Some people don't understand why JK and Jack played chess in the music video. JK is a man in a long-distance relationship who loves one partner, and Jack is a man who is loose for women. This song is about two men who have completely opposite views on love. Jack's part, if people catch his meaning carefully, they will know he is singing about himself, not disrespects women.

I liked Jack Harlows part. People want to find something bad and they look for anything. They see the word "Whoring" and assume he's talking about women, when he's actually talking about himself. And also, some ARMYS don't get that JK is a grown ass MAN and doesn't need to ask ARMY for permission to do music how he wants. People need to let him have fun.
Everyone knows he was talking about himself. That wasn't the issue. The issue was the AGB tag and "flying women out from Korea". A lot of rappers have done this when they collab with BTS, but it was definitely cringe and a bit fetishist to simply bring up hooking up with Korean women because you're on a song with a Korean man.

He's a WELL KNOWN flirt and ladies man lol irl. I thought Jack's verses were fire, much better than other sub par rap collaborations with KPop groups and idols.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with JH verses .. a little mid in some parts but as for the lyrics, there’s nothing wrong with them. Other rappers have said worse. The people who have a problem with the lyrics are stuck in a sick fantasy in which Jungkook is thought to be anything but an ADULT. Other than that, the song is good and definitely grows on you after every listen!

I didn't like the flow and cadence . Personally, a fast-paced rap verse would have suited the song more rather than what Jack Harlow went with. he was going off AABA scheme it felt like the beat and rap didn't match . Also people felt that lyrics were kinda corny , its okay not the best. You know what our standards are set so high due to rapline they just know how to fit a rap seamlessly and smartly within a song. They know how to ride a beat . You can't compare it with other artists.

And a lot of people from his age as well as JK's age are social media natives, and at these time, many people meet and fell in love online, and sex is a big part of our lives and there is nothing wrong to talk or even having sex, body to body, or online as long as its consentual which is all what the song is about... JK said "if you'll let me", and Jake said "you ain’t gotta guarantee me nothing I just wanna see if I get lucky"... Its just about desire and mutual consent.
And side note, old people are also allowed to have desire, sex and fantasies... Life doesn't stop when you get old.. How discriminating it is.

I literally have Jack Harlow’s verse on repeat. As a Jungkook and Jack fan, this entire song couldn’t be any more perfect. some people are saying this song is misogynistic .. as a female myself, there’s nothing wrong with the song, and Jack’s part .. it’s typical western artist lyrics, I think people are being too serious about it. and at the end of the day, whether you like Jack’s parts or not, there’s NO reason to be hating on Jungkook. it’s so upsetting.

He may have been a little out of pocket for that, but honestly it's NEARLY as bad as things I've heard other rappers say and nobody breathes a word about that. Even Notorious BIG rapped about SAing underage girls in some of his songs, and people put him on a pedestal.
Idk what the others are on but i really like Jack's verse. Besides, they wouldn't do an alternate version for nothing, there's always an option and seeing the behind the scenes of him and JK, you can clearly see they both enjoyed doing this. Glad JK chose to work with him.

Of all the Jack Harlow's songs that I have listened to, that wasn't his best verse, but it was good enough. As you said, it was smooth and that's all that matters. And I agree that JK sounds a lot like JT on this track💯. JK is returning with a very 2000s aesthetic (one of my favorite eras) and I'm here for it!😩

I agree with you guys completely. I low key was baffled at first why there was such uproar about Jack’s verses. Then I figured the word plays may have got lost in translation for those who are not used to it and can easily be misinterpreted.

This song is a complete hit! Jungkook is exploring new sides of himself and wants to show it to us. I don't know why there are people complaining about Jack's verses, i don't listen to his songs and i don't know much about him, but i really liked his part and how it matched jk's voice! this collab worked well. Honestly I didn’t understand Jack’s verses to begin with because I don’t listen to western rap. But I took the time to research the meaning of the rap. I can honestly say that it isn’t disrespectful to women. ABG is not a racial slur (Jack learned this term from an Asian woman who asked him to use this term on the autograph). People clearly misinterpreted the lyrics and jumped to conclusions. Sad that they decided to hate on Jack and encouraged others not to support JK. 😔
