Here I am, laying in bed a little past midnight, watching a video lesson for a language I grew up with.

Okay, as a person who's just starting to learn Arabic, I'm convinced: Arabic is THE language of love ♥️
Agreed - probably because it's also THE language of poetry and prose.
Thanks 😍
I totally agree with that!!😃
Arabik alluga - is a Love -Language!
Shuuuukraaaafor Your classes!
Arabic is a very beautiful language I wish it was easier so that everyone can feel and see how beautiful it is.
Lingua Franca It’s not that difficult, it’s mostly in people’s heads
Arabs need to buy Netflix, then maybe people will probably find it easier because they will hear it often.
@@akoden2667 I find it slightly difficult, but mostly the mechanics linguistically. Rrr's especially. American tongues are commonly placed further back in the mouth when pronouncing sounds, whereas other foreign languages like Arabic, the tongue is relaxed and sounds are formed closer to the front and just behind the ridge. This is not in our heads 🙂
Me also wishing what if i am Arabic family born
@@TheBunnyHeals I know everything about tongue placement. Its that way for every language. Still in your head
Why am I watching this? Arabic is my first language 😂
gothic shosho 🤣🤣🤣💞

اه فعلا ليش
Arabic نصيحة ذهبية والله مابعرف هههههه😂
In French you can call your lover "mon choux" which means "my cabbage". And the world thinks that French is a romantic language!
memully oh dear 😂😂😂😂
Hahaha I call my friends "mon chou" all the time :) it's so cute!
Oml I'm weak😂😂😂😂it's still romantic fam😂💕
And don t forget "ma poule" that means my chicken, it seems like he is gonna eat her😂
My cabbage😁
Wow Arabic is such a beautiful language MashaAllah. Love Palestine all the way from Nigeria❤️
My boyfriend is Arab . And we use these words whenever we want to call each other . So sweet 😍 so much love for Palestine ❤
How we can learn Arabic from movies?
ruclips.net/channel/UCY5CKGdyO5bESH_o9JIe5Kg
@Cll Cccc I dont trust your English
Oh shut up there has never been s country called Palestine. I grew up in Israel and the things our enemies have you believing, just from reading off the internet, not true life experience. If you go to Israel, most of the Arabs work for Israel. All your propaganda is a lie.
@Cll Cccc hahaha it actually happened to me but anw . Im not Indian and never been there but i wish one day i can travel there .U r right they usually like to play . U have to be careful . I like Arabs culture at all . Their language and songs . Its just so sweet for me .
@@akoden2667 hey man !calm down !! U r so rude !!! We all know there was a big Palestine . And now also there is a Palestine . What do u expect ???they have no choice .their life is there . U want them to fight and kill innocent ppl and children ? Like what Israel's government is doing now? Like what they did to Lebanon ?
In Spanish we say, "Mi vida" which means my life. We also say my heart, "Mi corazón" . "Eres la luz de mis ojos" , which means you are light of my eyes is also very popular. I think Spanish and Arabic have a lot of similarities. They are both very poetic and descriptive languages.
I love how much in common there is between Arabic and Spanish
Yes Spain was concurred for 800 hundred years from the Khalifa
In Italian we can say "sei la luce dei miei occhi" which means "you're the light of my eyes" 😊
ruclips.net/video/8A0ajX5rfm4/видео.html
In Russian it's possible to say "ты свет моих очей" which means "you're the light of my eyes" also😊
i’m really trying to focus on learning but you’re too gorgeous!

In mexico we say " the light of my eyes " = La luz de mis ojos , we also say " You are my eyes" = tu eres mis ojos. We double the words too.
actually that used in arabic too ..
Woow Its beautiful , in arabic we use that as well
Its : noor eyoni = light of my eyes
Arabic is concise. For “This is my house” the Arabic is ھذا بیتی۔ Just two words against four.
Not surprised since Arabic influenced Spanish
My husband is a Kuwaiti so I am trying to learn basic Arabic language. It helpful so much. Shukran 🙏😊👍
In the Holy Quran the phrase "Qurrata-A'yun" is used which means "Coolness of my eyes"

Thank you. I love Arabic. Such a beautiful language.
We have exactly the same in Greek, we say my heart , my eyes , my life , my soul and these phrases are considered love expressions
After all this years of hearing that famous Amr Diab song playing over and over again, "Nour El Ain" finally makes perfect sense lol! (I am from Malaysia btw, Chinese-Malaysian to be exact. We don't speak Arabic but we share a lot of Arabic words in our vocabulary)
Most common way I address my wife is to say "kulta" which means "gold" in Finnish. Also I use "kultaseni" which roughly means "my little golden piece"
Adorable ❤️
Or "rakas" which means loved one 🙌🏾
Beautiful
Bro . On a lighter note. Dont use kulta in india.....you may get punched...bcoz it means prostitute..dont mind bro. I just learned something from you as well.
That's sooo cute 😻😻😻💜
I liked the love expressions in Arabic..i Love the language.

I used to watch your videos when I was living in Dubai (Indian here) and found them enjoyable because I could relate to them. I think you moved to Europe next and eventually I moved too so I lost track of your channel. I’m here almost 6-7 years later and when you spoke about your daughter, I realized time has flown by! You’re still the same - bubbly and sweet! My family is in Dubai and I miss the city every single day. Watching your videos makes me nostalgic. Stay blessed. 💜
Beautiful. Expressions. I am from South America. I am a social worker and have many many arabic speakers clients every year. I love them. I wish to learn Arabic to tell them how special I feel about them, about their culture. I would like to learn some words that make them feel welcome. With you right now, I am learning some good ones. Today precisely, one of them joking about it (and we just laugh a lot) said if you learn arabic with that spanish accent you will do no good to arabic language. We just laugh a lot about it!!!😁 I love them, and I would like to express my feelings about them and their beautiful families. Roh rohi
Light of my eyes is used in italian language as well, expecially in the South of Italy, and it sounds as "Luce dei miei occhi" 😍
Thanks for your lessons. Lovely!
Florofilla ooooh my gosh so beautiful in both Arabic and Italian
In Spanish:
* Eres la luz de mis ojos
you're the light of my eyes
* Mi vida = My life
* Mi corazón = My heart
* Mi cielo = My heaven
* Él es los ojos de ella
He's her eyes
* Él ve por los ojos de ella
He sees through her eyes
So good 😉

@hussami khaldoun what are you talking about
my language is Tamil which is a classical language like Arabic. the same love phrases such as eye life heart soul have been used in tamil too. Tamil is widely spoken in South India Sri Lanka Singapore Malaysia . your teaching method of Arabic is fantastic.
Just started learning Arabic a a few months ago. Love your videos. Such a poetic language. We have the exact same expressions in Greek except for “my age”.
Arabic is really nice language i wished I could leave nearby you so could learn it more fluently and in better way.

Marhaban Maha. You are an amazing and charismatic person. I am brazilian. I study twenty languages in a daily basis and I really want to become fluent in arabic. Your class was really helpful and interesting! Thousand "Schukran"!
I'm Turkish and we have a lot of arabic words in turkish. I just realized Roh and hayat are also coming from arabic. In turkish we say "hayatim" but in arabic its "hayati" We have so much in common :)
i looove the way she laugh with herself explaining and speaking the language!!!

In Spanish there are a lot of similar expressions:
Corazón= heart
Corazón mío= my heart ( to emphasize)
Mi vida= my life
Mi alma= my soul (especially used in the south of Spain)

The more you know, the more you will love it.
I'm loving this ❤️.. This is very helpful to Me. Since I'm learning Arabic language these days. Alhamdulillah I found your channel. ❤️❤️❤️
It sounds nearly the same in Maltese! We also use them all:
Ghajni -of my eyes
Qalbi-my heart
Hajti-my life
Ruhi-my soul
And we also use the double expressions
Qalb ta qalbi, ruh ta ruhi etc
Dawl t'ghajnejja - light of my eyes
Amazing I could actually understand this
Maltese is a semitic language. It's influenced by or rather comprised of Italian and sicilian (more than 50%), Arabic (about 30% - 40%) , and English. So you have a rich language! They say if you listen to a Maghrebi (Arab north Africa) like a Tunisian, there is a good chance you'd understand 20 or 30% of it! Try to find a Tunisian video on youtube and listen to it to find out.
Im Puertorrican and we say this a lot to our children:
“Mi corazón de batata mameya” means my sweet potato heart 😂
“Mi porqueria” means “my trash” lmao but it’s like referring to someone fragile, adorable that you love.
“Benditooo” or “ditoo” means blessed but we use it when we feel sorry for someone or when something is so cute you want to cry. Like “awwww” in English.
I have learned to speak Arabic, you are my first teacher 5 year's back
I absolutely love all of your videos! You’re helping me become closer to my beloved Arab family❤️ thank you so much for all of your hard work. Looking forward to your next video. السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ 😘❤️

I’ve just moved to an Arab country and you’re not only making it easy for me to learn Arabic but also more curious on learning more ♥️
its a lucky person who gets to use these words with you! Mabrouk , great videos....thank you.
In French Canadian, so in Québécois, you actually say "mon loup (male)" / "ma louve (female)", which means "my wolf".
It's actually quite sweet and beautiful, I find. Nordic culture is sometimes a bit austere and this endearing term is quite belonging to that feeling, somehow. You know, in the cold of the land, you still got the wolves. A wolf is savage but is also loving and strives for its community since it lives in packs. All kinda austere/nordic hahahaha. We say less and mean a lot when we speak. In the cold nordic heart, you will find incredible warmth. :)
You are so cute. I love your giggles. Everything you’re saying is so true. Umm Kalthume is an Icon 🥰 thank you for doing this, I left Iraq at 9 and I’m relearning Arabic ♥️

Egyptians slowly realizing how weird their phrases are the more they watch people trying to explain it:
When I watch your video it feels you are my neighbour, like I would know you my whole life, teaching me Arabic.👏🤗❤❤👌 you do it good
Maha you are fun to watch🥰 thanks for lovely video!
Here, in Brazil, we used : " my love" = meu amor, sometimes : " my coconut candy" = meu docinho de coco, " paission" = paixão (paishaun), " honey" = meu bem, " my doubtful" = meu dengo, sometines we used " my black" = meu preto or minha preta (independent of the colour of the skin the person have, you see many people that has a white skin used that expression), people of the south say: " my gigt" = minha prenda.
In Spanish they as well say Negra, Negrita, Negrito....probably totally politically incorrect these days...
I’m curious as to why “my doubtful” is a term of endearment although it sounds negative?
The most beautiful language...
