Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to make it to Prairie Lights this year, it is on our list for next year, as is Christmas in the Square in Frisco and Enchant Dallas. Based on reviews and feedback I would say that Prairie Lights definitely has longer wait times- but they do also have the walk around area with carnival rides and food which may be a big plus for families. The Light Park was my favorite of the displays we went to this year, but I’m sure Prairie Lights would be a great time too. Hopefully you have fun at whichever one you choose!

Yes, this was shot on an insta360 camera. We felt much better about spending the money at the Light Park vs the show at the Texas Motor speedway. We would definitely spend the extra $10 to go to the light park. Though, It would be nice if these light shows didn’t charge so much but it was a good time and we liked it a lot.
