So was this 48v battery? Low amps what are you powering? Small motor?

This was built for the purpose of building a dual drive 2000 watt sample E-BIKE. A was built with some margin. This is because the front fork dropouts are more likely to break.

So how do you calculate the amps ? is it the amps of 1 18650 cell times the # in parallel ?

Connecting batteries in parallel increases Ah. Voltage does not change.
1ah + 1ah = 2ah
