When I first found this channel I had no idea the dude was loaded..lmao then randomly saw a Lambo just hanging out in his garage 4 episodes or so in.. then the truck later on..lol Kevin seems like the coolest dude, wish I was in the UK I would definitely be going to his truck shows and any rc events they advertised..lol

That was some excellent footage! I sure love the Cheetah. It's amazing how similar $300 cars running on similar 4S batteries can be so different in speed. JLB somehow just nailed the perfect combo of electrics and gears.
But you'd probably have to sacrifice reliablity to have that much performance for a fairly low price
The dhk is not as fast, but it is more reliable

I dunno why I get so much joy out of watching these videos . Maybe cuz you guys drive them with no fear of breaking them i bought a gas rustler the first day I jumped it full throttle off a ramp and destroyed it cost almost half the price of the vehicle to repair and then never bought another one

Just started watching and you definitely seem like the "cool uncle" that lets you drive his RC cars around his driveway when you come over. Definitely earned a sub for that nostalgic feeling of fun. (Also you made me want to pick up one of those WLtoys buggys, not sure which one tho)

Hehe. Great video! That JLB Cheetah 120A cracks me up. I have it as well and I enjoy seeing it featured in videos like this. On 4S high-C lipos, speed runs are actually quite difficult to pull of. It *really* likes to wheelie and backflip :-D

@@sassy_gamer7899 400 retail. Swear they are worth every penny. 4s is massive bashing power and plenty to do wheelies for as far as you can see. And 6s and esc tweak will do standing flips all day long. Just have to watch steering servos and making sure spir gear is tight before 6s use. I got a good deal on one and I couldn't pass it up 😂
@@spike-- I dont do them personally I haven't messed with the punch or anything other than bump the breaks up a bit. I was saying that in the way that it can be done. I plan on picking up a slew of parts that I CAN get. Hoping redcat keeps up on parts😬😂
I finally got my car out to the skatepark as i have just made it brushless (its an HPI Mini Recon) it did a ginormous backflip and just drove away. This is a car that i broke the shocks jumping it off of a tiny ramp.
The buggy reminds me of the RedCat Tornado buggy...hell of some bashing & speed runs..👏😎👍

@@LegendaryRc i have one...they are satisfactory...spare parts are cheap and readily available...insanely fast but they are very fragile. Dont bang the car as crazy too often.

@@LegendaryRc i wouldn't get one. I had it and it would blow the drivetrain aaaallllll the time. The bevel gear that goes from the driveshaft to the diff, and the pins that hold the drive cups in place. crappy metal on a heavy car that has a lot of stress on the rear due to wheelies is not a good recipe. Look at getting a 2nd hand Hobao buggy, probably cheaper and waaaaay better. I sold my jlb for a Hyper VSE and never looked back

Price over value what would you prefer ? I have my eyes set on a rustler 4x4 vxl. But I'm looking for a rather durable fast basher. But dont wanna spend as much as the xmaxx

Hey Kevin are there any cheap belted tires, or specific tires that don't balloon as much
For the rustler take the transmission apart and reassemble it that should work because it works for my Traxxas slash

Hey Kevin in the need to get my brand new infraction back on the road after destroying my rear hub I put the rear hubs off of my kraton 6s on my infraction and the rear tire whear super even now and are slightly wider in the back in the front and handles better I'd like to see your thoughts on this

zd racing does have a website that you can buy parts from. they're a small company out in japan which is why theyre hard to get parts for. i cant wait to get my buggy!

The buggy also takes 40-50 business days to ship...so basically the cheetah is the way to go. It is a beast and has parts readily available.

The best part about ball joints is you get to pop em back in ;3
You may or may not have done this Kev but on the jlb cheetah you can lower the wheelie bar so is stops the car from flipping as easily.
Pretty soon you're going to need a trailer for all the RC when you guys go out

Well if you compare the dhk Maximus with batteries charger from banggood for 350 bucks versus my 6s kraton when I needed getting started a charger and everything was almost $900 out the door it's cheap

My ZD thunder truck is great. It performs really well but the parts are hard to find but I'm finding that traxxas makes parts that you can use on it. One of the after mark company's needs to start making parts for ZD racing!!!!!
