Thank you for sharing this great video! I wanted to offer an additional tip that could be helpful. Instead of manually adjusting each clip, you can use the scale slider under Position & Size to achieve the same results. This way, you can select all your clips and make the adjustments at once. Then, you can go back and reposition each clip as needed. Keep up the fantastic work, and I wish you continued success with your content!
This video actually helped out ALOT! I've been editing for a couple of months now, and wanted to use a better editing app, so I just downloaded cap cut, gave me what I was specifically looking for! Thanks a lot!
Excellent tutorial! This was perfectly detailed and super easy to follow. So many others either go too fast or skip steps. I got exactly what I needed from this!
Best tutorial BUT, when i scale that video it actually loses the quality for it. How can i let that quality how to be before but the video will be from horizontal to vertical?
did you figure this out? I'm having the same problem where it's trimming areas that I don't want trimmed. TikTok accepts horizontal videos now but I still just wish to do 9:16. TIA if you have an answer.
This. made me sub how did you get that yellow circle this is why you are better then the other teachers you talk slower show us where you are pointing and you don't rush fast thank you
what if I want to keep the video horizontal, I just want to output at 9x16? obviously I don't want to edit with my head tilted the whole time so how do I just output the whole project rotated? I plan on having my Instagram viewers simply rotate their phone...
If you can't record in both vertical and horizontal at the time of filming, do you think is easier to alter 16:9 into vertical vs trying to take a vertical to 16:9?
I pretty much always film in 16x9 horizontal. Taking vertical video and converting it to horizontal makes you have to zoom in too much and your field of view is so small.
Hey, helpful video thanks ! Got a question though. If I just wanted to post on Instagram reels and story's and TikTok wouldn't it be better if I just record my videos in vertical only?
Yes, I would be ideal for you to film vertically for those sorts of videos, but sometimes people have horizontal videos that they are trying to convert.
That was exactly what I needed. Another issue I am having is that the audio bar is too small. Can you stretch the sound bar vertically so it would be bigger to see the beats? The software has an option to stretch it horizontally but I can’t seem to find the option to stretch it vertically.
como resolver quando cap CUT no notebook qualquer vídeo fica metade na horizontal e a outra metade do vídeo na vertical, como resolver pra ficar todo na horizontal?
I'm still watching but I wonder if it's possible to do in reverse, to make a vertical horizontal. Accidently recorded the most perfect footage in vertical. Ugh. So mad at myself But its footage not duplicatable. Yikes
@@NorthernVikingEveryday could you put something else on the side or both sides? Like blurry video mirror kinda thing or a frame of sorts or something?
people really be too lazy to flip their phone to watch a 1080p video they'd rather watch a video on tiktok in 9:16 resolution but the video is still 16:9. Yeah, that's just dumb. If the younger generation is too lazy to flip their phones to watch a video in its proper format, I have no hope for any of them. @@NorthernVikingEveryday
This is what I plan on doing, but how do I rotate the thing after creating ? Right now I'm having to redern in 16x9, then make a new project and flip to 90 degrees and rerender, has to be and easier way.

Is there a way to move all of them on the canvas at the same time? When I try to group them and upscale it. The quality is destroyed
Sad the video shot is completely compromised to fit a vertical social media format. Please show the kids how to shoot and post properly.
This helped just is their another way to make it so I don’t have to crop out most of it?
Great video thank you! Does Capcut have a way to remove the sounds from the original videos?
Just watched a second video of yours that showed me how to mute the original video sound, lol Thank you for that one too

How to change the background of the clip? It's black in colour and how do I change the colour?
Hey, helpful video thanks ! Got a question though. If I just wanted to post on Instagram reels and story's and TikTok wouldn't it be better if I just record my videos in vertical only?
Yes, I would be ideal for you to film vertically for those sorts of videos, but sometimes people have horizontal videos that they are trying to convert.
can you please make a tutorial on how to upload the vertical videos as shorts to youtube?
Thanks for the idea, I may do that in the future. I'll add it to my list.

Please answer how do I make one clip vertical but keep another clip horizontal?
thanks
thanks

Can this be done on phone too?😁
Any way you can help with keeping a subject in frame?
I do cut and try my best to move the subject into frame but it makes it look glitchy
For context I've turned my horizontal video to vertical for shorts/tiktok
And having trouble keeping subjects in frame at times
That was exactly what I needed. Another issue I am having is that the audio bar is too small. Can you stretch the sound bar vertically so it would be bigger to see the beats? The software has an option to stretch it horizontally but I can’t seem to find the option to stretch it vertically.
Is there a way to pam from left to right on one of those clips while its playing or are you stuck to whatever part of the clip you zoom in on?
There is, unfortunately I don't have a video on the topic.
thank you for your video but It is possible to do 9/16 to 16/9 ?
With on filter i don't want black part of my screen !
Thank you for your answer

I'm still watching but I wonder if it's possible to do in reverse, to make a vertical horizontal. Accidently recorded the most perfect footage in vertical. Ugh. So mad at myself
But its footage not duplicatable. Yikes
Yes it should be possible. However, you will have either black bars on the side or it'll be zoomed in to fit the 16x9 ratio.
@@NorthernVikingEveryday could you put something else on the side or both sides? Like blurry video mirror kinda thing or a frame of sorts or something?
Yes, You could put a background on the first layer and then the vertical video in the second layer on top and that would fill the sides up.
@@NorthernVikingEveryday thank you so so much!! ❤️
tysm
dude i want it to be full screen
but why dont you just rotate the video and make it so they have to flip their phone to watch it????
Because when people are editing videos to Make TikTok videos or RUclips shorts etc You want them to be vertical.
people really be too lazy to flip their phone to watch a 1080p video they'd rather watch a video on tiktok in 9:16 resolution but the video is still 16:9.
