I can’t believe it has been almost one year since Avicii’s passing. I didn’t make a cover or tribute upload because I didn’t want to take advantage of the all the attention or make people believe that I was doing it for the views. Now that I’ve had time to reflect, especially on a person who I can relate with on so many levels musically and emotionally, I wanted to pay homage to someone who was constantly progressing music year after year. RIP Tim. ◢ ◤
Do you have any memories around Avicii's music? To me, he's been present for the last 8 years of my life during some of the best times I've had with my friends. The joy and nostalgia I feel when I hear Levels will stay with me for the rest of my life.
I didnt really listen to his genre of music, but when he passed, I listened through his entire discography and read his biography. So sad to see such a great artist leave us so soon.
His music was present in the best years of my entire life, my childhood, my early teen years... I miss him so much. I'll never forget him and his music will stay with all of us forever.
Pedro Fernandes Avicii was something extraordinary, I’ve seen very few people dislike him, no matter what genre you prefer. Ive seen those who typically stay away from EDM and Pop still make an exception for Avicii, even having some of his songs as their all time favorite, he made music that felt very authentic and human, music that everyone could connect to in some way, he wrote music from the most human of emotions and experiences and that’s why I think you’d be hard pressed to find many who actively dislike his stuff, he may have only been here for a short while but while he was here he made music that we all needed to hear, he’s genuinely a musician who has saved lives with his music.
Avicii is not truly dead, he lives in side all our hearts. Avicii has touched our hearts and our souls. He has changed the way music is done. He has affected everyone here.
Played this at one of my best friends funerals as we were walking out of the church to the gravesite. Brings tears to my eyes everytime i hear it. Amazing.
You can hear the avicii's signature in this song, at least i can. I thought it was like in november of 2018, but turns out time flew. Respect for not uploading then, not many did that. Thank you~ rip avicii
Amazing cover, Rousseau. Avicii was and still is such an inspiration to millions, this was a wonderful way to honor his music and Tim Bergling himself. Sadly, his passing and that of so many others in the last few years have shown us that we can never truly see into each other's thoughts or to expect them to be happy, no matter how successful or well-liked they are. R.I.P. Tim Bergling and every other person that mental illness has taken away from us prematurely
I've hung and put away my strings and keyboard a long time ago, yet this cover seems to pull me back to playing. This reminds me of an emotion that I first felt when I was finally able to play a song completely without any mistakes.
This cover has me in tears.... so very well done. The choice to use dissonance at the end as well as the ascending octave of the party chorus to show that it was killing him was perfect... broke my f'n heart... :'(
As an avicii fan, I had always wanted to go see one of his concerts, but I couldn’t afford them at the time. He was so underrated and everyone around me seemed to learn of his music when he passed. I’ll never be able to see one of his shows, but I hope he’s well in the afterlife
Rousseau, you are AMAZING....You have inspired me to play the piano and made me understand the softness, sweetness and flow of music. You are simply fantastic! I absolutely adored this piece...Thank you😊
Avicii was a big part in my childhood. Ive grown up with his beatiful music playing on the radio when driving home. One of the most inspirational people, never to be forgotten 💕💕
he was my whole entire childhood still devastated to the fact that he is actually gone, but I still have special place for him will never forget him or get bored listening to his pieces of art
R.I.P Avicci, this man was respected by so many and I will never forget or cease to listen to his music. Some songs are so nostalgic and will be the best for a long time, R.I.P

Thank you for doing it the right way. Avicii has a special place in my heart and I had a hard time seeing/hearing those who took advantage of the timing for a tribute or cover. It just felt hollow to me. I’m not saying they weren’t coming from a genuine place, but it just felt like it on my end. We are all blessed because of his work. So, thank you for giving him a fitting tribute ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is a classic Rousseau cover. What style! Elegant and simple, but you always know he'll kick it up five notches before it's over, in one way or another, to bring it home. A noble tribute.
Nav though it is a really good song, I can’t see it being an entertaining piano cover, even if it were to be played by Rousseau. I say all of this but I’d still watch and enjoy it all the same lol
I left home and started living by myself in a different country 8 years ago. "levels" gave me hope about the future. Whenever I started missing my family, I played "hey brother" and remembered the good times. I love his music and I'm back with my family again, but those two songs will always have a special place in my heart. Rest in peace,
Last time when I asked him about original compositions He said he might upload one soon, as this video is out of his usual schedule I thought he might have done it.
Beautiful. Timeless. You brought magic to your listeners again. 🎶🎶 I felt many things, but mostly, a rare opportunity to see/feel someone one last time before saying goodbye. Thank you, Rousseau. May your day, as well as you dear readers, be filled with beauty and wonder. 💜
