This video turned into a backdoor sequel to The Trial of Jaime Lannister. You can watch it here if you want: ruclips.net/video/NVLrQEa6NOw/видео.html
the idea of everyone converging on the Riverlands for different reasons makes me imagine Stoneheart and the Brotherhood are like ten minutes into the trial. Someone shows up and is just like Benny from New Vegas "............what in the Goddamn?" and everything grinds to a halt 'cause "sigh. yes She's a zombie. yes we caught the Kinglslayer PLEASE just go sit down and wait for your turn to testifiy.... thank you. okay and now-"
SOmeone else shows up by random. "what in the-"
Just a montage of Stoneheart tearing what's left of her hair out in frustration as people only seem to arrive the moment after she's waited long enough to be sure "ok? Ok that seems to be it no one's coming we can finally get on with this."
Jamie meanwhile is laughing hysterically all the while because by the seventh or so insanely unlikely interruption does he even need to make a case for why the Gods are on his side?
You've described Westerosi Seinfeld.
*Busts through door*
OH MY GOD, THE KINGSLAYER AND A ZOMBIE!
"Yes Sandor, you're all caught up."
This is great but please turn the volume up in future videos.
Random internet guy suggests lots of interesting ideas, most of which i disagree with
This has nothing to do with getting wine stains out of upholstery, thumbs down
No no no that's the next video
Harrenhal has one living Weirwood in the Godswood that is known for it's extremely angry face. I like the idea that the Brotherhood takes Riverrun back first and Littlefinger *invites* them to Harrenhal to host Jaime Lannister's trial, thinking he's playing both sides and because he thinks it will please Sansa only to have the whole thing blow up on him because he didn't know Cat was Lady Stoneheart and he didn't know that it was actually *his* trial he was hosting. Either that or they want to try "Alyane" for the murder of Lysa Arryn and it all turns into a shitshow when "Alyane" starts insisting she's Sansa Stark, "Arya" is now saying she's actually some girl named Jayne Poole, "Lady Stoneheart" is supposed to be Cat Tully Stark but she's been wighted so long she's getting confused, and Arya is technically there but because she's warging in from Braavos all anyone sees is a random Direwolf freaking out.
Three Starks in disguises plus one Poole pretending to be a Stark. This is incredible.
You're going to love the next video with all this secret identity nonsense.
@@InterestingNerdClub And maybe Theon too who is going back and forth on coming out from his Reek identity because on one hand he can ID everybody, on the other they all think he killed Bran and Rickon and also Harrenhall is like technically a cursed monument to how much the Riverlands fucking hates Iron Islanders.
You know who else is in the Riverlands? Ilyn Payne ! Wouldn’t he be perfect as Littlefinger’s lawyer ? Just to be sure this is a fair trial…
AAAH THATS SO GOOD
The Blackfish is also a total wildcard here - he's still alive in the books, has a soft spot for Littlefinger, has a blindspot when it comes to Lysa, could be manipulated if he thinks he has a chance at freeing Riverrun and/or Edmure, would assume he could beat Jaime (or Brianne or other possible similar power level possibilities) in single combat when he probably couldn't, probably hasn't seen the Stark kids since they were babies, and would think Zombie Cat is an abomination.
Clack clack clack! (that's funny)
Jeyne Pool becoming a girl boss and executing LF was not on my radar at all but now I swear to god if that doesn’t happen in throwing hands
Name 80 characters?
Challenge accepted!
Walder Frey ×79, hot pie
This is the best comment we've gotten on the channel so far lol
They can copy and paste text now, by the old gods and the new they’ll be unstoppable!
My power grows. Soon none shall be able to challenge me.
I’m gonna start calling the aftermath of Mexican night ‘the Trials Of Harrenhal’
I hate it. I'm not saying it wasn't funny, but I do hate it.
@@InterestingNerdClub The Rains Of Castamere is if it after Chinese food
In fact, the scene that came to George in a vision was the finding of the dire wolves in the Summer snows.
Being wrong about stuff is our brand
@@InterestingNerdClub I thought overwhelming enthusiasm was your brand!
@@InterestingNerdClub But also being veeeeeery close when wrong.
Briene of Tarth, Briene the "Beauty" as she is referred to several times is the younger more, "beautiful" queen confirmed
There was a Witch Queen in Harrenhall before. Alyssa Rivers “woke magic in those stones” but had more connection to Mel. But yeah, I can see it.
jennys song is not a harrenhall song, it is most likely oldstones, though also linked to summerhall, never harrenhall.
New here! Sure, I'll subscribe... I just ask that y'all make more of an effort equalizing your audio. Two of you are quite loud and the other one is quiet af.
Came here from RIG btw
I do love that man, but I also ardently refuse to put effort into anything.
Commenting and smashing that like button to appease that dastardly algorithm
Response and heart to abate the tech gods!
oh dear lord XD its a good thing I just poured my coffee
Get ready, it's a wild one lol
Harrenhall both had a massiv weirwood and was built out of weirwood to a good part and yes the island of faces is very close
It is kinda the perfect fight location. It's so good.
@@InterestingNerdClub pretty much
Love how much fun Tom is having at about 47:30-48:00. Reminds me of Tantor from Tarzan having his own conversation about germs while the adults are having a completely separate conversation about piranhas in Africa.
This is a contender for the best comment on the channel
These riverlands theories are the best. So much potential for narrative payoff
I have always wanted to go back and watch all the old videos and do a running score count but the criteria for points are so random it seems crazy. But now I know that once I get to this video Random Internet Guy (RIG?) will be at 420 points (after 1 guest appearance) Zac will be at 69 points (after dozens of appearances) and I will get to decide where Tom is at (-500)
I'm currently at -489 actually. Every point they get is one taken from me.
@@InterestingNerdClub ahahha understood!
High in the halls of kings who are gone
jenny will dance with her ghosts,
the ones she had lost and the ones she had found
and the ones who had loved her the most
the ones who are gone for so very long
she could not remember their names
and they spun her around over damp cold stones
spun away all her sorrow and pain
:I and she never wanted to leave I:
Probably mostly correct, it works when sung
“Easy Lem Lemoncloak W”
This is like the fourth time Futurama has come up, upcoming Futurama video confirmed?
This is a fun idea. We can do a video discussing how good super deep jokes are.
The Hour of the Wolf 2.0
The trials of Harren
The Hour of the Trout
THIS IS A GOOD TAKE. Unironically, I think you've hit on the narrative purpose of The Hour of the Wolf being in Fire and Blood! LETS GO
@@InterestingNerdClub George already said there was a dance of dragón that ended with the hour of the wolf
while you are at it, could you please write doors of stone? thats just as much of an miserable wait as winds of winter
Doors of Stone?? I don't know this series! What's the 30 second pitch, I'm always into new recommendations.
@@InterestingNerdClub go read the Name of the Wind and the Wise Man's Fear and suffer the wait with the rest of us. the 30s pitch is "these are the best fantasy books ever written" and no explanation does it justice
@@InterestingNerdClub "Kingkiller chronicals" , first was named "the name of the wind" , second "a wise man's fear" . The wait is about as long as for "winds of winter" with the author being busy playing dnd in life streams and producing mearch for the unfinished series as well as comics among other things.
The main character is simultaneously a total genius and the worst idiot ever. He tells in three days(one per book) how he fucked up the whole country with (mostly) good intentions for everything he does always has the worst possible outcome in the end.
A "from rags to fame to disaster" story similar to a greek tragedy.
It is funny, increadably well written, has an amazing magic system and world building overall, interesting characters and well, there is always the question why he chose to tell the story like that and what he might keep out, embalish, things like that.
Well, how did this famed figure, some see a hero in, others a demon, end up as a meek inkeeper devoid of all the skills we saw him aquire over the first two books?
I'd be delighted to read (your version of) doors of stone ^^
I trust you could comfortably read both books and additional shortstories and then start writing after your other project and still finish before the author.
