He sounds so good because he does not rest on his laurels. He practices and constantly strives to improve. Every time he performs, if he sings 20 songs, all of which he's sang 5,000 times each, at least 2 or 3 of the songs, sometimes as many as 10, will be the BEST performance he has ever given. Amazing. He's 87. Even more amazing.
