My three fund portfolio is made up of 33 percent S&P, 33 percent total stock, and 33 percent foreign. I went 100% stock since I felt the need to concentrate on complete growth, but is there enough overlap between the SP500 and TSM for me to keep both? But for the past month, I've been losing money. I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to investing because I work hard for my money. I'm not sure if I should sell everything or just wait, but it's awful to see my portfolio disappear.

I agree, which is why I prefer having an advisor guide my day-to-day investment decisions. Glad to see you back. In my experience trying to deal solely with the negative or bad things in your life is a mistake, you need other routines and something else to do as well. Maintaining other routines, and more fun relationships, will help you be more mentally stable and help you maintain a positive outlook. It will provide alternate POV's, and very likely help you solve or deal with the bad and negative stuff in a better way. Best of luck.

The big news today in the announcement was maintaining the 2023 delivery target. Big Q4 coming up after factory upgrades.
So, will there be the 475k in Q4 needed to make the 1.8m number for ’23? Will continued RE oversupply lower housing prices enuf to moderate interest rate pressures? Will the Fed try to avoid exacerbating an election year recession? Regardless, relative to all other car makers, Tesla’s exceptional across-the-boards leads should make things quite breezy for them, one year out, despite how macros evolve, further accentuating their beta. Therefore, > 2% of my portfolio is destined for LEAPS.

I like how Tesla said the goal for the year is still 1.8 million. The stock will crater if Tesla doesn’t achieve that. Otherwise, people will keep buying the dip like today.
Tesla didn’t miss….it was a Wall Street number, which they always get wrong. Tesla actually told the market they would be shutting factories to re tool.

I would expect deliveries would be low due to the shutdowns for necessary upgrades. Tesla still sells every vehicle they produce.

We’ll said Dave, not a big miss, results absolutely in line with expectations if someone wanted to listen carefully. I kind of have the feeling that Q4 will be a super strong Q and will bring the yearly car sold closer to the 1.9M rather than 1.8M. The key mid term focus for long term investors should be imo Cybertruck ramp speed and Giga Mexico construction.

Wow. It’s been a while since I’ve been on this channel. Remember 2017/2018 and Tesla being on the brink of bankruptcy, trading at 180 per share. We’ve come a long way.

Given that production was down in Q3 due to factory upgrades, does that mean that Q4 is going to be half a million unit quarter? Surely, all cylinders must now be firing at all Tesla factories, so $500k+ should be easily achievable?
