Singapore housing is more expensive than Dubai, it is also densely populated, a lot of people everywhere given how small the city is, very difficult to afford a car in Singapore.
Dubai has many tall buildings and in times of flooding of epic proportions due to man made design. Residents can rush up the tall towers for safety. Dubai is built mostly of concrete, desset sands and during flash floods can't be absorbed easily. Singapore is a sponge city, with storm drains, wetlands and soil to absorb heavy torrential rain to carry water away. To each their own advantages.
I would choose Singapore as a place to live or work over Dubai, and Dubai I would only visit. I first and foremost, prefer places with a bit more inclusivity and not as strict with LGBTQ+ rights as Dubai since even though I'm not gay myself, still support gay people and have lots of gay friends, and better fit for Christian people like me to visit or live in the long term. But that's not to say I hate Dubai or Muslims (I have some Muslim friends as well), Dubai is still also a very rich and luxurious city like Singapore and the UAE is a very developed nation as a whole, but I also know homosexuality and same-sex marriage are strongly illegal in Islam and UAE, but I just don't wanna spend long-term time in a country that is super strict about gender-inclusive gay rights. But my NUMBER ONE favorite country in the world I TRULY wanna live and work in is Japan, since I'm EXTREMELY OBSESSED with their pop culture of Anime, Kawaii things like Sanrio, and Video Games like ones from Nintendo, and their natural environment and cherry blossoms are top-notch there!! I currently live in the United States in the state of California, but I TRULY hope for the best when moving to Japan for the next decade after I finish my college studies and graduate!! And here are some final things as well I can say about Japan, it's also cheaper than the USA than what most people are led to believe, and it's also closer to the Philippines, which is where my ethnicity originated from even if I was born in the USA.
The difference between people on either sides of this debate are: Dubai: People who vote Dubai just wants to have fun spend money and then eventually leave😂😂 Singapore: People who support Singapore ACTUALLY want to have a good and meaningful life with their partner and children😂😂 But all jokes aside, Dubai is really just a Wealthy Wasteland😂 While, Singapore is an underrated Gem😂 So, in conclusion, Dubai for Short-Time Fun, While, Singapore for Long-time Happiness

SG is boring and over-regulated to me, TBH, thumbs up though to the quality of education, one of the best in the world

Singapore is a sponge city, with storm drains, wetlands and soil to absorb heavy torrential rain to carry water away. To each their own advantages.
Both countries are beautiful ❤️
I'd live in Singapore & visit dubai!
Singapore.
Dubai For Fun , Enjoy
Singapore For Natural Beauty, Living With Family
It's always up to me to have fun no matter where I am!
Singapore is better
The difference between people on either sides of this debate are:
Dubai: People who vote Dubai just wants to have fun spend money and then eventually leave😂😂
Singapore: People who support Singapore ACTUALLY want to have a good and meaningful life with their partner and children😂😂
But all jokes aside, Dubai is really just a Wealthy Wasteland😂
While, Singapore is an underrated Gem😂
So, in conclusion, Dubai for Short-Time Fun, While, Singapore for Long-time Happiness
I been to both, but love Singapore 🇸🇬 much better then Dubai, sorry people from Dubai.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤only Dubai is one my favourite country ever since. Because the building of Dubai is more beautiful and biggest size than Singapore and I really like the Train shapes and colours.
Dubai-nah

I want to go to Singapore 😀
Dubai anytime for me. Nice place with great food.
watch Adam Somethings video on dubai it has many great points also Dubai is mostly a tourist city
@@JimJoeseph Dubai has a lot of Problems
Yeah, all you Indians flock to Dubai and have ruined its image. Please stay in Mumbai.
what about taxes? no income tax in dubai. is it feasible / manageable living in singapore with its tax rates ?
Your comparison is illogical,Singapore is a country, while Dubai is a emirate or a state in the country of UAE (United Arab Emirates) other diffrence is uae you have snowfall apart from rainfall, while there is no such a thing as snow in Singapore.
You can’t compare Dubai to Singapore. Dubai is a city while Singapore is a country. The population of Dubai is about 3.5m while the population of the UAE is about 10m.
Dubai
As an expat, Dubai for me, easier to do business, very safe, once you get your car ( 5 times cheaper than SG) it is easy to commute, SG has a culture, no denial, but DXB has many many cultures blend in within a magnificent mosaic, did I forget Dubai is much better to do business in and yet much more affordable? SG is boring and over-regulated to me, TBH, thumbs up though to the quality of education, one of the best in the world
Singapore for sure! ❤🎉
Dubai is not a country just like a place with malls, hotels for the rich. No character. If SG is a flat desert it will take faster to build a country like dubai but to become like SG it has to start from the 70s
Certainly, Dubai is not comparable, Dubai is more elegant and more sophisticated
How exactly is it more "elegant" and "sophisticated"? Please elaborate. Did you just use those words to sound smart?

Dubai is a city in the United Arab Emirates, and it is also not the capital. As for Singapore, it is a country. However, Dubai is superior to Singapore in terms of quality.
First time visitor won’t visit Dubai again. While they’re tempted to visit Singapore!
Definitely Dubai
You won't get arrested for reporting a rape in Singapore.....

I’m now living in Dubai and I’m first time facing the racist problem in UAE, Before I move here I have lived and worked for 7 years in Singapore. I would highly recommend to people who would like to move to Dubai as you will gain more income but yes your happiness will not be as you gain while you were living in Singapore. Racism seems so far a big problem in MENA as they place us “southeastern Asians” as a second class so you will not get much respect and a proper service from this region. The good thing here is you can travel to Europe anytime you want, there are plenty of budget airlines for you to catch and resting your soul for a weekend.
It’s an insult for Singapore to be compared with an ordinary city like dubai. They only project the downtown of dubai. In reality 90% dubai is still like village. On the other hand, Singapore is way more ahead. Singapore should be compared with New York, Tokyo, Paris.
