Hey everyone, in this video, I discuss some reasons why I think some Arab men may consider Western women when it comes to dating and relationships. These reasons apply to different types of Arabs, depending on factors such as religious beliefs, exposure to Western culture, and socio-economic status.
It's important to note that the reasons I discuss are based on my personal experiences and observations, and are not necessarily applicable to all Arab men. Cultural attitudes and behaviours are complex and multifaceted, and this video is just one perspective on the topic.
Your Arab man's interest in you can be genuine, without any secondary motivations. The reason I used the word 'POSSIBLE' in the title is to shed light on the fact that there may be existing secondary factors that could contribute to an Arab man's preference for a Western woman, but these reasons are probable and not a must. However, it's important to note that even if these factors exist, they do not discredit a man's genuine interest in a Western woman, or at least not all of the reasons. I encourage you to approach this content with a critical eye and consider the nuances of the topic. In one of my previous videos, I addressed the stereotypes and misconceptions that people have about the Middle East. In this video, I aim to provide a truthful examination of some common understandings and misconceptions, not to perpetuate stereotypes, but to bring nuance to the topic.

This is also what a Morrocan female friend advised me to do. She told me: Test him by demanding marriage. And if he truly loves you, he will marry you. 3 weeks later we got married. I am happy with my husband. ❤

Most European women are one man woman and they are faithful to the man they love. The danger with European women is when they get to know that their man is cheating on them with other women. That would definitely mean the end of the relationship or marriage. Some try to fix a broken marriage but it would never be the same again.

Why do you assume that the dreams of western women are any less sincere? Most western woman dream of everlasting love (which makes them much more vulnerable to heartbreak), whereas many Muslim women are more concerned with (financial) security (which makes them much more pragmatic).

I’m from the US and white and honestly I’m so tired of western guys dating culture. They all want to play games and never want anything serious. I don’t even bother dating anymore because they are almost all the same. Wish there was more a focus on marriage and making a life together like there is in the east.
Yes, I agree with you about the dating culture. It can be quite cumbersome, and you can end up going in circles, leading nowhere, only losing your time and energy.
However, I believe that if a woman desires and is willing to put effort into herself, she will be able to attract a man who takes her as a lifelong partner and not as a toy.

Recenty an Arab guy ( from Tunisia)approached me for having a date and learning about all this he looked surprised and told me i have a Muslim womans mentality .I took it as a compliment( i thought he meant it as a compliment because he told me he is traditional )Im a Christian and quite conservative ( not a prude, i dont judge others for their lifestyle ,i have mine and i believe we can all co exist) I thought he will be respectful. Lol the one and only time I've been talking with an Arab guy it was pretty similar dynamic. Pitching about how important his religion and his values are, but turned out, his lifestyle was the polar opposite.

When I was single I saw a first date as meeting someone and not take it too seriously. Since I barely knew the person there was no way there would be any physical contact.
I do think it’s best to look at a potential partner or spouse practically. Do you have the same values? Can you agree on what is an acceptable parenting style before having children? Are both parties willing to compromise at times?
If two people want a marriage to work and both are basically morally ‘good’ people, then the marriage will work (and be a happy one).
i'm a Dutch woman and I love Arab men. Most of them has a natural beauty. But it's not only the outside but the innerside is most important. People in the West mostly date before marriage. Not everybody want to marry. This is to see there is a match between them.That is a huge difference with the Arab culture.
Dating before marriage is forbidden because it may produce many bad factors, including a mahram son, family separation, and exploitation for the sake of sleeping together. I do not mean this. Of course, there are bad people who play on both sides. This is why a person must respect himself and appreciate his eternal partner. I know that in the West there are relationships. There are many before marriage, and what encourages this most are the strange laws, such as the length of the waiting period in marriage and divorce. The person must search for his other half with whom he can complete his life instead of entering into forbidden relationships with other people who waste his time, life, health, and body all the time, as if The matter is buying another type of car or trying a new food. This is a life built on appreciation, trust, respect, care and acceptance from both parties.

In the west men still have to do family interviews with the family. It’s not like we all don’t check the paperwork of who are children are getting married with. Just saying this out of frustration because non western ppl think we don’t have conservatives out here and we do. We have multi lifestyles of all spectrums

also I don't agree that he said for "economic reasons" such as paying mahr and gold and camels to brides is expensive, but in the west it wouldn't be such. He clearly doesn't know that women in the west demanding diamond engagement and wedding rings which cost at least $5k but I think the average is around $15-20K, and there's no limit to the highest priced ring some women ask.

Even with my experiences, I still feel fragile and unprepared. I started getting into dating a year ago and still don’t know how to feel. If my dad were still alive, there were a lot of situations I could have avoided.
I came from a life with little experience of men and was sheltered. I left Christianity at age 21 and didn’t start dating till age 23 (now 25).
My husband is from the Middle East. We know most Arab men are expecting to have a good time in Europe & America not to get married. However, I always took my own car and never went to rooms. We had a big argument after we got married cause I still wasn’t going to the hotel room. But I am “crazy” and it made him “crazy” but it all worked out in the end. Arab men don’t usually marry the “community property” as he calls those kind of women.

I'm so disappointed. I envisioned something potentially real with a guy from Iraq. Unfortunately, before even meeting in person, he woke me up at 4:00. After that, I got asked for pictures. I thought, "A selfie?" I sent a few. I then got asked about a body picture. I told him that I was hoping to meet someone that looks for more than just a body in a person. So, I moved on, and decided not to meet up at all. It's very sad how people stereotype & assume that all Western women are easy. I come from a strict family background, and also have to seek approval from my dad. So, that was a very disappointing experience. I actually found your channel while trying to learn more about Middle Eastern men since I thought he would possibly be good. We share the same or at least similar beliefs. So, I thought we'd be on the same page. But it's what it is... It's important to know culture, but also to realize that people are people at the end of the day... And, you have to ask questions to figure out if a man is worth having even a coffee with. 😅

They have daughters (a widower I met) or sisters who are kept under lock and key, yet they think with their little habibi to try and play with non-Muslim women. I live in Bahrain, men will cross borders to get their zina on away from the eyes of Allah. I've seen scantily clad "working girls" here and in UAE to satisfy male urges.

I agree with this. American and Canadian (me) were bullied if we didn’t give our virginity away by 18. And we were valued based on our performance in the bedroom. Now being 27; I can see how sick our society is raising women to be sex workers. And raising women to work, which we all basically have to now, you loose a big part of your feminine side and the dangers of living alone because our families kick us out at 18, it is scary.

Hey! I'm very interested in these topics. One question I have is, if Arab men marry young, people tend to grow apart or change as they age. What does a man do if what he was happy with at age 20 is not what he's looking for at age 30, etc , but you don't want to hurt the woman or children?

For the first question; from what I saw from people around me men's emotions don't change after time, if anything it's the woman's feelings that seem to change as they grow old. My grandpa is in his 70s and grandma is in her 60s, he loves her and respects her way more than she does😅😂
For the second question; yes it applies to both genders, not everyone adheres to that of course and so men could come across a potential second wife in work or some other place.
also I should add that a man most commonly ask his mother or sisters to find them a suitable women to marry, this applies for first wife as well as second wife ets.
For the last question; some men would take her feelings into consideration but others would not give up on their right to get married to second woman even if the first didn't like it, most woman just accept it especially if the man is good. Mostly every wife lives in a separate home and he would live one day with the first wife and the other day with the second and so on.
I also want to add that it's not that common because the man neads to be able to financially support two families so not many people can do that only the wealthy men.

Hey Diane, there is no money required when it comes to the marriage contract, and even if there are some minor fees, they won't be required from the woman. I double-checked this information with an Emirati friend. So, be cautious with the person you're dealing with. If you doubt it is a scam, it probably is. And this sort of scam is very popular. Usually, they are men who pretend to be something they are not. They might tell you they are from Dubai, but they end up communicating with you from an internet shop in Ghana. Be cautious.

Im Iranian and Persian and I know a lot of Persian men with western women, mostly they date them but many of them marry western women too. Idk how it is with Arabs, but I see Lebanese and morrocan guys marrying with western women but usually not other arab nationalitys.

Hey there, thanks for your feedback! While it's true that in the countries I've been to, it may be less common to find a 22-year-old woman who is a virgin, except maybe in rural areas. But, I still can say that surely there will be women with different choices and experiences regardless of their percentage. I know some topics will be sensitive to some and I try my best to approach them with diplomacy while still expressing my honest views.
