I got one of these in November, it was the Emb 1H pro kit. I built it which was quiet fun but as I’m 49 needed a magnifying lamp as some parts are so small. After buying I saw you could get the Truggy conversion kit which comes with wheels, painted shell longer chassis etc. As this came just after I’d built the front and rear ends up I decided to put it on the Truggy and have that over winter then when weather dry I’ll convert it to the buggy. Not a cheap kit, cost just over £200, you get everything in the kit including a hobbywing 35A esc, 2000kv brushless motor, and mini servo. Only thing I needed was transmitter and receiver which I’d got already for another kit I’ve not built yet. The RTR is bit cheaper in price but I wanted to build mine hence the kit version. Really good quality parts and love how this thing moves and it’s very responsive. Got the full alloy hop ups to put on too but leaving that till buggy conversion in spring. Sorry to waffle on.

I have the mt version. It is insane. I only run it on 2s and it wheelies on almost any surface and it can do standing backflips on dry pavement

I wanted to tell you kevin, you need to try using a spray on bed liner on the inside of your bodied. It adheres to the Inside of the body and makes it thicker and works better then the drywall tape. You can also try FLEXSEAL. That stuff becomes rubber when it dries. Same idea, it makes the lexan thicker. I know people who have tried it and can not crack the body. PEACE
Wait, im not only one using it🤣 im using it for 3-4 Years, on my typhon v4 from 2019, i take it out daily and Flip it alot of times and by far cracked only one in 2 Years, but drywall tape is better for bigger bodys and some exposed bodys

Funnily enough, WLToys used the LC Racing Buggy for "inspiration" for the 144001 buggy. This LC Racing Truggy looks like a variant of that original buggy... and yes the parts are nearly all interchangeable.... 144001 with anti roll bars from the LC racing catalogue is very well worth it!!

Lc cars are great, I've had the desert truck, the buggy, and the monster truck. Right now I've got the monster truck with a proline bug body. Just in case you need to know, the losi mini 8ight 48p spur and pinion gears fit. Note though the biggest losi spur that fits is the 58t. I run the hot racing 48p 58t steel spur. Wish I could post. Picture of my set up haha. I also had to trim the battery tray, that's probably my biggest complaint about these little cars.
This is just an idea that crossed my mind. A rc car./truck body molded to hold a GoPro in side it. Like a protective case around the GoPro.

I've been preaching the 1/14 lc racing truggy all day and the Tacon Bulwark truggy 1/14..they are awesome to set up for speedrun
I recommend you try a dewalt 8v max screw driver. I tried one at a track, and I can tell you what, I will never hand tighten a screw ever again. It is so precise for the plastic threads on rc cars.

They still are not here.
They do not give refunds. They give you back in store credit. It's a pain in the ass. So if you break stuff like me, please be aware your car can be broken for 4+months with parts not even shipped to you yet... please be aware of any banggood goods.

@@ir0nm4id3n it's not total garbage, they run and drive okay. It's not quite hobby grade though. But I am really upset about ordering parts. Not only that I ordered the plastic diff housings and they sent the incorrect ones. (After I found out the metal ones were on backorder). Compared to me ordering from horizon hobby, a main hobby, hobby town. Those suppliers get me my parts in 2-3 business days sometimes faster. I'm okay my car being down for a couple weeks but my wltoys 144001 has been broken for 5 months and counting. Kinda sad cuz it's super fun. Really quick.
If you have and LC Racing vehicle and are in the states check out Warren Rc or Riptide rc, they sell the cars and the parts and ship fast, I usually have my parts in 2-3 days.

Duuuude I bought one of these back in February 2016, and it's an absolute monster! I did add a carbon fiber front shock tower, and a beefy metal gear steering servo. Otherwise stock. Oh, 19 gear pinion now too. Recently taped my phone to the top and gps recorded 45mph on 2s. Made my week to see you got one!

Absolutely. I have the rebadged Tacon version of the EMB-1. I have no complaints, other than the lexan wing shattering when you look at it wrong. Seemingly bomb proof as well. Good to see these cars getting some more recognition.
@@hotcha86 I got 2 truggy and 1 brushed buggy from Tacon 👍🏾 I forget how much fun these are whenever I rip them around park! Easy to wrench on & maintain if you bash them hard. Very durable when driving responsibility!

I’ve been wondering if you’d do a video on these... I got the Truggy pro kit and the LC12B1 kit. Love them both!! Absolute beasts. I’ve done 58mph with the truggy, and 65mph with the buggy and truggy tires. Super great vehicles and well worth the money!

what impact bits do you prefer for getting in to the hobby because i just cant seem to find one good
I'd say it's worth it. I bought a cheaper ±90e car, and kept upgrading it piece by piece, investing together over 200e and it still goes max ±60kmh (37mph). I enjoyed the process of tuning it, but looking at this beast.. I guess I'm just going to get this next time shopping for toys. :)

I'd love to see you do soke old school builds. I had a grasshopper and a hornet when I was a kid, Saw some inna hobby shop and the Mrs bought me a hornet kit. Still need to get all the bits like servos etc. Would be nice to see soke of the relics make.a come-back

I got the Bulwalk! Add the aluminum bits; hubs,carriers, spindles, T bone bumper, HARD arms set. It's extremely durable! Nitrorcx, WarrenRC, riptiderc, all carry parts..

Yes!!! I love the truggys take some to a track and some nice ones not all of the dirt cheap ones
When you say 2s, 3s I assume, you are connecting a battery that has higher volt to supply more power? Won’t it burn out the motors?
Tighten up the slipper clutch all the way on the car and it becomes an absolute beast!!! Double backflips on 3s from a stand!!!
You should put some better traction tires on it and then see what it can do in the grass on 2s lipo. Just a suggestion tho. Maybe it'll do 45mph? That'd be awesome to see!
Is the rgt crawler any good for a beginner and will it be able the keep up with a trx4 and axial scx10
A long term test for these “dirt cheap” rc’s is what’s needed, I had no luck at all with the Vkar Bison 😞
This wee yoke actually looks decent, and at £166 won’t break the bank, you also say parts availability is good! That’s a BIG plus point compared to the Bison....
Don’t put this on a shelf and forget about it, use and abuse it and give us a decent honest long term review. We need a good entry level rc to get more young folk into this hobby, too easy for them to get deflated if stuff breaks on the first outing. And no way is someone gonna drop XMaxx money on their first rc vehicle, even if it is good advice!

I drove mine on a 1/8 track on 2s and It can clear some of the jumps. On 3s it clears all the jumps. But obviously this is more suitable on a 1/10 track.
I would say you hit 50mph Kev because I have that same gps and from my testing it seems to be about 2 miles slower than the read out!

Tis a rebrand like Ofna was a Hobao rebrand, only differences are the bodies for the LC is made from lexan and the Tacon is PVC and the stickers on the body.

easzylongy my mini 8 t came with a smaller motor I had to switch it the shaft snapped 😂 still the mini 8 t been the worst rc truck I have ever had. Just kept breaking over and over.. but when it did run it was not bad 47mph on 3s I forgot the gearing though..

Over thanksgiving I broke my kyosho rage2.0 because I may or may not have ran it into another car and broke the back wheel coupler and bent the steel axle... hopefully we can get it fixed and I can put some fireworks on it for new years
