in the past 60 days.
@@TurfTherapy drought is eveywhere
It’s Brutal Bro. Nervous about the winter for sure. But my brand new lawn hung in there like a seasoned Vet 😆
My lawn always sucks in the summer but when fall comes it is good looking.
The average person with Cool-Season lawns has a nice lawn in the spring and fall. But the summer is where basic agronomy truly shines.
Hello. Will Sulfate of Potash lower your PH? Thanks.
