I wish she was included with a note saying she was disqualified. Leona Gage deserved some recognition, especially after what happened to her post pageant.
Alyssa Campanella deserved to be in the top 10 along with Miss Venezuela in Miss Universe 2011 but Miss Universe 2011 top 16 was one of the strongest group of semifinalists in recent years along with Miss Universe 2014 and Miss Universe 2018. Also we must recognize that Miss Universe 2020 and Miss Universe 2023 groups of semifinalists were good too.
It was really disrespectful to us fanatics and the audience to put that strange and weird human being as a semifinalist in the 2016 edition of Miss Universe. Deshauna Barber was a fraud and I hope he/she never appears again on national television.
I disagree. Deshauna Barber was probably one of the best Miss USA's and was such a great role model and worked very hard during her reign. I would not have put Sarah Rose Summers (2018) or Asyha Branch (2021) into the semi-finals. And I don't think Olivia Culpo should've won at all, let alone make it into the semi-finals.

So many of them shouldn't have entered the semifinals, taking the spot for more well deserving contestants, also so many of the USA winners shouldn't have won. But it was the time USA owns that pageant, so go figure.
