Hi all, there are quite a few asking about the clouds so after a few hours research I found the product on Amazon, Ali Express & other places the product comes in 80gm bags & it's called : Simulation Cloud For UV Epoxy Resin Jewellery Making Filling Crystal Craft DIY Handmade Jewellery Making Tool... hope you find this helpful 😉
@@ARTtherapyEpoxy I notice after your pieces down and then pour a final resin coat over the top to clear it again, is that just mixed resin A+B? Or is it one part only?
Oh my goodness. I am new to this and have watched 50 - 60 hours of you tube resining. I have learned so much but this is the best one I’ve seen. It’s absolutely stunning. Thank you.
New subscriber here! What paint to do use for the resin? So that it doesn't interfere with the chemicals and potentially ruin the resin. I tried this (not this video) but on another project with epoxy resin and I guess there was a reaction and the resin didn't cure as well, I tested it twice, one with acrylic and the other one with vallejo paint which is not water soluble. Also, great job! Looks astonishing!
Your work is impressive! Absolutely amazing 🥰 Unfortunately the last part with the final tint is too vague for me. Can you explain to me how you get the sphere to be even when you pour resin over it from above? I tried it, but unfortunately there are now drops on the bottom of my sphere and part of it is not covered with resin at all. 😟
Hello, yes, there will be drops from the bottom (they will have to be polished later), but everything else should be smooth. Did you sand a little before pouring like in my videos? If you pour resin on a smooth surface, it will flow somewhere and get stuck somewhere. Therefore, it is necessary to clean everything with 200-500 grit sandpaper, and take your time and slowly pour all parts of the product.
Danke 😍🙏
It all depends on the country where you are. I live in Ukraine, and we have our own manufacturers here, including European ones. You'd better test a couple of manufacturers in your country and choose the best one for you. I use long lasting resin for large pours. It takes longer to dry, but there are fewer bubbles, and you can control the process.
Thank you for this inspiring video ! You-re very tanlented ! I just wonder, how do you make it so that the topcoat covers the entire surface of the sphere, and without overflowing at the bottom ?
And thank you for your comment. The finishing coating needs to be tested. There are many factors that influence this: resin, product, time. Therefore, only experiments. I'm showing you how I can do it, so it can work for you too.
Thank you for the lovely video.. Resin is a self levelling medium would nt it all pour down and leave nothing on yhe sphere if we did a pour like you did at laat? 6:20
Danke 😍🙏
Thank you. I bought these Spheres from Aliexpress. But it is also available on Ebay and Amazon. In order for them to hold better, I glue them with hot glue.👍
Excuse me, if you don’t mind - what are those blue and red resins that you pour over the sphere at the end? I’ve never seen anything quite like that. Thanks!
Sand with sandpaper. first with coarse, and then with fine, and polishing paste. Or another option is to roughly sand the entire ball and fill it with a thin layer of resin. In my different videos, there are different options. Good luck to you and your creativity.
What is the white stuff you used to make the clouds please? I see you say a special cotton blend but I have been looking for something to make clouds for a while so I can finish something very special to me and I need that.
It's not just cotton wool or cotton. This is a special material for creativity. Cotton wool for clouds. Or Imitation of clouds. Sold on Amazon or Aliexpress.@@tusharborar

Merci
They don't get inside at all, but they give shades and colored spots all over the sphere.
how did you do the color layer? did you let it just air dry and then sandpaper it? :o it looks absolutely gorgeous!!
That's right. It gave the sphere a little color
I am just starting out with resin work....this is amazing!! Would I be able to do this, as a beginner? I have so many questions !!😊
Yes, sure. The main thing is to try and experiment, and everything will work out for you.
@@ARTtherapyEpoxy thank you so much for replying! I truly appreciate it.

I wait 1 day, but it all depends on the resin. If yours resin takes longer to dry, then wait until you can work normally with the next layer.
I’ve been searching for the birds, where did you get them? Beautiful work!
Painted with acrylic paints between layers.
Wow!
what kind of paint did you use for the birds? thanks
Acrylic paints
Hi its absoultly stunning ❤
From where we can get this mold .kindly help
Aliexpress or Amazon.
One day. This is exactly how long it takes for the resin to harden. ❤

Thanks for the comment, I have resin from different manufacturers, recently I use - Epodex
Beautiful video ,but when u pour resin top of sphere ,all resin fall down , so how u manage ? And pour it perfectly?
Thank you. I have a resin that takes a long time to harden. Maybe because of this.

This is also epoxy resin. She gave a little color to the sphere.
Where do u get ur materials for the clouds and the colors
It's all for sale on Etsy or Ebey or Aliexpress.
Ok what is the name of the cotton used in video for clouds?
I bought without a brand, it just came in a Zip package.
Ok I can search by name of the material which is cotton wool? Right
yes, cotton clouds or imitation clouds
How many grams of resin it would take to fill a 120mm sphere holder?
You need to calculate it using the formula. + margin of 5-10%, since the resin dries out a little during hardening.
Anyway to get rid of the seam?
Sand with sandpaper. first with coarse, and then with fine, and polishing paste. Or another option is to roughly sand the entire ball and fill it with a thin layer of resin. In my different videos, there are different options. Good luck to you and your creativity.
Polishing paste?
Yes, final polishing to a shine. Polishing paste.
What is the white stuff you used to make the clouds please? I see you say a special cotton blend but I have been looking for something to make clouds for a while so I can finish something very special to me and I need that.
I also tried experimentation and nothing like that worked. Therefore, it is easier to buy this cotton blend.
Looks like air dry clay
Hey , you made that layer by layer how many times did it take to set every layer ??
The layer hardens in 1 day.
Another thing to ask how did you did that with cotton, i tried the same , but failed
