    Gaia GPS--this will make finding spots/private lands etc so much easier. Plus a great way to make routes

      Yeah that’s what I use. It’s just the area I wanted to get to that I identified on there was behind gates which is not listed on Gaia

    Great video. Keechelus is my go to spot. We are out there at least a couple times a month. Close to home, some fun wheeling, and a great place to launch from for more exploring and overlanding.

      I didn’t get shots of the more aggressive part. There was a really steep portion with a lot of washout that my truck even nearly scraped. I was focusing on just driving that portion cause it was on a gnarly hill. I did think about that though given the shots I was able to get haha

    • @OFFTHEGRIND
      @OFFTHEGRIND  4 года назад

      Yeah it’s a cool spot! I spent the weekend in my rainier forest and it was super windy there as well. When I got back I found out there was a fire a mile from my campsite but the wind was blowing it away from us so I had no idea

    • @OFFTHEGRIND

    Hello David, just came across your channel and I immediately subscribed. Love your video and your tacoma. I am doing the research about SR5 vs TRD Sport vs TRD Off-road. I was looking for a MT to offset the cost, but I also realize that I will have to give up some features I like (remote start, touch door handle to lock/unlock, etc). Anyhow, would you mine to share the configuration of your TRD off-road? like what other optional packages you added from the mfg/dealer?
    Also, do you have a video showing how you would setup your roof top tent, and how to off load it?

    • @OFFTHEGRIND
      @OFFTHEGRIND  4 года назад +1

      Hey Leo! If you are planning on doing some more serious off roading, I think the automatic is the way to go. Unless you want it to be as challenging as possible. Mine personally is fully loaded. I knew it was a truck I was going to have forever so I wanted to get everything. The leather is easy to clean, dual climate control because my wife is always cold, and I have always wanted a sun roof.
      And no I don’t have a video of that. But I can make one for sure

    • @IAmThePrepper
      @IAmThePrepper 4 года назад

      DavidJenk253 ,look forward to see the video. After some thoughts, I am going to get the automatic transmission. It would be too much of the challenges to do offload while trying to switch gears and need to watch out the road.
