They’re promoting everything as a “mature” Jungkook, I guess a lot of people reacted in a negative way because he’s the only one doing all of this among the members and, although I’m confused of it all, I can sort of understand how he must feel growing up for the world to see and he probably feels like he has to prove wrong everyone that “baby” him. At the same time I think it’s unnecessary and a bit childish in my very personal opinion lmao I think they could’ve gone in a more “elegant” way about it. And 100% agree that it’s better than Seven, it’s more enjoyable to listen to in terms of beat and overall vibe.

The song is a bop, but the rap part added nothing to the song in my opinion. I love that as a reactor you gave an honest opionion/reaction without glorifying JK or the song because of who he is. You address the musicality and structure of the music. This song is also very close to Justin Timberlake during his solo period.

He explained why he did not like the rap (nothing to do with the content, it was delivery and how the rap ended the song) If he said he liked the rap I would still have the same opinion about him. I mean, this song is a great one, just like Seven, but then the rapper comes in and it suddenly becomes braggy and kinda slutty. Which is a shame, because I would enjoy these more without those parts. The alternate version of this is much more to my liking. BTS is known for the meaningful lyrics (and JK's part still has it, even though it's different from the usual), then an outsider just talks about cheating, and sleeping around. It's a bit disappointing. But I still love this song and listen to it a lot.

Great song, vocally, but Harlow's verses are boring. He comes across as the cool guy’s nerdy friend, repeating a bunch of tacky pick-up lines to impress the ladies, total fail. Male rappers must learn to care about the actual song and make verses to suit it. Latto’s verse was able to work for 2 versions of Seven. In both of his solo songs (clean versions) JK is a true player, making it clear what he wants, but in a way that makes you want him. Instead of bars to impress the guys, Harlow, needed to impress the females. Slyly suggestive lyrics may be more work, but the results could have been fantastic if Jack had focused on 3D. Again, JK vocals are amazing, Harlow’s verses are lazy.
