There is some really good attention to detail and foreshadowing in this movie! The cliff the last graboid is stampeded off of is the same cliff that Val was pissing off of at the start of the movie right before he stampedes Earl off the truck. And notice how Earl is wrapped up in his blanket and worms his way out of the truck bed, like the graboid off the cliff!
The reason they showed that one graboid the blew up while they were on the rock at the end of the movie is because it had eggs in it that survived the explosion. There's several sequels to this that are all worth watching
"Broke into the wrong goddamn rec room, didn't ya you bastard!" Part of the backlash this movie got (and currently gets), is that people judge the movie on the mislabeled "horror" genre. It's a "creature feature" movie, which is a subgenre of action/adventure. Fun Fact: Burt and Heather used the following firearms to kill the Graboid that burst into their rec room: Stey-Mannlicher SSG-PII, Winchester model 70, Winchester Model 1200 Defender, HK91A2, Colt AR-15 Sporter II, Remington 870, Sig Sauer P226, Ruger Redhawk, M8 flare gun, and then finally Burt finishes it off with a Belgian William & Co. 8 gauge shotgun (The Elephant Gun). Bonus Fact: S.S. Wilson said that he got the idea for the film while he was working for the U.S. Navy in the California desert. While resting on a rock, he imagined what it might be like if something underground kept him from getting off the rock.
So I have to tell this story now. My dad has been a service and installation plumber for over 40 years. When I was a kid and into my teens, my dad would take me on his personal side plumbing jobs outside of his Monday through Friday job. On one such occasion, A friend of a friend of my father's who own an apartment complex built into the side of the hills above downtown Los Angeles called my dad as his building was backflowing sewage into the bathtubs, sinks, and toilets of the first and second-floor apartments. So we went out there to find where his central line stoppage was. It was in the "basement" and on the property owner's side of the mainline. Dad gave me the large wrench and told me to loosen the bolts so when he sent in the snake, the pipe wouldn't crack. Welp, I didn't know that you are supposed to loosen bolts in a star pattern, or you increase pressure on the subsequent bolts. I did 2 when I heard this groan and plink sound I'll never forget. I the pip split open at the seam and proceeded to cover my head to toe in at least two floors of human sewage. It went up to my nose and in my mouth. I was puking until my stomach was empty and even then was dry heaving for another ten minutes after. SO yeah, it's fucked to get covered in that manner, lol.
@@EOMReacts I appreciate that friend, I will say though if any good came from that experience it was two fold. 1, I now definitely know how to undue bolts correctly. The one memory I will always have about this movie was going to a friends birthday sleepover in 92 or 93, gorging on Little Caesars, and watching this in his living room with like 10 or 15 other kids. you out here taking a deep breath, just as they explode,LOL
RIP to the fantastic and hilarious Fred Ward. He takes the lead in Tremors 2, and also gets to star in Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins.
Tremors has been a fave of mine since I was a little kid. It's great fun, great cast, with some good scares and amazing puppet work.
I also loved him as Mercury Astronaut Gus Grissom in "The Right Stuff."
Filmed in the California high desert area called the Alabama Hills near the small towns of Lone Pine and Big Pine. I dated a girl in the mid 80's in college from there. Every single guy I met from the area (EVERY ONE) chewed tobacco. That's the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the background
This entire movie series is my guilty pleasure lol, every last one of them.
Don't feel guilty about it, better than the tripe that comes out these days.
So I started up RUclips to get a video on modifying a tool shed and I saw you were watching Tremors. You got my attention, sir.
That’s amazing. LoL
Hope you enjoy!
This is the third reaction video of yours that I've seen. Great job. You're funny, insightful and have a great editor. Keep it up.
I greatly appreciate the comment. And my editor will love reading that as well.
Fred Ward was great in "Uncommon Valor". That's a movie you should check out. Gene Hackman stars in it.
Always love to see you with your co-pilot.

@@EOMReacts awesome lol
So much fun. A bit gross in spots, but that's fun too. I never met anyone who didn't like this movie.
Somebody in the comments already said it's one of the worst of the decade, and I've never disagreed with a comment more on the channel. LoL
Your seismograph is graphing girl. Lol. Love it

Glad you liked it, but I also have to say that I love the Mist. Easily one of the best Stephen King adaptations ever.
I don’t know if you knew this or not but I done a reaction to The Mist already. Lol you should definitely check it out if you haven’t. The ending got me good
Rip Fred ward the good lord got one hell of a monster killer
Lol. Your channel is so cool, you crack me up every reaction you do. 😂
I love this movie. Glad to see you are reacting to movies every week!
The plan right now is MWF on RUclips, and once JL gets settled into some series' we're going to hopefully have daily uploads over on our Patreon
Another fantastic video that I could only watch piecemeal because I hurt myself from laughing so hard! I agree with another commenter: JL is a national treasure! It doesn't matter if I've seen the film you're watching one hundred times already, it's your reactions that bring me back every time. It doesn't matter how bad a day I've had, because I'll watch one of these videos and everything's all right again. Consistently hilarious and entertaining!
Now some more recommendations: a Steve Martin trifecta - The Jerk, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, and All of Me. Also, Peter Jackson's brilliant Dead Alive.
The Jerk and Dead Alive are 100% on the list.
@@EOMReacts Great! I can't wait to see those videos!

Tremors was released 34 years ago today,January 19th 1990. Tremors was the first movie of the 1990’s I saw in the theater.
One of my all-time favorites. Lost count of how many times I have seen it.
It’s definitely a fun ride
This was a top repeat favorite at movie parties I used to give out on my back deck, it never disappointed.
Loving your channel, Great movie choices. Love your sense of humor
Much appreciated, homie.
Greatly appreciate it. Glad you’re enjoying the videos
It's a B Sci-Fi Horror monster movie done right into a great, fun movie. Almost everything plotwise (poles, CAT, etc) is shown before it becomes critical.
Great reaction man. Loving your channel a lot so far. Tremors is a fun ride!
We appreciate the support and love.
If "The Floor is Lava" was a movie.
