Once I had had a regular shire, and I hated it. I decided to fully train it and then sell it. But, after three days of robbing and riding on the same horse, I became ATTACHED
I just noticed this video is a couple years old. For anyone watching in 2020, the Saint Denis restart trick does not work. Rockstar must have patched this up. I restarted 47 times and the freaking Tennessee Walker and the Morgan are the only ones that ever spawn there. After 47 restarts no horses ever spawn there again. I waited a few days in game and nothing.
man thanks so much. didnt find out about this til i was already quite a bit into chapter 3 the first time around. tried a couple times and said "fuck it", cant be that much longer til chapter 4. just started my second play through and tried mad times already and wanted to check if i was doing anything wrong. good to know that it just dsnt work anymore so i wont have to waste any time. but just wanna say that this is some real bullshit, not like this particular thing breaks the game or makes things significantly easier.....
I got my black Arabian out of pure dumb luck.... Early in the game (Chapter 3 maybe) I was walking around in St Denis and saw a man picking a fight with a woman in a park. I knocked him out and since my horse was far away I stole his horse and rode away. I thought to my self, "damn, this is a fast horse...." When I jumped of it and inspected it I realised it was a black Arabian. :)
I bought one for like 750 bucks in saint denis they usually go for slightly over 1000 idk why I got a crazy discount lol (I bought him like the secound to last mission as Arthur so it was rly not worth it)
I had a big brute horse called a Ardennes. It was a huge war horse and lasted me the entire game. Fuck man Cisco got me out of so many pinches and when she died I was pissed. The “thank you” from Arthur was so touching, that horse had been through so much with me and it damn near brought me to tears, spent hours and hours and hours with that horse.
right, the thoroughbred i got in ult edition was faster than the white arabian.. so i was like.. wth wasnt the arabian better? This makes it clear..... with right saddle and stirrups.. my ult edition horse had 9 speed and 8 acceleration (gold bonus)
I recently fell in love with the Raven Black Shire. Now even Thoroughbreds are ponies to me. I would experience physical pain if I got an Arabian again.
@@isabelg4269 if you dont like thoroughbreds then i would suggest Dutch Warmblood, they are as tall as Shires and do very well in gun fights and stand their ground against predators.
@@atuttamrakar8520 dutch warmbloods are also easy to find if you have some bounty hunters after you. I've gotten both my mustang and the warmblood from bounty hunters. I think some of them even ride turkomans and arabians but I can also remember wrong.
@@atuttamrakar8520 Oh yeah I love Buell! Such a good horse. I just can't seem to get that mission activated on my second playthroug. It seems to be only available after chapter 6 and I'm still on chapter 2 because this time I'm taking my time with the game more. So if you want early one a little better horse for free that isn't arabian, bounty hunters are my go to route that I'd recommend.
As a horse lover and enthusiast, I have to say that RDR2 did an AMAZING job with their horses. They really put a lot of physical details in each breed of horse, and the horses in this game look exactly like their breeds in real life. Even the coat colors are very beautiful and extremely accurate as well. All breeds of horse are beautiful to me, but I was absolutely elated to see Appaloosas, Mustangs, and American Paint Horses. I wish they would have added the American Quarter Horse breed to this game, but otherwise, the horses are extremely detailed and beautiful. Even their gaits are very smooth and flowy, and not robot-like, like some horses in games are.
Buell is also a really great horse. Definitely recommend saving the last hamish mission for John so you can keep him. Buell is brave you can literally trample alligators with him and he won’t buck you off
Moisty Man in all fairness Arabians have one huge flaw, well atleast the white Arabian has this flaw. Low health and being an absolute pussy. Damn thing bucks me if it sees a snake.
To PC players watching this, a patch a while ago made the trapper saddles also give +2 to speed and acceleration in the same way that stirrups do. And they also give -50% drain rate. So crafted saddles are now better in every single way.
In my experience, I’ve had two Arabians, from level 1 to 4 bonding, and they have never bucked me off or run away. They’ve always been amazing for me. I tried taming a wild white Arabian, and that was how I found how really anxious they are.
@@figocottril yep my level 3 white Arabian has bucked me when a big old thic croc is around hahaha. If you just hold the sticks to the bottom left while taming a wild horse you'll almost never get bucked off. It took me less than 10 minutes once I found the wild white Arabian to tame it once I found out online the easy way to do it.
I SWEAR!! I had like 5 experiences at least so far where my white arabian just gets scared of a cougar, alligator or bear and just bucked me off when i’m trying to calm her down. Super annoying when getting bucked off gets you killed
Well so far is the most expensive not the best I like better the silver dapple pinto[ Missouri fox ] it's a full speed horse so I like it better. Obviously every one has a different opinion...
I loved the English Thoroughbred I stole from the lady from the horse race in chapter 3. Very brave and calm and faster than the black Arabian. Only one point slower in acceleration and a level under elite in maneuverability. But the courage is great and it bonded quickly
I've had all 3 horses, and all 3 seemed as skittish as the next whenever something like a wolf or cougar jumps out at you. I got bucked off by all of them. They're all good horses in terms of speed. The only real problem I had with the arabian was that it is noticeably shorter than the others. You feel like you're riding a damn pony and not a horse.
For everyone out there If you find a good horse for sale in a stable, any horse, just drive there by a wagon and wear a bandana just so ur bounty doesn’t get higher then while you are in the wagon enter a stable and shoot anywhere until you are wanted and it says investigating, then just leave and the wagon and go up to the horse you want in the stable and achieve bonding one (keep brushing and feeding it until there is a horse symbol of it in the minimap) then simply leave and whistle for it. Then after you are no more being searched for just go back into the stable and saddle up the horse. Now you own it for free
Me personally I use the turkoman or the Hungarian half breds to I've found any horse is fast with a good saddle and also most ppl care about speed I need a horse with all around
but then do you really care about it if you can replace it with another one? kind of contradictory behavior there bud. if you like a horse enough you dont care about finding other ones.
@@sandytheproblematicsand6480 what i said was not an "opinion" just stating it is weird to complain about rockstar only allowing four spaces in the stable. That is a statement. I never said he was wrong for thinking that way and that he should think like me so you can miss me with that non sense. Also you are being hypocritical yourself. WHy don't you keep your Opinion that i should not be making comments to other people to yourself? You're hilarious.
The Turkoman horses are pretty damn good. Personally the Turkoman is my horse of choice whenever I go hunting for dangerous prey. The Rose Grey Bay Arabian is just better overall in my opinion because of that sweet acceleration. Also the White Arabian is just plain glorious looking.
Thats right, the Turkoman horses are the best. I also own a black and a white Arabian. These are good for getaways after a crime or races. But the Turkoman horses arr much more brave and strong. Even a near by bear or cougar do not freak them out.
@@VivianaSilverback Are you shure ? I mean in the Game. Because the Arabian in the game is much more shy than the Turkoman. Infact the Arabian already get nervous when the rattlesnake is near but not shown on the mini-map. The Arabian also freak out after a getaway with shooting, so it is necessary to calm them. There is no scale for "bravery". But the "warhorse" behave definately different in the game than the Arabians.
The Turkoman is my personal favorite because not only does it have decent speed and acceleration but it also has a lot of bravery and health,so if you ever run into an alligator or a pack of wolves he will take time to buck you off.
i think the turkoman has the most practical stat distribution: highest health, 5/7 stamina is still plenty to get all over without ever having a stamina issue, it has the 2nd highest speed stat same as the arabians, and second highest acceleration stat same as the missouri fox trotter and thoroughbred so it's definitely a fast horse and with the highest health. the difference between 6 and 7 speed is hardly anything. oh and on the current version of the game the crafted saddles have the +2 to speed and acceleration automatically so you don't need stirrups. even the worst crafted saddle is superior in almost every way to the best purchased saddle with the best stirrups.
Funny story. I've played rdr2 for so long. Because of this you get familiar with horses in the game and how realistic most of it is. When I started riding horses for the first time my instructor said that I seemed like a natural and asked if it really was my first time because It seemed as if I rode horses before but in fact it was all the time I spent brushing bonding feeding etc my horse in rdr2.😅
I kept the black one from the beginning. I chose to stable it. Ibwas kinda glad i had it in the stable when Arthur's horse gets killed in the storyline. Although it hurt me to my core that it was the black chestnut horse. The one that looks black but shines a brownish red when the sun hits em.
"The best horse in the game." Well, that sort of depends on your definition of "best"and what is most important to you. Most of us want a horse that is fast enough to get out of its own way and quickly get out out of a bad situation as fast as possible. Fortunately, that eliminates a lot of horses. Getting out and gone fast is one thing, but if you actually have to go anywhere, it would be nice to know your horse can make the trip without having to stop every 2 minutes to give your horse a nebulizer and a shot of Adrenalin. This pretty much takes the thoroughbred and a few other horses off your list. What else matters? How about the fact that a good horse is a horse that doesn't get killed to easily! It is sort of hard to ride off on a dead Arabian! Hey, I got a really fast horse, who can get out of there quickly and doesn't die because it ran into a tree. However, I have this little problem of having to run away from an area on foot - due to heavy gunfire - huffing my ass along, dodging bullets, while whistling like a demented canary. So... your horse either bucks you off and/or takes off on your because it heard a mouse fart? You say you do not like that? Well, scratch the Arabian and a couple other breeds off your list. Speaking of running into trees, it's not just the Arabian who has a tendency of doing this more often than others. But some breeds do a great job of avoiding those tress. This leaves only 3 horses... The Turkoman, the Missouri Fox Trotter and the Mustang. Then you must consider... If I leave my horse somewhere, it would be nice to know he will be there when I get back - and not wander off because he got bored! Well, scratch the Turkoman off your list. In game, this breed is notorious for it's lack of patience. You want to stop in at the saloon for a couple drinks or to play some poker? You better tie his ass up or he won't be there when you leave, if you've been in there a while. You want to go fishing or hunting and it's taking you a while... it sort of sucks to have to whistle for your horse every time you need to toss something on it's backside. We are now down to the Tiger-striped Mustang and the Fox Trotter. Both of them are mixed task type breeds. Although the Fox Trotter is faster, the Mustang is what is known as, "Bomb Proof." One of the best tests to determine if your horse is bomb proof or not is done in two stages. Stage one, get off your horse and throw a stick of dynamite a little ways away. If the horse is still there, it's time for stage two. If he's gone, no need to try stage two, because you already know he'd be useless in a gunfight. In stage two, take a little trip thru the swaps until you come across an alligator or two. If you get bucked off... this is a problem. If your horse either attacks the alligator or could care less about the alligator this is what you really want... having past both tests you have a bomb-proof horse. Bonding with your horse should be a relatively easy and effortless experience. Some breeds make you work much harder to achieve level 4 bonding. There are only 1 horse in the game that meet all these criteria: The Tiger-striped Mustang. There are faster and quicker horses. There are healthier horses. There are horses with a bit more endurance. But there is not a single horse in the game you can depend on to do anything and everything you need it to do and always be there when you need her - and still have respectable enough stats in every other category to be effective in every aspect of the game. Plus, she's not too big and not too small. You won't dwarf everyone you walk by and you won't look like you're riding your daughter's pony. Or ... If you don't mind the occasional spooking (which doesn't happen often - as the horse doesn't spook TOO easily) the Fox Trotter is the way to go. If you don't mind the occasional, "Where the F*** did my horse go? I know I left him right here 10 minutes ago," then definitely go for the Turkoman.
I had a race horse that I like and I was doing the first Reverend Swanson's quest where he got stuck on the rail tracks. A train was coming and i helped Swanson to get unstuck and pushed him away but guess what? My horse was on the tracks and got rammed by the train...he flew right off the bridge, infront of my very eyes :')
Yeah, ok...but my Blood bay thoroughbred is just...glorious. most gorgeous robe in the game, I just watch her walking under the rain and stare... Not the fastest, but fast. Not the sturdyiest, but sturdy. And sooooooo beautiful!
For all those in 2024, it has been patched somewhat. It will spawn random horses, but only Morgans and Kentucky Saddlers (30+ attempts only found these two). You unlock way more horses in the start of chapter 4 available to purchase at the stables. If you’re tight on cash, in chapter 3 you rob a bank in Valentine which gives you a lot of cash, or you can do treasure hunts. You can get the start of the Poisonous trail map in a lock box where you encounter Flaco Hernandez in the Cabin. Landmarks of Riches is also a really good one for the amount of gold bars you get and that you can access it whenever you want
FYI for anyone unaware, they patched the horse spawn in that area north of Saint Denis. It was messed up so you could get even Epilogue exclusive horses there early in the game. They fixed it so only low tier horses spawn there, I believe. Also, I’ve tried various horse breeds in the game, and I haven’t noticed any difference in bravery. The system for agitation on horses is kind of complex. Basically I know that once they reach a certain level of agitation, they buck you. Predators increase it and long rides increase it. Being close to death probably raises it. I haven’t noticed any horses more prone to bucking Arthur than others while fully bonded. I could definitely be wrong, but if bravery exists it’s really really subtle.
I’ve definitely noticed a difference in bravery. I had an arabian for a while and a wolf could make it buck or run. While my turkoman was surrounded by a pack of wolves and didnt even react
I found the black and white fox trotter, black Arabian and a black and grey turkoman .. I’m addicted to doing this now lmao it’s like playing the lotto
I found the gold turkoman and I was super excited. Now after riding it for awhile I wish I had the other colors because the gold looks like actual shit sometimes lol.
Ethan Platas it does bro! Lmaoo. I like the grey one a lot. There’s a red/black colored one that spawns there that looks badass but it’s a gang horse and you can’t stable it
william burr sad part is that I had the black and grey one and I sold it when I got the gold one because i thought I liked it more. Boy was i wrong. Anyways I just got the Black and white fox trotter about an hour ago and I’m in absolute love with it. Such a beautiful horse.
I honestly dislike Arabians after I was bucked off on top of an alligator. I straight up run over alligators with the turkoman. I will always have a soft side for the rose grey though.
Doubt. I've never seen a cougar kill a horse. Unless it was an indirect kill, let's say the cougar came at you, horse bucked you off and proceeded to run off a cliff or in front of a train by chance.
I found a leopard appaloosa during a mission and so far its the best handling horse I've ridden yet. I don't care about getting and arabian, everyone has one. I like bonding with unique horses organically in the game.
This entire video was informative! Thank you for not making 1 point and wasting 9 minutes of my life reiterating that point which was covered in the initial 60 seconds. A+ content bro!!!
No need to save, quit. Ride to the railroad tracks for 20 seconds ( i replenished my flight feathers) . Ride to the back fence. Stay mounted and peer over the fence( if you have to, aim a weapon at them to focus on them) If it's not the horse you want, rinse repeat. Also, sometimes a gang horse will spawn. If, when you mount the new horse, push left thumbstick to calm horse, if a bond signal doesn't show, or if after riding for a few minutes, he doesn't bond with you, it's a gang horse and no stable will accept him. Release him and try again.
I took 2 real life hours to find a white Arabian horse in the mountains and I have to tell you it's a beautiful horse. Totally worth the effort it took to find it. It's a beauty, It's sooooo fast, it has a ton of Stamina, great handling and when you reach bonding level 3, it sticks by you and doesn't buck you off even when it's scared. I took her to the stable to customize her ,named her Jade and never looked back. I just can't praise her enough.
Got a Shire and a Turkoman. I kept the first Black Shire that you get from the story mission, and then I got a Turkoman as my main do-it-all horse. It's hard to use the Shire all the time with how good the Turk's stats are, but I just love towering over every other horse.
I know this is an old post, but I just came across it. It's the first in depth review of horses I've seen that actually takes into account hidden stats and saddle options. I agree with most everything here, I would only add that the Rose Grey Bay Arabian seems to have the highest stamina and health and when you add the Panther crafted saddle those stats almost never drain completely. Having a horse with high stamina that basically never drains means that you can ride at full speed for a longer time which ultimately means you can go farther faster than a horse with lesser stamina that's faster. There is, of course, a lot nuance in all of this. I personally like the Rose Grey Arabian the best but I also love that white Arabian, just because I think it looks beautiful.
@@wallpaper4237 its more realistic this game. RDR1 they were fast as hell I agree but not too accurate. Im pretty happy with leveled up race horse breeds speed especially in 1st person view riding cross country
@@wallpaper4237 I agree. They also nerfed literally the best breeds from RDR 1 in RDR 2. Kentucky Saddler sucks, Hungarian Halfbred sucks, and the American Standardbred sucks. I've heard good things about the Hungarian, but the American got jipped so hard.
Just so everyone knows, this glitch was patched. North of saint Dennis horse spawn doesnt work anymore. Beyond that. Arabians do suck. EDIT: After chapter 4, you can buy Missouri Fox Trotters at the Scarlett Meadows stable. Arguably the best horse in the game, earliest you can get it.
lmao this comment is so trash, the arabians you can get as arthur are exactly the same as MFT, if not faster because accel is higher. however, the best horse in the entire game hands down is the arabian you can only buy as john after beating the second epilogue. there is literally no better horse in the entirety of red dead 2 which is better than that horse.
@@witbyy yours is just as trash🤷🏾♂️ enjoy your experience, but MFT doesn't throw me when I get ambushed by O'Driscolls in chapt 2. Arabians have 3-4 times. And it looks like Arthur is on a shetland riding them lol
As far as looks go im loving my rare tiger striped mustang i caught in the wild , very cool looking horse and im sure its in top 5 stats wise. Theres just somthing awesome about roping and breaking your horse that makes the horse feel unique and special.
You can get a Hungarian half breed in the beginning of the game when you do your first bounty. The guy's horse is a Hungarian half breed. Once you're done with the mission do hunting mission with Josiah. Make sure you hitch the horse.
Temperment is garbage. Fuck that horse. I spent 3 days tryna get it from the snowy place and i finally got it in first try and was riding back to valentine and it got scsred of wolvez and ran off and now its gone
Btw my point wasn't that the Arabian is the best or something, I was just expecting to see a lot of horses based on the fake hype in the beginning of the video but in reality it turns out the stupid Arabian was actually damn NEAR the best.
I like that you pointed out the training and demeanor of the horse breeds. This is something I caught onto playing several hours and this info will help me pick the perfect horse.
anyone wondering, the Saint Denis method no longer works. But you can still get a MFT in chapter 2 & a Turkoman in chapter 4, search on RUclips for guide, you'll find a good one. for anyone wondering, I used the tracking method for getting a MFT (not the stagecoach method) & it still works in latest steam PC version (29-07-22). The whole process takes patience & feels satisfying cause it's a well earned horse.
Personally I feel like the horse's in this game all handle differently and its more a personal preference. I for one like riding war horses. The Hungarian halfbred and Ardennes have been my favorites. I also like the speed of my thoroughbred. When you have the best saddle and your horse is maxed with your bonding they all feel capable.
Before the first update I was able to get a White Arabian and a Turkoman. After the update all that spawn are Kentucky Saddlers, Tennessee Walkers and Morgans. No more rare horses. Bummer.
You don’t have to reload the game. Just run north to the wooden bridge platform and run back. The horses will change, also a way to get some bonding with a new horse if you get one.
The tiger striped Bay Mustang yes I use to have one of those little hard to train. Great health and stamina I like this one especially on this horse come to think of it. I used the trick to get it wounded with the 22 caliber varmint R. And then I used the special horse Reviver well [no this one there's 2 kinds] I used the other one this one gives you the yellow stuff] the other heals only the half of it so the horse core still wounded not with enough power to trow you down...
I think the reset on the horses might have been patched... made a save file to get the horse I want, at first all it would come up with was Kentucky satelers, and then no horses at all
Pro tip, when doing the horse spawning glitch just ride your horse out of the border of the town and ride back. They reload every time for me! I've found most of the horses you can't get until near to the end of the story at just the second chapter.
This no longer works. The spawn is populated with crap horses only, and the save point trick only yields no horses at all. There will be different horses there if you just re-start the game from auto save, but there will never be anything other than saddlers, morgans, walkers, and such.
Hello, I played rdr2 for 2500 hours.. and.. There are no good and bad horses.. The horse's ability doesn't really matter. Of course, there may be some difference in stamina or energy, but this is a part that can be solved to some extent if the horse and intimacy are at level 4, and as a result of racing with my friends, the speed is also didn't make much difference, So I think the most important thing in a horse is intimacy, If the intimacy is high, if you praise the horse while horse running, the energy will increase and the meaning of the energy will disappear. However, whether a horse runs away from a predator or a gunshot is slightly different depending on whether it is a race horse, a combat horse, or a labor horse. (However, the difference becomes insignificant when intimacy reaches level 4) I never care about the horse's ability. Whether fast or slow, with little or no stamina or good stamina, I think the most important thing for a horse is its appearance, And I think it's wrong to judge this is best horse or this is bad horse, The most important thing for a horse is intimacy. I recommend riding a horse that looks pretty for you :)
I always begin my play throughs by picking up the Panther saddle as early as I can. But I’ve found that each individual play through I enjoy a new horse, regardless of rarity, breed, stats, or anything other than personal preference. RDR2 is really the greatest video game of all time. 😂
One of the best horses ive ever got was pulling a murphree brood cart. He had scars and looked sick but he never got scared of anything and it wasnt slow and had good stamina.
I still have the Shire horse from the beginning and I can't find it to replace him lol. Not super fast but alot of stamina and doesn't scare easy. Are there ways to find Warhorses? Can't find them in the wild
Saddles and stirrups you buy from the stables are not as good as the crafted saddles from the trapper. Yes, the crafted saddles can’t have stirrups, but they already give you the maximum stats boost you can get from any equipment. To completely fill out the stats you have to do 2 random chance encounters where a stranger challenges you to a race. One of them happens near saint denis where you race to caliga hall. I’ve also had them appear in the grizzlies region, so the encounters don’t seem to be too reliant in location, you might be able to encounter them anywhere. After you complete 2 of those encounters, that third bar for speed gets filled
The horse location has been patched and it doesn't work anymore. You can still get horses there pretty easily, but they are just common horses. Last played this game in 2019 and got two Arabians, a Turkomon and a Foxtrotter in the stable from then. Started playing again a few days ago and tried the three house trick just junk horses.
As has been pointed out, the exploit has been patched, but my favorite horse for exploring, travel, and especially hunting, is the Ardennes war horse. This horse has never thrown me, even with a grizzly charging me. I've shot panthers and cougars while sitting on this horse. Night Folk don't spook it and it's great for body slamming enemies.
There’s another Arabian horse that everyone forgets about it’s behind the Wapiti Reserve it’s called the Warped Brindle it has like a dark brown coat with silver stripes going down the sides easily one of the best looking horses on the game if not THEE best looking horse
My grulo dun mustang named Moonshine has been the perfect horse. She's quick enough to win races, brave enough to go hunting and take into gunfights, and she gets complimented by NPCs.
Not even 30 secs into the video and I had to pause and give a 👍. That intro said it all. “This isn’t the best horse in the game, not even close”! Facts💯

I just noticed this video is a couple years old. For anyone watching in 2020, the Saint Denis restart trick does not work. Rockstar must have patched this up.

They even gave them balls
A quick question are all the horses in the game in real life?

If you find a good horse for sale in a stable, any horse, just drive there by a wagon and wear a bandana just so ur bounty doesn’t get higher then while you are in the wagon enter a stable and shoot anywhere until you are wanted and it says investigating, then just leave and the wagon and go up to the horse you want in the stable and achieve bonding one (keep brushing and feeding it until there is a horse symbol of it in the minimap) then simply leave and whistle for it.
@Floron, I thought the fox trotter has the fastest horse in the game, but had poor acceleration.
@@lancemurdoc6744 Exept that horse bravery doesn't exist. So really, you can use whatever horse you like
@@VivianaSilverback Are you shure ? I mean in the Game. Because the Arabian in the game is much more shy than the Turkoman. Infact the Arabian already get nervous when the rattlesnake is near but not shown on the mini-map. The Arabian also freak out after a getaway with shooting, so it is necessary to calm them. There is no scale for "bravery". But the "warhorse" behave definately different in the game than the Arabians.
@floron7777"brave" my mft bucked me off because of s cougar
The Turkoman is my personal favorite because not only does it have decent speed and acceleration but it also has a lot of bravery and health,so if you ever run into an alligator or a pack of wolves he will take time to buck you off.
Normal people: discussing horses
Me: shows up on “zebra”
i think the turkoman has the most practical stat distribution: highest health, 5/7 stamina is still plenty to get all over without ever having a stamina issue, it has the 2nd highest speed stat same as the arabians, and second highest acceleration stat same as the missouri fox trotter and thoroughbred so it's definitely a fast horse and with the highest health. the difference between 6 and 7 speed is hardly anything.
oh and on the current version of the game the crafted saddles have the +2 to speed and acceleration automatically so you don't need stirrups. even the worst crafted saddle is superior in almost every way to the best purchased saddle with the best stirrups.

American Toast fr
What about the people who dont care which is the best, and just want a nice horse?
Well... it statistically was at first
Donkey is the best mount 😂
The adder was the best when online was new
"The best horse in the game." Well, that sort of depends on your definition of "best"and what is most important to you.

Landmarks of Riches is also a really good one for the amount of gold bars you get and that you can access it whenever you want
yeah mustve been patched because I kept getting only kentucky saddlers

Tried the Method for about an hour now.. thanks for helping bro hahaha
I just got the rose bay and Turk at Saint Denis November 22. Just dumb luck.
Bummer.
Yes it's all poop horses now.
Yup, it's true
I’ve loaded 20 times, every time it’s either a Morgan, Tennessee Walker or Kentucky Saddler😂
Same wtf, 50 times already
It got patched, I tried it too
No horses ever spawn on mine
You don’t have to reload the game. Just run north to the wooden bridge platform and run back. The horses will change, also a way to get some bonding with a new horse if you get one.
Worked for me. I ran to the red barn and back.
Not working on PS4 tried running with horse (old) and by foot. Starting story mode did respawn the horses.
I have the top of the line Mustang. Everywhere I go NPCs no longer greet me and rave about my horse instead!
Does it have a Hemi?
@@carlbilodeau9163 Settle down there, Boss.
Does it lose control and run over npc's?
Caitie Edmondson Can you get the Beull with this method?
Bet thanks even tho it’s 4 years later
@@cadenhess6683i think this is patched now , only low level horses appear
Saint Denis Horse glitch is now patched (2024)
No it’s not
@@The_GymJones Yes it is
@@ChonkersCentralI’m literally doing it rn
@@ZankokunaKami It cannot spawn anything other than Tennessee Walkers and Morgan's.
It's not. I literally got a Gold turkoman from St Denis yesterday. It still works in all the stables.
I only changed my horse once at the start of the game when you go hunting with Hosea and i used her till the end.
Of course, there may be some difference in stamina or energy, but this is a part that can be solved to some extent if the horse and intimacy are at level 4, and as a result of racing with my friends, the speed is also didn't make much difference,
So I think the most important thing in a horse is intimacy,
If the intimacy is high, if you praise the horse while horse running, the energy will increase and the meaning of the energy will disappear.
However, whether a horse runs away from a predator or a gunshot is slightly different depending on whether it is a race horse, a combat horse, or a labor horse.
(However, the difference becomes insignificant when intimacy reaches level 4)
I never care about the horse's ability.
Whether fast or slow, with little or no stamina or good stamina,
I think the most important thing for a horse is its appearance,
And I think it's wrong to judge this is best horse or this is bad horse, The most important thing for a horse is intimacy.
I've tested it extensively in the swamps and, including all the War Horses, the Mustangs appear to me to be the bravest.
tiger striped mustang especially are the best, ‘cause the stats are even better than standard mustang
I dont think this still works ive restarted my save 10 times and all i get is the Kentucky saddler or Tennessee walker
Same here
One of the best horses ive ever got was pulling a murphree brood cart.
RC 5052 I’ve definitely seen other Ardennes. I know that they are sold at various stables.
There's an Ardennes in the stable near emerald ranch.
@@pabloarambula4627 I'll have to check that out. I eventually lost my Shire horse with black coat. Can't find another one lol
Same
I love that massive beast
2025 im not sure might be patched because I've reloaded like 6 times and its all morganatic tenancy walkers and Kentucky too
Does the reload trick still work? I seem to only be getting Kentucky Saddlers and Morgans
So glad that this vid gives more options, the Arabian horse is cool, but it’s so so small, and Arthur looks goofy on it 😂
Haven't seen anyone bring up varying stats of wild horses. I found a fox trotter with different stats than stabled versions.
So this video is now misleading and wasted my time??
Buel is my favorite fella. Always have to get Buel.
This glitch has been when you load the game back up there will be no horses at all
There’s another Arabian horse that everyone forgets about it’s behind the Wapiti Reserve it’s called the Warped Brindle it has like a dark brown coat with silver stripes going down the sides easily one of the best looking horses on the game if not THEE best looking horse
This guy takes rdr2 horses real seriously
I love my Amber Champagne Foxtrotter. He's a good boah
I bought the gold Turkoman from the stable in Saint Denis. It's my favorite horse. Getting a Turk again in my second playthrough.
I had the same one she feel off a bridge while robbing a train RIP betty white
TheSlickoif
My grulo dun mustang named Moonshine has been the perfect horse. She's quick enough to win races, brave enough to go hunting and take into gunfights, and she gets complimented by NPCs.
So when i was in Annesburg, some lawmen killed my horse, anyone know a perfect brutal way to destroy the whole town?
Arabians are great... as long as you love being bucked off whenever a threat is within half a mile.
Not even 30 secs into the video and I had to pause and give a 👍. That intro said it all. “This isn’t the best horse in the game, not even close”! Facts💯
my mustang I caught is mean asf it like kicks and stuff rather than bucking or getting scared
Just imagining the first time it kick lmfao😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
🤣🤣 You made my day thanks
