A Johnny Mathis Christmas- Las Vegas, NV at Smith Center for the Performing Arts 🎭...

• We were in the nosebleed section, but with an obstructed view, third row of the balcony, but unfortunately Johnny Mathis doesn't look up very much, and they didn't have any video screens. Suzanne was in the front row swooning.
• It was fun to park once, then walk to dinner and then walk from dinner to the show, and then take the pedestrian bridge back to the parking lot, over the railroad tracks.
• Quite an impressive show, and sorry we missed our former neighbors from Palm Springs, Mickey and Suzanne Lang...)
EARLIER:
• Dinner at Oscar's Steakhouse...Let the evening BE GIN! Steak with Oscar's crab meat topper, short ribs and crabcake, brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and of course martinis stuffed with blue cheese olives. And the best Manhattan of the weekend.
• Strolled to New York - New York Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, via Park MGM (Las Vegas) and T-Mobile Arena.
• Lunch at Nusr-Et Steakhouse Las Vegas.
• Mad Apple Las Vegas 🍏...We had some nice front row seats, always risky at a Cirque Du Soleil show.
Audible gasps were heard when comedian Chloe learned that Bryan and Jo-Anne have been married almost 40 years.
• Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street Experience...
TONIGHT:
• Dinner at Oscars steakhouse followed by Johnny Mathis before returning to Twista-Vista in Veer Towers Las Vegas.
• Then, we will have a birdseye view of Formula 1 Las Vegas 2023.
• Also, we have a WebCam showing turns 14, 15 and 16, plus ESPN F1 VEGAS broadcast...lots of passing action on those turns.

This was a fantastic evening. He is 88 and still amazing as the singer we dated to decades ago. He handled the loss of lyric with such class..."I forgot the words..."🥰PURE JOY!!

Johnny Mathis has been my very favorite for years. Saw him many years ago in person. No one will ever have a voice like him. As a teenager my father use to say “isn’t he tired yet “ because I played his recordings all day.😅
