"I wish you understood so i could complain to you about what i just saw." 😂😂
I love how they were genuinely worried about you
love how your co-hosts checked on you at the end when you were a little ‘agitated’..the way he put his paw on your arm and looked at you like ‘seriously dude, are you ok’…damn..put a spark of warmth in this tired old withered heart☺️
They’re good boys. They always checking on me to make sure I’m okay, especially if they think I’m sad
That was awesome.. they really care
When a dog shows such preocupation with their owner, you can tell he's a person who treats his dogs well. Dogs always payback the care they receive.
I love doggos
Sweet and intelligent, could feel he was upset and was checking in on him❤
Don't feel bad, after this film _most_ people end up just kind of sitting there in silence for a good half hour, thinking existentially.
Lol I will never forgive them for the ending
I saw this movie when I was on active duty in the Marine Corps I was a NCO on duty when a bunch of privates and pfc’s told me about this being a monster movie fully knowing what the ending was I wanted to make them do push-ups until they couldn’t anymore simply cuz of the ending I was heated
I laughed, and people got mad
100% accurate lmao
this has got to be the mostt shicking ending in any mmovie i have ever seen. the only one to dojust that to me, the only other i can think that came close was sutter island with leo. def one of those wtf just happened moments haha
I didn’t know it was possible to laugh this much during this movie.
He’s a blast to edit for. LoL
I didn’t think he (or anyone, really) could make the shower scene in American History X hilarious, but here we are. LoL
I heard that Stephen King actually liked Frank Darabont's Ending of "THE MIST" more than his own Ending of it in his own Novel "THE MIST".
Factual 🤙🏼
That's cuz he's got a screw loose 😂 That man loves gory fucked up shit
That is true. The novels ending was ...not good. And to add salt to the wound, Darabonts ending was inspired by a line in the novel. So King had the ending right infront of him but didnt see it. But it made for a movie you remember forever.
GREAT reaction, dude! I had read King's story many times before I watched this movie. I was so excited to watch it! Thankfully nobody spoilered the ending for me. I was SO EFFIN PISSED! And absolutely horrified. I just can't imagine having to shoot my own kid. Then the soldiers drive up? NO. Just NO. Thank you so much for posting this. Subscribed.
Stephen King has an amazing imagination but the man can't write a third act to save his life, lol. It's one of the few cases where adaptations of the work usually surpass the original.
Ya know - if they threw me out of the building - I would be breaking alllllll the windows and letting that mist into the store.
lmao I personally love this ending. It's horrific and that's what a horror movie needs
Lol I will never forgive them for letting the little boy see his daddy shoot him in the face
Your pups are your family. It’s incredible to see how they care and worry for you.
This movie has one of the darkest endings in film history.
Great reaction as usual. Have great weekend brother!
They are good boys. My babies are always checking up on me. Appreciate that. I hope you have a good one as well
Remember when David's son said, "Don't let the monsters get me, Daddy!" ?
He promised him he wouldn't.
That's why.
Probably the most disturbing ending to a movie in the history of cinema. Great job frank darabont.
Ollie putting the villain to sleep is one of the greatest moments in movie history. Crowds cheered when it was in theaters. When he does the double tap ppl were clapping and yelli g fuck ya.
This reaction, especially at the end and the commentary, lack there of, was gold. The concerned doggos at the end were adorable and just highlight how distressing this was.
I do appreciate the approach of the commentary, and instead of just bashing the movie or character, is just this pure attempt at processing it. Despite how many feel about it, you got to admit, it hits differently when something leaves you with the need to gather your thoughts. I think we need more of that. 😅
This ending shows what true HORROR is- not monsters or crazy preacher women but the universe making all your decisions into nightmares.
Parents have the hardest time with this movie, for obvious reasons.
Your reaction to the reveal ending was hands down the BEST reaction I've EVER seen since I've been watching reaction vids. You TOTALLY channeled my original feelings when that 'object' emerged & your question "who tf does this to a movie?!?!?" finished me off! You're pure gold sir! 👌🏽🔥💯 PS your dog checking on you was a beautiful thing!! 😢
I’m glad somebody else was mad like me. I’m still mad at this movie 🤣🤣. And my pups are good boys, anytime they think I’m upset they check on me like that
Much appreciated. He’s a blast to edit for just because of stuff like that. LoL
@@J_EOMReacts Awww... the first reaction I saw of you a few wks back they had me in tears (think it was Saving Private Ryan?) They KNEW the exact moment your demeanor changed (gravesite?) & I think brown pup came to you first, really looking into your face & 'communicating' with you, totally worried about your well being! It's moments like that I almost succumb & get a dog. My bestie keeps saying it'll cure my loneliness for good but I'm scared I'm too selfish and 'old in the tooth' to make the adjustment! Would hate to do that to a loyal, selfless, loving dog! But yh... you've got me thinking again!☺️😇🤔
34:03 Dog be like: "You good?... You wanna talk about it?" lol
They good boys
even the dog snapped towards the screen like “WTF JUST HAPPENED”😂
🤣🤣🤣
lmfao "he gonna need the therapists therapist" got me xD Overall awesome reaction and the dog edits were perfect too. subscribed!
Much appreciated and welcome to the family!
Hes gonna Need ALL the therapists! lol
I love your dog and your reaction. What a sweet dog for checking on you!
They are good boys. They always check up on me when they think something wrong.
The puppies coming in clutch with the comfort in the end. This channel is so good.
Oh man, your dog is the goodest boy there is. He loves you so much and was like "aww homie its ok".
Dogs are precious we don’t deserve them
What a good puppy! That made me tear up more then anything!
He always checking on me. He’s a good boy
I was the same way after seeing this movie. Took me like 3 days to recover from the brain trauma.
Lol I don’t know if I will ever fully recover
In King's novella, they drive out into the mist in search of a safe haven that may or may not exist. The director changed it, and Stephen King himself, a vocal fan of Darabont's revised ending, described it as "the most shocking ending ever," and said, "there should be a law passed stating that anybody who reveals the last 5 minutes of this film should be hung from their neck until dead."
🤣🤣🤣 damn he took that next level
yeah no.
this is hands down, in my top 3 worst endings.
i deadass memory holed it, cause it pissed me off so freakin much when i seen it in 2007.
as if ppl that survived multiple onslaughts, would be the ones that would kill their own child.
those ppl that would do that, are the ones dying in the middle.
and they did that cause they seen a being that is not even interessted in their car, whilst the monsters they fend off, were out for blood, like a scourge sent by god?
if anything, the fact that the behemoth didn't even care, should've given them hope, that not all mist beasts are onetrack minded killers.
only other illogical thing i'm going to mention. there's a 1000 tiny baby bugs that hatch out of one human, if not even more.
the mist hasn't been there for months, so we have to consider that those spiderbugs, at best live 10 days, and rely on something in the mist.
aside from that, their agression most likely comes from the agony of shedding themselves atleeast 4 times on one day, at bare minimum, a super high running metabolism, and the brain being programed to find as much food and nesting ground as fast as possible, no matter the price, cause their flame burns bright, but not long.
this the price you pay for super fast growing.
the earth would be in no time, so full of spiderbugs, that no convoy with a rolling open reproduction buffet, wouldn't be firing constantly, to protect the buffet that isn't even hidden.
a tarp would've made a world of diffrence.
but for some reason, him looking at the back of the truck, and have the short hair lady stare at him as the truck drives away, was just too much to ask, so that it atleast would've made a lick of sense, as to why the tank or the G.Is weren't heard by them, cause they would be firing constantly in this set up. and guns are loud man...
we seen the spiderbugs target weapons, and not give a F, so why would this be any diffrent here?
somebody tell SK how numbers work, cause i feel like he doesn't know math all to well. also, maybe if he writes insects, he could look into their general behaviour, as we have multiple insects that procreate in this manner.
and you guessed it, once they want to put their eggs into you they go for, get that shit in, or die trying, with zero chill.
but, a good reminder for my own authoring, stay concise with the examples from which you extract your ideas.
and if you want to be fantastical too much, then be very careful how you create more drama, with the fantastical.
cause again, that ending is worse than when my school went to see how our water treatment system works, because i've seen vats of shit there, and this was still less shit than this.
@@DMitr0 that's a nice opinion bro, be a shame if I didn't care.
@@DMitr0 Interesting opinion, but I very much do disagree with it.
@@DMitr0 writing whole paraphraps about a fictional movie that you did not like is so funny to me😭
Bro your dog is awesome. He was genuinely concerned that you were distressed. It takes a good person to train em like that coz the love is mutual. That alone told me you were not being this "on camera" character like many other youtubers who fake being nice.
This is actually who you are on camera and off camera. Much respect
I truly appreciate that. This comment means a lot to me. I thank you for the kind words.
You don't have to train a dog to be concerned about you. He is obviously a decent dog owner and loves his dogs, so they love him. When he is stressed watching the film, they sense that and wanna make sure he is OK.
I really wonder how this dude lived his life after this happened.. most people probably wouldn't be able to live with that, but he seems like a strong person so idk.. this movie is such a masterpiece 🔥🔥
When your doggos came over to check on you and make sure you are ok, I literally cried. It is one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. Dogs are so much more awesome than humans
If you haven't, check out the reactions to Private Ryan and Green Mile on the channel. If you thought this was the dogs being supportive, you'll want to check those out.
And titanic
Gotta love them dogs! They love Daddy!
Your reaction to the ending scene was just hilarious! I went from crying to laughing lol
🤣🤣🤣 I was a little upset
"I wish you understood, so that I could complain to you, about what the fuck I just saw!" 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I wanted to tell him so bad
@@J_EOMReacts This statement sums up basically 98% of dog people at all times.
This movie definitely puts you through the emotional ringer.
Definitely
6:32 I love the added entertainment of the pups 😅 him all fiddlin around and then getting under the covers
*bonks head*
"OOOH!" 😱
😂
"Shut up" 😤
LOL!!! 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Fun fact...the blond woman, and the older man he shoots in his vehicle and the woman early in the movie that left to get to her kids are ALL part of the first few seasons of The Walking Dead.
I'm so surprised that no one else picked up on this. Of course, Carol was still very much around right up until the finale of The Walking Dead. I wonder if she will feature in the spinoff series about Daryl?
You know a movie messed you up when your dogs gotta check on you 😂😂😂 I loved this movie cause it was crazy
"im not leaving the store, thats my home address" had me rolling haha
🤣🤣🤣 glad you enjoyed the video
Oh I definitely did, I was just waiting for the end and wasn't disappointed lol
@@brandimurray1984 🤣🤣🤣 I didn’t see that ending coming
Oh me either, I had read the book and that ending GOT ME!!
This movie shows us how bad we can get and treat each other. If we had more movies like this we would have more love and respect for each other. God bless
"My life for you. I lay down my life for you." That's what the cultists say for Randall Flagg from The Stand in King's Dark Tower universe. The painting in the beginning isn't Eastwood but Roland Deschaine, another main character in the Dark Tower series and there's other connections in King's other books too.
Funny how people that want to "sacrifice" people, don't themselves want to be sacrificed.
Tell the lady, if she believes in sacrifice, then she should demonstrate her willingness to go herself.
Your dogs are totally awesome. That was so sweet to see after an ending like that. Your dogs are precious.
Thank you for showing my babies some love
This has to be the funniest Mist ending reaction I’ve seen 😂
🤣🤣🤣 I was mad
@@J_EOMReacts That ending was crazy 😦
Especially at the end when he says he's just been sitting there for 20 minutes lmaooo
Dude, I'm not sure if anyone else has told you this, but absolutely do NOT cut down someone else's tree. Tree law is no joke. Depending on the type of tree, you might find yourself sued for a couple hundred thousand dollars.
In some places trees are considered property of the HOA or City if they are on the sidewalk which is even worse because you get stuck with it
The dogs checking on daddy is maybe in my top five favorite moments on YT so far.
Awesome reaction! That ending gets everybody but your reaction was pure gold!! And of course, the puppers being such a good boy...enough said! 🐶💜
They really are good boys. They always checking on me when they think something wrong. I’m glad you been enjoying
I heard a siren like that once when visiting family in Washington. I think it was for tidal waves or something. They were doing one of their regular tests to make sure everything was working and I wasn't expecting it at all. Felt for a moment like the world was ending 😂 Every dog in town lost their shit too 😅
🤣🤣🤣 I would have lost my shit right with the dogs
It's one hell of a twisted ending but this movie isn't about monsters at all. It's about humanity and how we turn against each other based on our beliefs.
Yup. The actual monsters are a metaphor. The real monsters are humans. I prefer the short story over the movie, but I also enjoyed watching the movie in the cinema. Stephen King was one of my fav authors during my teens and my twenties. After that, I sort of outgrew him. But I will always have incredibly fond memories of the nightmares that his books gave me and he's still basically the best horror writer in the world. My personal faves are Salem's Lot, The Stand, Cujo, Misery and The Shining (prefer the books over the adaptations, but also enjoyed the mini-series of Salem's Lot and The Stand and the movies of the others).
Your reaction made me laugh so hard man. It's a joy to watch you
Thanks, and it’s much appreciated.
Hope you enjoy the other videos!
I truly appreciate that and I’m glad you enjoyed the video
Your dog's reaction when you scream 6:25 😂
LMAO!!!!! One of the GREATEST most GENUINE reactions to an AWESOME movie I've EVER seen!!! And your dogs...PRICELESS!!!
🤣🤣🤣 glad you enjoyed
OMG you’re now my favourite reactor!!! You’re so hilarious to watch react keep up the good work 👌🏻
I greatly appreciate that. Seeing comments like this is amazing. Thank you
🤣🤣🤣🤣 _my blood pressure went up_ 🤣🤣 then told the dog he wished he understood him so he could complain about the movie haha
You deserve to be famous bro. You got me laughing my ass off at 2am
Watching this reaction makes me wanna see a react to Se7en lol
He’s gonna get to that eventually for sure. Stoked to hear people enjoy the content like this. Makes it so much easier to put in the hours.
Much appreciate the love and support.
@@EOMReacts I just joined the Patreon! I know the work it takes to edit man. All respect to you. You do a GREAT job btw, the way its edited, the censor over his mouth. It's just perfect lol You guys are growing faster than any other reaction channel. You have as many subscribers in a couple months than some other channels have gotten in a year. And I cant say it enough, of course it has to do with the talented edits and the great genuine funny and heartfelt reactions, great concept to include the cute dogs too, but I also think a part of it helps too that you guys react to some films other channels don't even touch. Keep THAT going. Everywhere else is just about the poll winners and theyre missing out on all the other meat in between on other films. Semi pro a great example. Nobody else would ever touch that, ever. But yall did and it was great! God bless!
I keep coming back to this reaction because your dogs are the sweetest dogs in the whole world and I'm a big guy to have to say you are so lucky that they love you like that you are very lucky
90% here for your hilarious commentary (working my way through the channel) and at least 10% here for your amazing dogs! They're so in tune with you and caring, bro, it's awesome to see.
A fun fact about Thomas Jane's painting is that it wasn't Clint Eastwood but a character based off his character The Man With No Name, that would be Roland Deschain from The Dark Tower series also written by Stephen King.
Thankee sai 👍
@@Whiskey0880😍😍
They changed the ending from the King story. After he saw it he said he liked this ending better.
First time I saw this, I loved and hated the ending at the same time. That took guts. One of my favorite endings now.
I respect the hell out of them for going for it. Lol I was just mad they made the little boy look at his dad first
Those pups are so sweet to come and check on you!
Glad to be be back with you, and I have to say, I am very grateful that you you do not preface your video with a loud, ear-blasting introduction, as others like to do. It's easier on me, not to have to mute my volume gain for a while before the content starts.
I made a group of friends watch this and they wanted to kill me and feed me to the mist creatures afterward 😂
I wanted to do that to our editor for recommending it
All the posters in TJ's studio at the start are influences on this film. The Birds. The Thing. And no, it wasn't (quite) Clint Eastwood he was working on...it's Roland from the Dark Tower (way before the disappointing DT movie was made. Idris Elba was badass, but...).
Specifically Roland, in that poster, is passing through The Thinny - a Lovecraft nightmare place between dimensions...which is where the mist comes from.
love your little screeches when you get startled 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 I never knew I made those until I started doing this and watching the videos back
This movie would have been utterly forgotten if not for that ending. Personally, I love it! As a mother of 3 boys I totally relate to the dad's struggle. He truly believed all hope was lost, and rather than see his son and everyone else be subjected to a horrific and excruciating death he chose to sacrifice himself in order to afford them a quick and painless end. He knew he only had 4 bullets and chose to literally be ripped apart by the monsters rather than allow them to suffer. What a tragic outcome to befall a true hero
I've always wondered since I first saw the ending of this movie was how would what he did be treated by other humans? Would he be given a pass given the circumstances or would be he be charged with manslaughter as a minimum?
@@jesseblackmore8338 I don't see how any court could convict him under these circumstances. He might get charged but no jury would vote him guilty.
@@tgfitzgerald I don't either but if this took place in the real world of today, nothing would surprise me.
@@jesseblackmore8338 True dat!
love how the puppy at the end just be staring at you like whats up with this dude
Your dogs would make excellent service dogs. They stare and stare at you and are perfectly in tune with your feelings. They’re such good dogs 🤗
That wasn’t Clint Eastwood he drew. That was an Easter egg for Stephen Kings ‘The Gunslinger’. The gunslinger looks a bit like Eastwood in his Spaghetti Western phase.
The gunslinger is the hero of his Dark Tower series which directly or indirectly touches on all his stories. The gunslinger’s quest is stop shit like the Mist from happening.
Roland of Gillead of the line of eld.
You fellas have clearly not forgotten the face of your father's

When the tank comes out of the mist...The Team America theme should have started playing to lighten the mood.
One of my fave movies but man I love your babies knew you were upset and wanted to comfort you. Perfect touch to such a shocking ending
“Do you think mommies ok”….No. “mommy loves you”…..mommy “loved you” 😂 had me dying.
This movie showed me to never give up…. The tank is just around the corner.
This video right here proves without a shadow of a doubt that Dogs are mans best friend. They sensed that you were troubled and insisted on comforting you. Wonderful doggos
Dogs are precious we don’t deserve them
"I knew she was about that action" as j desperately tries not to throw up he still gives us comedy gold commentary.
Fact.
Lol this movie was rough
I could not keep my eyes off that sweet doggo
The movie was filmed where I live in Shreveport Louisiana and my husband was an extra in it. We got to go to the wrap party and meet everyone
YOUR REACTION IS ALL OF OURS AND CHECKING ON YOU WAS SO SWEET
I cried SO hard the first time I saw this film. Seeing your dogs try to comfort you made me cry again...
It’s a very sad movie. They good boys, they always comfort me when they think I’m upset.
@@J_EOMReacts that's what the best dogs do!

The dogs checking on you. That is the touch of love!
They good boys. They always checking on me
The mother whose children are at home (Melissa Mcbride) was not supposed to survive the end of the film... But the actors and the directors thought she had acted so well that they decided to make her reappear at the end with his kids.
Lol that makes sense how she got to the end. She was protected with plot armor
Carol always survives til the end..
@@AgentAO7 Yes, thanks to the screenwriters who always change the destinies of the characters she plays 😉
Absolutely Shocking.
Your dogs are a blessing.
I watched this in the movies with a friend. When it ended, everyone was quiet. As quiet as one can be. My friend and I were quiet all the way to his home. Hahahahaha
It is really hard to find a peace in the heart and mind after watching that ending for the first time in life. Everybody watching that feel it. I read some ratings and people watching that in cinema in preimere week left cinema completely silent without emotions.
i love the dogs at the end :)
My babies had to make sure I was okay
Aww, I love that your pup had to make sure you were ok. ❤
Oh hon, you are precious! I've never laughed so hard at a reaction - ever. Please check out Dale and Tucker vs Evil. It's hilarious. And the ending won't tick you off. 😃
Lol it’s definitely on the list especially after I just watched Cabin in the Woods
Wonderful! Oh and you might want to check out Knights of Badassdom, it's a horror/comedy as well as Strange Wilderness, total comedy.
Man i love dog
Dude I want you're dogs..the way they look at you and the way he gave u paws is so cute dude OMG. This reaction was cool and you're dogs are so incredible.
It was a really good movie and when i watched it many years ago the ending really got me, the sad part is things like this have happened in real life, where the prospect of being captured then tortured or violated lead family's do doing the unthinkable
I hope these "as we go" helps
1. In context it is similar to what King did with The Stand except in this case it's monsters and not a virus.
2. Jeffery DeMunn is known as a favorite of director Frank Darabont, who has cast him in all four of his
films: "The Shawshank Redemption" (1994), "The Green Mile" (1999), and "The Mist" (2007). All King
adaptations. He was also in what King himself says is the best adaptation of his work. "Storm of the Century".
3. William Sadler also was in Shawshank and The Green Mile.
4. Frances Sternhagen was in "Misery" by King.
5. Marcia Gay Harden kills it.
6.The big guy that goes out with the rope around his waste was going to be King doing that role himself.
7. This is not how the book ends. Darabont wanted this ending. King later said that as horrific that it is he likes
better than his..
8. Stephen King. You're welcome.
This movie is a one time watch for sure. 100% disturbing and grotesque to the max. Go hug your co-pilots, man. ☝️❤️
Edit: I typed that before your buddy did the sweetest thing ever when he heard you in distress. My guy does the same thing when he sees me get worked up about something. Dogs are a gift to humanity.
I swear dogs are precious. We don’t deserve them

I f..ng love your dog, he's so worried about you, he needed to check on you haha
I just started this- paused it prior to playing to say that I saw this in the theater when it came out. I had a toddler- a first-time mom and it was the first time going to the movies since they had been born. I cried for like half an hour in the parking lot. Rekt.
The art at the beginning was from Stephen King novels. The "Clint Eastwood" painting was The Gunslinger from the Dark Tower series.
I usually hit the like button at the end- but as soon as I saw the edit for the first "Oh Sh-" I slapped it so fast. XD
Still the best reaction ending in this channel. LoL
“I’m not leaving the store. This is my home address.” 😂😂💀💀
